I chose this hotel, which I'd been eyeing for a while, for our trip to Mount Qingcheng with my daughters, and it was an excellent choice! Our butler, Yannie, was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She added us on WeChat, which made communication incredibly convenient. Yannie personally showed us to our room and gave us a detailed orientation. She was always very prompt in responding to any needs we had during our stay – everything was perfect! The hotel has a Plaza Bar and a Moonlight Bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink, as well as a charming farm that you can visit and explore anytime. You can even exchange copper coins for ice cream! The hotel's location is also superb, very close to all the scenic spots, making getting around incredibly easy. It was a truly therapeutic and relaxing trip!

Booked this hotel because the only hotel have personal hot spring. When check in the staff informed us that they unable to give us the room as need 1 day to prepared the hot spring water. End up we have no choice but to take the normal room which very disappointed as normal room doesn’t have personal hot spring. If we have been informed earlier I would not pick this hotel at all pay 5 star price for this kind of hotel with no hot spring water. Their service is 1 star despite 5 star hotel. The management need to improve the service else there will not have returned customers. Not really cater for those disabled and with kids stroller as you have to push them up which is quite tiring. Some part need to carry up via the staircase.

Staying at this hotel reminds me that someplaces away from home can become home. The attention and hospitality of Upper House is the kindest and warmest that I have experienced. The staff is always warm and friendly, you have your own concierge to help you with small errands or unique asks, it makes the experience feel truly crafted! Cassidy ” sleepy potato” an intern for this gem of a hotel absolutely deserves a position and a promotion for her knowledge and warmth. Her joy and kindness alone makes we want to return soon, just to feel that Upper House warmth once more. From a hot bath to a cool shower I was adorned in the indulgence of relaxation and pure tranquility earned after long walks and sore feet. The blend of Traditional Chinese history and Mondern architecture, is a feast for the eyes as a former designer!

The environment is pleasant, with a mystical and ethereal ambiance, and the hot springs are great. I didn't try the spring moss dishes; the menu didn't really entice me. Some of the facilities are decent, while others are questionable. The room had central air conditioning, a standing air conditioner, and a radiator. While heating was guaranteed and thoughtful, none of them actually kept the room warm. Considering this is a Six Senses property with prices similar to Songtsam, the service falls far short in comparison. Although Relais & Châteaux isn't solely known for its hotels, the restaurant was too casual, too cold, and the food was just so-so. It's surprising that there's no designated smoking area in the public spaces, which seems unrelated to their brand philosophy. Overall, the environment is good, but the service team is lacking, leading to a subpar overall experience. It could have been much better.

Chengdu was our first stop on the way to Lhasa. This hotel was great! Although its location is a bit off the beaten path, it offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended! I visited during the holiday, and it certainly didn't disappoint. I particularly loved the ambiance, and the service was top-notch. All in all, I was very satisfied! I've discovered another fantastic place! I chose this one based on reviews, and everything from the dining to the drinks was absolutely satisfying – truly excellent! The decor is very tasteful, the establishment is easy to find, parking is convenient, and transportation is very accessible. All these points are a definite plus!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was completely satisfied with my stay! The hotel is in a very quiet location, perfect for relaxing. The food was excellent – a great variety and everything was fresh and delicious. The room was outstanding, very comfortable, and a fresh fruit plate was provided every day – such a thoughtful touch. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and I truly felt welcome. I can highly recommend this hotel!

Our room type came with a private hot spring bath, and after a tiring day of sightseeing, it was incredibly relaxing to come back and soak in it. The villa was elegantly designed and even featured a mahjong table, which was a huge plus! The beautifully arranged greenery in our private courtyard was a delight to the eyes, and the entire hotel grounds were lush with dense, beautiful plants. My friend and I kept remarking on the lovely osmanthus scent; it was incredibly fragrant as we walked around. A Hanfu photography studio partners with the hotel and is conveniently located on-site. They even offered three complimentary photos, which added a fun and unique element to our trip. The absolute highlight was our butler, Leo. He was incredibly responsive, thoughtful, had an excellent attitude and personality, and was exceptional at resolving any issues. I can't recommend him enough!

Thanks to Shirley for the room upgrade! This is our second time staying at the Sofitel Haichuanwan Hot Spring Hotel. The hot springs are genuinely natural, and I was surprised to find such a great spot located in Jintang County. The hardware facilities are excellent, and there's parking right at the entrance, which is very convenient. Even though it wasn't crowded on a weekday, the breakfast spread was very generous. There were so many toppings for the rice noodles and regular noodles, including pork liver, beef, diced rabbit, and ginger duck for the meat options. There was also a wide selection of iced coffee, other cold drinks, and fruit and vegetable juices. The staff were all very attentive and polite – truly a five-star hotel experience. The overall hotel environment is beautiful; taking a walk around the grounds is an absolute pleasure.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, which is strategically located right in the heart of Chengdu. The convenience is unbeatable, and having a cozy bar just downstairs makes it perfect for unwinding after a long day. The overall environment is calm, relaxed, and beautifully designed. The hotel staff truly impressed me with their friendliness and attention to detail. They helped us collect multiple Taobao parcels without any delay, and even acknowledged that we were travelling as a family by providing an additional complimentary breakfast such a thoughtful gesture. A special highlight was meeting 黃芪, the owner’s adorable dog, who made our stay even more memorable. Every corner of this hotel is incredibly Instagrammable, creating a perfect blend of comfort and aesthetic pleasure. Without a doubt, I’ll choose this hotel again when I return to Chengdu.

Our stay at the Waldorf Astoria truly embodied the 'True Waldorf Service' from the moment we stepped in. Located in the heart of the Financial City, it's right next to the Tianfu Twin Towers and Jiaozi Park, with the Intime in99 shopping mall downstairs and Chengdu SKP within walking distance. This makes it incredibly convenient for both shopping sprees and sightseeing. A 20-minute taxi ride gets you to Chunxi Road, so the location is absolutely perfect. We booked a Twin Towers view room, and the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered panoramic city skyline views. We could even enjoy the Twin Towers light show from bed at night, which really enhanced the atmosphere. The room was spacious and airy, and the bathroom, with its separate wet and dry areas, was equipped with full-sized Aesop toiletries, saving us some packing space. We'll definitely be back to stay here on our next trip to Chengdu.
