I cannot imagine what the few nay-sayers here expect for £65 per night, including breakfast. This is a clean, comfortable, modern hotel with friendly, welcoming staff. Parking is easy. The rooms are well-equipped and a wide range of toiletries are provided, free of charge, if needed. The rooms are air conditioned and secure. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily. The location is quiet at night and the curtains are blackout. I slept well. The bar is well stocked and there is plenty of room. The breakfast buffet, has fruit, porridge, innumerable cereals, toast, fruit compote, yoghurt, muffins, croissants, hot bacon, beans, sausages and scrambled eggs. The hot food was well prepared. There is a range of tea, coffee and fruit juice. There is plenty of seating and the tables are cleaned and sanitised throughout. There is a large, accommodating, reasonably-priced pub next door with a good menu for evening meals. In all I would recommend this hotel.

Recently stayed for two nights at this hotel, Reception staff were welcoming and friendly however it went all down hill from there, bar staff were neither engaging or polite and needed training on manners , customer service and products !! It was difficult to distinguish who the staff actually were as no uniforms and appearance wasn’t their best attribute . Glasses used for the drinks were used randomly and not appropriate for the actual drink poured and service was some what slow unless you knew them !
