Starbay Restaurant Review

Had dinner here and loved it. Fabulous Thai food. Great beef red curry. Pad Thai delicious. Children loved spring rolls/ wontons & chicken satay. Had the chicken fried rice too and a few beers. Could not fault food or service. We stumbled upon this place as it was close to our hotel. Seek it out you won't be disappointed. We ate well for $50 Aussie!

We were in Le Meridien and this place is 50 meters from the hotel on the beach. We found it by accident and went back 4 times. It is not a fancy place, but the view is excleent to the sea and the food is exceptionel. I recommend to try red curry and lemon chili king schrimp.

We have eaten here for years and found the food bland and indifferent. Not so any more. A new menu offers much tastier offerings, on a par with many of the other restaurants along Lamai Beach Road. Tucked as Starbay is between two very expensive places, one of which is the famous Beach Republic, this is by far the best food you'll get at a very reasonable price.
