The front desk and the cleaning aunt were very polite, but they seemed to lack some professionalism. The facilities that the hotel could provide were not clearly stated. Every time they needed to go to the front desk to ask. The room is large, but there are beds, wardrobes, TVs and TV cabinets, tables and chairs. It feels suitable to sleep overnight, but if it is a travel room, it is a little inconvenient, and it is not convenient to want to heat things. There is no hot water bottle. The decoration is still possible, and the bathroom has unlimited hot water. The front desk did not take the initiative to remind us of the breakfast time and place, resulting in us staying for four days without breakfast. Maybe I am used to the hotel taking the initiative to remind guests of the meal. This time, no one told us, resulting in us looking at the bill to find that our consumption included breakfast. All in all, it is a renovation, hotel location, and basic overnight environment All good hotels, but still a lot of shortcomings worth improving.

Very pretty apartment in a great location close to the Acropolis. Also near to many restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets with views of the Acropolis. Nice courtyard space to hang out. Check in process was straightforward and an early check out provided. Only drawback was street noise and a weak shower.

Facilities: Although it's a long-established five-star hotel, the overall facilities are quite good. Environment: The location is extremely convenient, very close to the Acropolis, shopping streets, and Plaka, all within easy walking distance. There are also many restaurants nearby, including Asian restaurants and Asian supermarkets; the restaurants are packed on Friday nights. Service: The hotel service is excellent. Complimentary large water bottles in cardboard boxes are provided free of charge; the cardboard boxes look high-end and are environmentally friendly. The housekeeping is also very meticulous. I stayed here for two weeks and felt very welcome. The lobby is very spacious with plenty of sofas. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

However, there are a number of issues: 1. If you choose the cheapest room, there's almost no view, the window faces the hotel interior, and the room is noisy and musty. 2. The hotel's sheets are extremely dirty, perhaps due to the high customer traffic, which may have led to poor service. It's a bit underrated for a five-star rating. After our conversation, there was no apology, just a simple note – it's an option, but definitely not the best.

Kahvaltınin ücreti önceden ödendiği için 11 kişiye ayrı ayrı kahvaltı paketi hazırlayıp verdiler. Havaalanında yedik ve yumurtaya kadar koymuşlar. Mükemmeldi çok teşekkür ediyorum 🙏🏻

This hotel in Athens offers incredible value for money, especially compared to other European hotels where prices tend to be higher. It's conveniently located right next to a bus stop. Getting here from the airport by bus takes about an hour and costs around 5 euros, saving a lot on taxi fares. Plus, there are early morning bus services back to the airport. The rooms are a bit older but have all the essentials. The rooftop restaurant is a real highlight! We booked a small table in the evening, and the view of the Acropolis was absolutely stunning. From the other side, you can even spot the Olympic rings. This spot alone makes the hotel worth it. What's more, the food was surprisingly good. Towards the end of our month-long trip, we were craving something lighter and ordered the spinach salad, which was fresh and amazing. Sticking to lighter dishes kept the bill quite reasonable. There's a decent Chinese restaurant next door, right by the bus stop, which was a nice relief from local food. Just two blocks away is the bustling city center with tons of delicious food options. The kebabs even reminded me of my time in the UK!

Very nice check in staff. The young man who checked us in was very thorough and super help-full. The location is very good. You’re in the middle of everything but that also comes at the cost of noisy streets. Breakfast is okay but limited. The men attending the breakfast are very nice. Everyone was very nice overall. The people at reception would always greet you when you came in and would goodbye to you when you left. Noisy from the street but easily fixed with earplugs. Construction going on during weekdays. The elevators are not very efficient and if you wanted to take the stairs the smoke smell is very strong. Even with these negative parts, we would stay here again.

Booked this hotel for a friend, and they gave it excellent feedback. It's directly accessible from the airport by metro, and just a leisurely ten-minute walk from the subway station. There's a bus stop right downstairs, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are fully equipped. The front desk staff are very capable and speak good English. The breakfast provided by the hotel is quite good for European standards, and tastes great too.

Good location and good service.. we all 6 persons stayed at the hotel for 4 nights alternately. Our luggage stored at the hotels safety. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !

The 8th and 9th floors of the hotel, as well as the rooftop breakfast area (which is also the top floor), offer direct views of the Parthenon. Plus, the infinity pool on the rooftop is perfect for photos! Probably because there are so many guests (and many rooms), after calling the front desk, service takes a long time to arrive (sometimes I even had to directly ask a housekeeper in the hallway for what I needed). The room facilities are quite old. Around noon, the front desk gets swamped with guests checking out. On another note, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the old town every hour on the dot.
