Wow, I had a fantastic stay at the four seasons in HK. The arrival greeting, checking and personnel who greeted us were all fantastic. This was our final stay after 7 weeks away and I couldn’t ask for a better and more glorious end to our trip.. The room was perfect, a perfect harbour view, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, and that’s coming from a chronic insomniac, and the attention to detail was phenomenal. The blackout blinds, the quietness in the room, the level of cleanliness, no detail was overlooked. I can’t praise you highly enough. I actually missed our first night booked due to a time change error and that was a shame as I would’ve valued another night sleeping in those comfortable beds. Will I be staying at four seasons again, absolutely, can’t wait. Btw where can I get that bed for my home? More organisations could learn from your level of custom care and service.  Nancy

The room is beautiful, with a stunning view, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. It truly lives up to its reputation as the world's top hotel. The breakfast spread is also very rich and diverse; slowly enjoying breakfast while overlooking Victoria Harbour is such a peaceful and wonderful experience!

The Hong Kong Mandarin Oriental Hotel, located at 5 Connaught Road Central in Hong Kong, boasts an excellent location with stunning views of Victoria Harbour (telescopes provided!) and is conveniently close to the MTR station. It underwent a $140 million renovation in 2006. As a five-star hotel, the rooms are clean, tidy, and exude a classic, cultured ambiance. The facilities are comprehensive, and the shower works wonderfully! The service is incredibly thoughtful; they even surprised me with a birthday cake and well wishes! What a delightful surprise!

Mandarin Oriental's turndown service is a hit with the kids, complete with a stuffed animal and special children's bedding. Even though we arrived late, we still caught the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Statue Square, and my little one was glued to the window watching it for ages. It's an older hotel, so it might not be as grand as some, but the service is impeccable, and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's always our top choice when bringing the kids to Hong Kong.

The location is quite secluded, up in the mountains. Getting around means relying on the scheduled shuttle bus, which is the most convenient option. The environment itself is rather pleasant. I'd say it's more suitable for Hong Kong locals seeking a weekend staycation than for general tourists. During our stay, we experienced a Black Rainstorm Warning, which meant the shuttle service was suspended, and we had no choice but to take a taxi to get out. To add to that, my child developed a high fever. I inquired at the front desk and was told there were no private hospitals nearby where we could seek medical attention. Our only option was a public hospital, about a 10-minute taxi ride away. This experience gave me a firsthand look at the inefficiency and poor service attitude within Hong Kong's public healthcare system. The consultation fee alone was HKD 1230. Thankfully, the prescribed fever medication eventually brought my child's fever down. Honestly, after all this, I have no desire to visit Hong Kong again.

The hotel boasts a beautiful setting, with attentive front desk service. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the facilities are comprehensive, including an excellent gym and pool. A particular highlight is the extremely convenient complimentary shuttle service from the hotel to the Airport Express Hong Kong Station. Highly recommended!

I almost always stay here when I'm on business trips to Hong Kong. The ladies at check-in even recognize me now, and it always feels so welcoming when I go! No major issues, though some of the electrical appliances are a bit old, and some rooms can have a bit of noise. I'm sensitive to noise, but they always manage to sort it out for me. If only they'd update the in-room dining menu, I'm getting tired of it! 😂 The coffee and tea are both excellent, and the location is super convenient. I'd still highly recommend it!

For many years, when I traveled to Hong Kong for business, The Upper House was my go-to choice. Coming back after a 5-year hiatus, I feel even more warmly welcomed. The service goes far beyond 5 stars, from check-in to various housekeeping and dining services, it's all textbook-level excellent! Every area of the hotel is also very clean; I didn't see any stains anywhere. Highly, highly recommended!

Room type - Grand harbour one plus Good location, very convenient for shopping and dinning to arrive just a minute using hotel lift. Great variety choices of restaurants from food court to fine dining at K11 Musea. Hotel guests can even taking a relaxing walk and running along Victoria harbour view. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, staff Ken Chui & Jimmy made me feel welcomed and valued, especially Ken sent me handwritten welcome notes, warm gift & thanks for his giving detailed information on my modification request of upgrading room. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, housekeeping & dinning staff, Hotel team's dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience truly made my visit memorable. Thank you for going above and beyond. I look forward to my next stay!

The environment, facilities, service, and location are all excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the sea view from the ocean-facing rooms is absolutely stunning. For first-time visitors, please note that the hotel has two front desks, both requiring an elevator ride to the 10th floor before you can access your room's floor.

The overall hotel environment is great and very quiet. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both Exhibition Centre Station and Wan Chai Station. You can even use the skybridge directly, so no worries about rainy weather. If you want to go to Tsim Sha Tsui, you can take the Star Ferry, as it's very close to the pier. The hotel's breakfast is fantastic; it's à la carte, with Chinese, Western, and Japanese options, plus some additional items you can order. Personally, I find this more convenient than a buffet. I highly recommend the Japanese salmon set! The in-room dining menu is also excellent. The room is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel, with two 1.5-meter single beds, making it family-friendly when traveling with kids. The hotel also provides unlimited complimentary drinks and snacks daily, which is a huge plus! They can even provide milk for children. Overall, it's pretty good, but there's room for improvement in the details. I had requested baby amenities and a cot in advance, but when we got to the room, none of them were prepared. The cot installation afterward wasn't professional either; the bars weren't secured into the mattress, and the bedding wasn't neatly arranged, with the mattress and bed frame showing, which wasn't a very pleasant sight.

The St. Regis has yet to disappoint, especially when it comes to breakfast – it's absolutely fantastic! 👍 My wife and I were here for a business trip (it's perfect for a getaway without kids). At this caliber, the facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service are all top-notch. (One small suggestion: perhaps a heads-up about the room's fragrance. Not all guests appreciate it, but it could be moved to a cupboard.) The service from all departments was excellent, especially the concierge. We were going for dinner a short distance away and couldn't find a taxi, so they arranged a hotel car for us. When we returned, they warmly greeted us and asked about our dining experience, which was very thoughtful. ❤️

We encountered a typhoon, and the previous hotel was fully booked, so we made a last-minute reservation at The Peninsula. Since it wasn't booked through their official website, we couldn't check in early. Service: Throughout our stay, there was always someone available to assist us. Ordering room service was also very convenient, and I highly recommend the Chinese food. Environment: It's very close to the subway, and you can even walk to K11 underground (so no worries about sun or rain). To get to the airport, you can take the A21 or A25 from K11.

The Peninsula is definitely worth staying at again and again. My last visit was during the Chinese New Year in 2024, and this time the front desk specifically asked if I was okay with staying in the same room as before. That was very thoughtful. The service is professional: they're there when you need them, and they won't disturb you when you don't.

Seriously unbeatable value for money! The complimentary HKD 800 dining credit was enough for a meal for both rooms, and surprisingly, the food was delicious and affordable. All the breakfast items are made to order, and the service was impeccable. There aren't many shops downstairs, so for meals, you either walk 10-15 minutes to the south side of Central, or walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, which also takes about 10 minutes – still quite convenient. The Peak Tram entrance is right outside. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. After staying two nights here, moving to the Sheraton in Tsim Sha Tsui felt like going to a village.
- _M1589060****
The room was very clean and quite spacious for Hong Kong. An extra bed could be added. Hotel breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 1:30 PM, and the executive lounge is open from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM. In the afternoon, they offer refreshments, and in the evening, they serve hot snacks like mini burgers and chicken nuggets. If you book a package with breakfast and executive lounge access, you won't need to go out for meals all day.

It was incredibly convenient to get to the hotel right after taking the high-speed train from Kowloon! As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I was offered two cups of hot tea, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. The girl who checked me in was professional, patient, and had a wonderful smile; she even proactively upgraded my room. The moment I entered the room and saw the Victoria Harbour view, it felt completely worth the price! The room was impeccably clean – even the ceiling air vents were free of dust and spiderwebs, with no overlooked corners. I had initially worried about the hotel being old given its age, but that concern was totally unfounded. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and enjoying it with the sea view was delightful! When checking out, I had a 4 PM high-speed train and thought it would be perfect if I could extend check-out until after 2 PM. This would allow me to go to Central in the morning, return for an afternoon nap, and then not have to rush back from Central to catch the train. After checking out at 2 PM, I could just stroll downstairs and head to the high-speed train station, making for a smoother route without backtracking. Unfortunately, the guy at the front desk wasn't as accommodating; after much discussion, he reluctantly extended check-out only until 1 PM. That was a bit of a disappointment. However, apart from that, the overall experience was still great and exceeded my expectations. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again.
- Xiaobaiyezi
This was my second stay at this hotel in December, and both times the service attitude was really subpar. When checking in, the front desk staff gave me a snarky attitude because of a card issue. Some hotel staff members become very resistant and pretend not to understand once they hear you speaking Chinese. I ordered afternoon tea in the lounge area of my 116th-floor suite, and it didn't arrive for over an hour because the staff forgot about it. Also, the lobby staff at a five-star hotel couldn't even speak Chinese! During my first stay here in August, I checked out at 1 PM. At 3 PM, I remembered I had left an envelope with money and a pair of Chanel jeans in the room. After I insisted, the front desk accompanied me back to the room to look. The two housekeeping staff members had already put my forgotten envelope and Chanel jeans into a bag. It's unbelievable that they found a guest's forgotten items and didn't notify the front desk or the guest.

I used to stay here every time I visited over a decade ago. Now, the facilities are noticeably a bit old. The room I stayed in this time had a slight musty smell when I walked in, but it was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The location, however, is absolutely unbeatable. The Star Ferry is right downstairs, and it only takes a few minutes to walk back to the room after dinner at Harbour City. The observation deck on the 6th floor offers a panoramic view of Victoria Harbour – it’s truly stunning!

The hotel is conveniently located near both Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stations, with easy walking access to the Star Ferry, Avenue of Stars, and Harbour City. There are also plenty of dining options nearby; I tried out Mrs. Tang Cafe and Yung Kee Restaurant's roasted goose with dried tangerine peel, among others. The room comes with a water dispenser, a 3-in-1 charging cable, and a universal adapter. The bed is large enough for a family of three. The hotel also has a bakery famous for its palmiers and Napoleon cakes, and guests get an 8.5% discount. A deposit is required, but Alipay and WeChat aren't accepted. I opted for a physical credit card authorization via UnionPay, and the staff advised it would speed up the refund process. For my return trip, I took the A21 airport bus from near the hotel, which was very convenient; I waited about 15 minutes, and it took roughly an hour to reach the airport.

I booked an open-plan king-size room. Due to the room layout, these rooms are all located at the very end of each floor, with an elevator behind the wall. You can hear a bit of elevator noise (like a plane flying by), but after 10 PM, fewer people are going up and down, so it's not a big deal – just minor issues. The room was huge with fantastic views, and you could see the sea. They provided free toothbrushes and toothpaste, and even a universal adapter, which was a very thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were also very polite and spoke Chinese, helping me with check-in without any differentiation between mainland and foreign guests. Since I had paid for the room in advance through Ctrip, no deposit was required at check-in. The cleaning lady was also very meticulous; she always left the room spotlessly clean and even tidied up my belongings, which was very nice. Overall, my 3-day stay was very satisfying. Both the service and the room itself deserve a big thumbs-up.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel Kowloon and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — conveniently situated with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and surrounded by a variety of restaurants, making it easy to explore the area and find dining options. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, as I noticed a stray hair that appeared to have been left from a previous guest. I believe this is an area where the housekeeping standards could be improved to ensure a more consistent level of cleanliness. Despite this minor issue, my stay was generally enjoyable, and I appreciated the convenience and comfort the hotel provided. With slight improvements in cleanliness, this hotel would be an even better choice for travelers seeking comfort and accessibility in Kowloon.

The room was fantastic! I originally booked this hotel because of its proximity to my destination, and when I was choosing a room, I saw options for both new and old rooms. I decisively went for a newly renovated one, even though it was a bit pricier. Thankfully, I booked in advance, so the discounted price was still good. Before checking in, I read some reviews saying the rooms were old and the facilities mediocre, which made me quite worried. But when I got to the room, I was completely blown away! The hotel tried its best to accommodate my requests, and the service was excellent. The room was so clean and bright, and there was absolutely no strange odor from the renovation, making me feel incredibly comfortable the moment I stepped inside. The space in the room was cleverly utilized, with a bench, chairs, and a long table. The two 1-meter single beds were larger than I expected and very comfortable! As for chargers, the hotel provides travel adapters, and there's a Chinese-style socket in the bathroom. Plus, there's magnetic charging on the bedside table – super thoughtful! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel is surrounded by eateries, convenience stores, Lung Heung Lau (Lotus Seed Paste Buns), Japanese ramen shops, Lung Fung Pharmacy, souvenir shops, bookstores, Cafe de Coral, BBQ meat shops, etc. There's also The ONE shopping mall nearby, which covers all your needs. The hotel is only a few hundred meters from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit B2, just a few minutes' walk – very convenient. From Austin Station (West Kowloon), it's just one stop to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, then you can walk within the station for 13 minutes to Tsim Sha Tsui Exit B, which is quick and easy! I absolutely loved and was satisfied with this booking and stay experience... I'll definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends. Thanks to the hotel staff for the wonderful service during our trip to Hong Kong.

Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong|2.11km from city center
The room was tiny, with two 0.9m beds crammed together in a standard double, which was clearly just a designated tour group hotel. The rooms are separated by partitions, and the soundproofing was absolutely horrendous. I could hear toilets flushing right by my head while lying in bed, and even faint coughs from the next room were crystal clear. What really got my heart racing was the trembling noise from the four elevator doors, like an earthquake, making me instantly feel terrified. For a hotel ranked 6th among luxury hotels in Hong Kong, this must have been hyped up by Trip.com. The hotel doesn't even provide free bottled water or toiletries. When I called the front desk to ask for water, they only sent one bottle and a pink slip asking for a good review. I had two separate bookings at this hotel; one was for a continuous two-night stay, totaling four nights. Due to the significant room noise, falling asleep was incredibly difficult. I only managed to fall asleep around 2 AM, and by 5-6 AM the next day, noise from other guests chatting started. After the first night, I contacted Trip.com to complain, but they ruthlessly rejected my request. I had to endure four miserable nights, getting only 3-4 hours of sleep each night. During the day, I felt completely dazed and on the verge of a breakdown. For such a poorly maintained hotel, the room rates were also extremely high. The first two nights averaged over 1600 RMB per night including breakfast, and even the breakfast was terrible. The last two nights averaged over 1200 RMB per night, and that didn't even include breakfast. I will never trust Trip.com's hotel ratings again. This was an absolutely disastrous booking, and I'm giving both the hotel and Trip.com a massive bad review.

The rooftop offers great views and is very refreshing; just make sure to check the opening hours. The view from the 27th-floor window was just okay. The room was quite compact, barely enough space for bags. Luggage would probably only fit open in the hallway by the door. It had all the essentials (mini-fridge, hairdryer, safe), but the disposable slippers were too thin. Also, the tissue box only had a few tissues left and then ran out – I didn't check it beforehand, so we couldn't use any. The towels were very clean, and although the bed wasn't huge, it was quite comfortable to sleep in (maybe I was just tired!). The service was excellent and made me feel very comfortable.

It’s not quiet room, always heard the sound once the other guests walking by, dragging their bags, chatting, or even while the housekeeper is cleaning because there is a gap between the door and the floor, the air purifier smells of cigarette smoke although there is a message no smoking there is the and there is no free water. The advantage is the good location and the housekeepers are friendly.

Had a fantastic stay! The hotel is conveniently located right next to the subway station. Check-in was quick and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices. Excellent value for money, I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Stayed one night at the Alva Hotel, and overall it was quite good, definitely recommend it. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was just right—neither too soft nor too hard. I have to praise the shower; the water pressure was excellent, making for a really refreshing wash, and the hot water came on quickly. Felt completely re-energized afterwards. The location is decent; it's about a seven or eight-minute walk to the subway station. Not super close, but acceptable, and a nice little stroll. The biggest plus was the concierge staff, who were genuinely enthusiastic. When I arrived, I realized I'd left my wallet on the bus. They helped me call the bus terminal and guided me through the next steps with such a great attitude. It felt very thoughtful and thorough. Summary: A comfortable and reassuring stay. The room size was quite generous, perfectly adequate for two people plus luggage. The service was attentive, and it offered great value for money.
