First impression of our apartment was WOW! Bed was huge and amazingly comfortable. However I had a lovely bath but when it emptied the bathroom sink filled up with disgusting foul smelling water. I just put the plug in when I had my next bath but that needs addressing. The reception staff were so lovely and good ambassadors for the apartments. We made an error in booking initially but it was amended by the staff but our room was not serviced at all during our 6 night stay?? But on the whole I would stay there again as it was nice and central for everything. Although i think I would park on the street again as $20 dollars per day was quite a lot to pay for parking in the small covered Apartments car park.

The Palms Apartments is located in a quiet area in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide and is one of the better apartment hotels in the city with spacious suites. There is plenty of parking in the street. There are a few good dining options nearby with Henry’s Bar & Eatery having good breakfast and brunch options and providing a special deal to hotel guests of The Palms Apartments. Pan & Vine pizzeria is next door. The group also operates The Osmond Motel & Apartments in Fullarton and can help to book a stay with them.

Reviews From Real Travelers
The hotel is conveniently located about 10 to 15 mins walk across parklands from East Terrace in the city which is where most of the popular restaurants and cafes are. During our stay, the preparation for the V8 car races was ongoing and many of the roads were blocked off. But finding a detour was easy enough. The hotel has limited onsite parking but there are plenty of spaces in the quiet residential streets behind the hotel. The hotel’s reception also manages the Econo Lodge Hotel which is located across the street and has its own parking. We only stayed for 1 night and did not get to try the restaurant onsite. The rooms layouts were not exactly rectangular but they were big enough to accommodate a king and a single bed and a pull out bed from under the single bed. A good and unusual feature was a power point built into the bed side cabjnet which works well for those with a need to use CPAP machines or for charging devices. There was a study/work table in the room that is useful for business travellers.

Modern apartment with great space, got everything you need. The apartment we’ve got has a nice view. For a smooth check in you’ll need to make sure you call the property as there is no reception.

It’s an excellent place to stay with friends or family — conveniently located with plenty of parking available. The overall experience was comfortable and good value for the money. However, the cleanliness could be improved a little to make the stay even better. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
