Hosts - Nuwat & his mum are nice and friendly.
They accommodated to my later check-in time when my arrival time was delayed. My room was already prepared upon my arrival with the air-con turned on.
The house is well equipped with all amenities which one can asked for and they have 3 lovely pet dogs.
Location of their place is near Huai Kwang station which is convenient to everywhere and there is also bus stops nearby for easy access.
A lot of food stalls and restaurants within walking distance and the area is filled with Chinese restaurants which can cater to Chinese tourists.
Overall, it was a great experience staying in Nuwat’s place and is highly recommended for those who would like to experience staying in a local Thai-style homestay.

The hotel enters the alley, dark enough, the parking lot in front of the hotel, so the soil is very dirty, the room is not equipped with a few amenities, no toothbrush and toothbrush.
The staff didn't know how to book through trip, so there was an extra deposit.

Siam Bangkok|2.01km from city center
The hotel's location is super convenient for foodies, just a 5-7 minute walk from Chulalongkorn University's food street. There's a Lawson downstairs and a 7/11 next door where you can grab face masks and other toiletries.
They take a 1000 THB deposit at check-in, which you'll get back after check-out if everything's fine. Don't forget to keep your receipt!
The hotel offers a shuttle service, and there's a timetable by the entrance, but I didn't get to use it this time.
The lobby is quite spacious with a lounge area and a coffee shop/restaurant, all on the ground floor.
There's a decent-sized pool in the center of the hotel, which I could see from my room, but again, no time to use it.
Speaking of the room, they actually listened to my request and gave me a quiet room away from the elevators and facing inwards. It had two 1.5-meter beds. The mattresses were okay in terms of comfort and quality; one of them was pretty saggy. But since we were only staying for three nights and walked a lot every day, we just crashed as soon as we lay down, so it didn't really affect our sleep.
The room itself was quite spacious, which is a plus if you have a lot of luggage.
When we asked for extra hangers, they gave us five different ones, which makes me think their inventory could use some improvement.
There's a separate vanity area, which is great for ladies.
Be careful in the bathroom – there's a slight slope, so watch out for slips. Also, if you have long legs, the toilet might feel a bit low.
Overall, the room felt a bit dated. It seems like many hotels in Bangkok aren't exactly brand new. If you're a stickler for details, it might not be perfect.
The room came with a mini-fridge, a safe, a kettle, and a hairdryer.
I booked this trip in January, and the room rate was around 250+ RMB without breakfast (which I didn't need). I thought it was a pretty good deal. I'm not too bothered by small details as long as I have what I need. There were no strange smells, the AC worked fine, the room was big enough, hot and cold water were consistent, and the kettle was clean with no limescale. The water quality seemed fine too. So, I'd say it's acceptable.
One important thing to consider about the location is that it's quite a distance from BTS or MRT stations, so you'll likely need to take a taxi. Travelers looking to save on transportation costs should plan their travel times and routes carefully, otherwise, you'll be doing a lot of walking.FromTRY 1,621

Silom/Sathon Bangkok|0.28km from city center
My last stop in Thailand was Bangkok, and considering my travel goals, I chose the Pullman Bangkok Hotel G on Silom Road.
The hotel is located on the bustling Silom Road, which was perfect for a shopaholic like me. It's only about a 5-minute walk to Chong Nonsi BTS Skytrain Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. The Mahanakhon Tower is also within walking distance. There's a 7-Eleven about 100 meters away, but you have to cross the road to get to it.
Dragging my luggage into the lobby, my first impression was its strong design aesthetic; the stylish decor was quite eye-catching. The welcome drink offered during check-in was a thoughtful touch, instantly easing my travel fatigue. Check-in was very quick, but there were peak period queues on later days of my vacation.
I had a room with a floor-to-ceiling window, offering a great view. Lower floors feature dark wood flooring with brown decor. If you prefer lighter colors, opt for the white-themed high-floor rooms shown on the hotel's homepage. The bedding was very comfortable, but the hangers were fixed and couldn't be removed. Initially, there were only 2 bottles of water, but when I asked the staff, they readily provided 4.
The breakfast was a buffet with a good variety of Thai and Western options. However, it gets incredibly crowded! Waiting for a table during peak hours was common, and the serving area felt a bit cramped. On the plus side, there was an à la carte menu where you could order personalized egg dishes, and the service was prompt and attentive.
· **Swimming Pool**: This was my favorite spot. You can swim outdoors directly facing the Mahanakhon Tower – the view is fantastic and perfect for photos.
· **Gym**: It's open 24 hours, but the equipment is quite basic, almost rudimentary. It's only suitable for simple cardio or strength training.
· **Library and Lounge**: Mostly used for photo opportunities; there were hardly any guests using it.
In the evening, I visited Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant on the 37th floor, which was definitely the hotel's 'highlight'. This place is recommended by the Michelin Guide and has an amazing ambiance. The best part is that the prices are very reasonable. As a Bangkok sky bar and Michelin-recommended French restaurant, you can check it out with a minimum spend of just 90 baht for sparkling water or 210 baht for a cocktail. The French desserts are authentic, priced around 440 baht. French main courses are only about 1,000-2,000 baht per person. Reservations are needed, and it's open from 4 PM to midnight on weekends.
Sitting there, you can take in the panoramic Bangkok city skyline and the Chao Phraya River night view, with the Mahanakhon Tower brightly lit across the way – very romantic. The wine list is extensive and professional, with over 150 wines to choose from. If you're coming around sunset, I highly recommend booking an outdoor table in advance. Enjoying a drink with the evening breeze is the perfect way to experience Bangkok.FromTRY 4,174

Need bout 10 min walks from BTS Thing Lor station. The good part is you can contact hotel for tuk tuk pick up service (every 30 min). This is the best part of this stay. Can order Thai tea during breakfast and is nice. 5 min walk to nearest 7-11 and there are local food stall in front the 7-11 too.FromTRY 2,750

The hotel is a bit old and the decor is quite dated. They upgraded me to a suite, but the bed was still on the small side. This area seems to be a gathering place for Chinese people, probably around 70% Chinese guests. The breakfast selection was decent, and it's very close to Asiatique The Riverfront, about a 700-meter walk. I found a massage place nearby that offered foot massages for possibly the lowest price in Bangkok, 150B an hour. Overall, the hotel felt just okay.FromTRY 3,306

This hotel offers great value for money. It's very centrally located, making it convenient to get anywhere. Although the decor is a bit dated, the hotel is very well-maintained and quite spacious. I booked a room in Building B (the apartment building), and it was a bit of a walk from the main lobby. The room itself was a one-bedroom suite and also very large, with a 180-degree panoramic window. The sky bar and restaurant had fantastic views, which was a pleasant surprise. My only minor complaint is that some of the signage could be clearer. For instance, guests staying in Building B who take the elevator down and press the 11th floor button will end up in a dark, old lobby. You actually need to press the 10th floor button for the regular entrance.FromTRY 1,921

When i arrived in the room, everything was clean. But safe box wasnt working i had to notify receptionist to fix and their engineer came to the rescue this was at 2am. I also turned on the TV, all channels didnt have signal so i notifed the engineer/staff while he was fixing the safe box, he just unplugged and plug it back in, it worked. And another one is the phone, wanted to call my friend from the other room and noticed phone wasnt working. So i checked the lines. And the telephone line wasn’t plugged all the way. All were easy fix but i expect a hotel to have most things working properly. Wouldnt come back for me. But i think its good for certain people.FromTRY 2,419

The environment and hygiene are both excellent. The hallways are quiet, and it's within walking distance to 7-Eleven and Chulalongkorn University Night Market. Although the hotel is older, the lobby and facilities are very well-maintained. The front desk staff are welcoming; there are steps leading from the entrance to the front desk, but they proactively offer to store your luggage. After checking in, there's an elevator below the stairs that takes you directly up to the rooms. The price is also very reasonable. Highly recommend!FromTRY 2,419

Vince Hotel is really a good choice to stay in Bangkok!👌🏼 Once you arrive, the front desk was really nice assisting us, explained every details that we need without asking. They provided complimentary popcorn and iced tea 24/7 in the reception area, and ai really liked it. They provided excellence free amenities, like buggy service where they will send you to the places near area for free and will pick you up also once your done and it’s available for 24 hours. They are also providing free breakfast buffet and supper. Breakfast was really great everyday!🙌🏻 The pool and the view was also great with free drinks also but we haven’t tried it because we are also full. Hahaha! Easy checkout also!👌🏼I will definitely recommend Vince Hotel!🙌🏻💯🙌🏻FromTRY 2,655

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is very nice. The location is convenient to the BTS and on the main street.
Some cons:
- Some rooms are noisy because they face the road. I asked to change and the staff was very accommodating.
- The pool and gym are very small. There are only two lounge chairs so it's almost impossible to get one. The pool is nice though.
- The cleanliness is very good but not perfect. The towels need an urgent upgrade and the windows in the pool need to be cleaned.
Overall, I'd stay here again though.FromTRY 2,419

I'd highly recommend requesting a non-smoking room. Since there's no balcony and the windows don't open, if the previous guest smoked, the smell will linger and be very strong. We switched to a non-smoking room and it was much better.
The pool is a decent size, and having showers right by the pool is a nice touch.
The gym is excellent! I work out regularly, and while it's not huge, it has a full range of equipment – much better than I expected.
There are lots of bars downstairs, but my room wasn't noisy at all. The soundproofing is pretty good.
There are several 7-Elevens nearby, and the BTS station is about a 5-minute walk. Taking the metro is convenient, avoids traffic, and is affordable.
The hotel room was very comfortable, and the breakfast gets a thumbs up – lots of variety and a pleasant environment.
Definitely recommend this place.FromTRY 3,720

Very solid stay at the Galleria. It's about a 300m walk to the main road from the hotel and and it's a bit of a dark walk. I did not feel in any danger and other hotels are dotted long the road so usually there were other travelers making the walk too. Very cool Night Market just at the main road with food, vendors and entertainment which was great. Pool was good.. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel had promotions for happy hour deals on drinks posted in the room and elevators etc. but there was no actual bar. And when I asked about drinks they didn't have any. Very strange.
