Zhonghua Gate was called Jubao Gate in Ming Dynasty. It was built in Hongwu of Ming Dynasty and changed to Zhonghua Gate in 1927. The wall is about 21 meters high. It is connected by three urns and four coupon gates. It may be the largest city gate. Each ticket door has a jack gate and two wooden doors which can be started up and down. It has been destroyed by war. There are 27 caves for Tibetan soldiers in Wengcheng, which can store 3,000 troops and 10,000 tons of grain. Zhonghua Gate is the south-facing city gate of Nanjing. Outside the city is the Outer Qinhuai River. It is very close to Lao Mendong, Confucius Temple, Zhanyuan Garden and China Imperial Examination Museum. From the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival this year, the Zhonghua Gate was also specially decorated.
