If you happen to be on business whilst travelling to Cairns why not use Cairns Gateway Resort as your base – just 12 minutes to the CBD. Plenty of off street parking and easy access to the rooms, why not take the opportunity to relax when the day is done in the lush surrounds of Cairns Gateway Resort. If you don't want to drive during your stay there is no problem with all local tours picking up from Reception. If exploring on the local public bus is your thing, it leaves from the nearest bus stop every half an hour (weekdays, hourly on weekends)

Although it is far from the city center, there are many playgrounds, including three pools, so elementary school students can play all day. You can cook your own meals in the room, so I grilled some Aussie beef steaks I bought at the supermarket on the gas stove in the facility and ate them. You can get to the city center by bus, so you don't need a taxi. I would like to visit again.

Before starting our trip to Cairns, Australia, we visited to satisfy our young sons' needs. The playground, swimming, and walking were all perfect. It's still one of my favorite places. I liked it even more than the Great Barrier Reef. It's a bit far and old, but I'd love to visit again.
