It was my first time staying at StarCity Hotel, and overall, the experience went very well. The hotel feels well-maintained and not old or run-down. The room was clean, and the mattress was very comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest.
The staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was smooth and efficient, even though I arrived pretty late, which I really appreciated.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. The options were limited. The Ayam Bawang had already run out and was not refilled, even though it was only around 9:00 a.m., and the dim sum did not taste fresh. That said, the coffee was good, and the other food items were decent.
Overall, a pleasant stay with good service and clean, comfortable rooms. I would consider staying here again.From€34

The room was okay for two people but not very spacious. Amenities were very basic — towels, toothbrush, face towel, and facial tissue were not initially provided. I dont know but the towel was not prepared at check-in. After calling the receptionist, I was informed it would be ready at 4pm, but no towel was delivered even after that time. I had to call again, and only then was it sent immediately.
But, its a plus point, that the location is very strategic. The hotel is within walking distance to a mall and nearby convenience marts, which is very convenient.From€23

Traveling from Penang to Langkawi, I stayed at this hotel during a layover in Kedah. The bathroom was in poor condition; the underside of the toilet seat had black grime in the crevices.
The hotel's facilities are poorly maintained. The water heater broke while I was showering at night, so I had to make do with a cold shower. The front desk did offer to switch rooms, but it was too late, and I was too tired to bother. The room only had a thin blanket, about the same thickness as a bath towel, and no disposable slippers. Furthermore, the soundproofing in the room was terrible; I could clearly hear the sound of an electrical outlet from the neighboring room. There are plenty of food options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Sukiya, FamilyMart, and ZUS COFFEE, which is convenient for dining, but none of them accept WeChat Pay or Alipay.
I would advise avoiding this place.From€23

No sound proofing as can hear conversation and shower activities next door. Noisy at night with blasting music and singing from bars nearby.
Friendly and hardworking staff. Nice comfortable clean beds. Prepare for cold showers as it takes ages for warm water to come through or when used simultaneously by other rooms.
Nearby Shops are not open on Friday and Saturday and food only available in shopping centre about 1.5 km away.

The check in was smooth even very late at night. BB Motel is colocated with Bee Gladden Hotel. You check in at Bee Garden. BB Motel is a wing consisting of rooms with shared toilet.
The room was basic. A/C works ok. Wifi signal was weak inside my room. The traffic noise was not so bad after the shipping mall was closed.

This is the 3rd staying here. The hotel is clean and in good location. Many restaurants nearby and one shopping mall in walking distance. The room is small but enough for 1 or 2 person if you don't have big luggage. It is abit noisy from truck outside in early morning, other than that nothing to complain.From€17

A room with 2 single beds at a price that is not worth it. In the room there are no facilities for making drinks and ironing. The room is not that big. Need to climb a rather steep staircase to get to the room. Not suitable for the elderly. Had to park far from the hotel because that night there was a group at the cafe next door. Check in/out is quite fast.From€18
