Had a splendid 2 night stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
The staff made us feel so welcome. They are exceptionally polite and well informed on the surrounding area. We were provided with a map full of helpful suggestions, and a thorough introduction to the lodge and all it's facilities upon check-in.
The lodge is located right next to Hermanus New Harbour and a few steps from the cliff path, which is well worth the walk.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. It opens onto a beautiful, well maintained garden area but a few steps from the pool.
Breakfast was fantastic (reccommend the Full English!), and a lovely selection of breads, cereals, fruits, cold meats, yogurts etc at the buffet.
Truly, no complaints. Would absolutely stay again.From€89

The only downside is that they seem to have run out of hot water due to a big group staying there. Considering the price, not having hot water was not great, imo. Very homey, well-designed and well-maintained room. Spacious bed with mattress heater which was very helpful for the winter. Plus point for having two sinks.
The room didn't have air conditioner or heater but the very friendly host was so kind to provide us with a portable one.

The hotel is located conveniently only 5 mins from Ficks Pool and a short walk from the main shops. The hotel upgraded us to a balcony sea view room and we received complementary wine. The room was beautiful, very clean, with dstv and netflix services available. We also had a bathtub and a lovely balcony view. During load shedding the main lights remained on and the wifi was still active. The staff was also very kind and professional.From€103

Very big apartment. Everything is for a comfortable rest. Of the downsides personally for me: not very comfortable, I wouldn't like to live here long. And another nuance - on the balcony found a full ashtray from previous occupants when they went out to look at the pinch of whales!
