A fantastic hotel 🥹 This is my first truly heartfelt review. It's very close to the train station, a 10-minute walk. Although it's a bit far from the main street, the surrounding area is very quiet, and we slept very well. There's a beautiful park nearby, not crowded, and it's perfect for taking photos when it snows; you can even see a group of adorable dogs at night. The room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. We needed to catch an early flight when we checked out, so we asked the hotel in advance and they prepared a lunchbox. The sandwiches were quite good, and the buffet breakfast was typical white food—the taste was okay, but the desserts were a bit too sweet for Chinese tastes. The coffee was excellent. It happened to be my birthday when I checked in, and the hotel prepared a birthday surprise for me. They gave me a birthday cake with breakfast, and when I returned, I found a birthday letter and chocolates! A very warm and welcoming hotel 🥹 P.S. It would be even better if they could offer to help with luggage; my luggage was too big to carry.

The room has no air conditioning (no problem in winter, it is quite strange to live in an old house with such a good seal in August without air conditioning) St. Petersburg is still proud of their bones to be not so nice to the Chinese, of course, it is possible that the Chinese people in the past did not impress them well! Since we had to fly from St. Petersburg Airport to Murmansk the next day, we chose this hotel near the airport. The local airport is basically in Russian. I found the hotel I booked with Yandex Map. It is very close. It is 100 meters away from Terminal 1 and across the road. The overall layout is a bit economical and simple, but the hygiene and comfort are OK. Because it is close to the airport, it is still a bit noisy. It is recommended to bring earplugs to protect your eyes and ensure that the 5-hour time difference can be reversed. There is no place to apply for a bank card at St. Petersburg Airport. You can find a convenience store to buy something to change it. We just exchanged a lot of large 5,000 yuan in cash for change.
