I really like this hotel. From the moment I parked my car, there were staff members helping to guide and confirm the parking space, accommodation name and country of the traveler. They also helped with the luggage. When I checked in, there was a staff member who could speak Chinese to help confirm (seemed to be *********). There were many staff members who seemed to have different nationalities. When I went in to confirm the reservation, they also gave me matcha and snacks. We booked the Hongye room on the first floor. The room was great and had its own hot spring, so I didn't have to go to the public hot spring. I could soak in it 24 hours a day. There was hot spring water circulating so I could soak in it whenever I woke up. The hotel has two hot spring houses that can be reserved, 40 minutes each time, and each room can make one reservation. The public bath is available at any time without reservation. However, since I have my own hot spring, I didn't go to the public bath or the hot spring house, so I don't know how it works. In addition, I have my own private room for dining and I have to write my name. It feels very noble (but it seems that only some room types have private rooms). Dinner was great, every dish was delicious (except dessert XD), the appetizers were exquisite and delicious, the sashimi was also very sweet, I thought the grilled fish would have a lot of bones, but it was not separated well, and finally we had the red beef shabu-shabu, the meat was tender and the soup was sweet. Breakfast is a large grilled salmon set with salad and hot spring tofu. There is also a self-service beverage bar and natto seaweed desserts outside. There is also all-you-can-drink Aso milk. Remember not to buy it here, just drink it for breakfast XD. The overall stay was great, the staff were friendly, I strongly recommend booking a room with one night and two meals and a hot spring, it's not much different, the hot spring and dinner are worth it. I regret not leaving more time to enjoy this hotel because my schedule was too full. Next time I come to Aso, I will definitely come again and leave more time to enjoy it.

Our stay at the ryokan was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and a beautiful blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The tatami rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, with a calming ambiance that made it easy to unwind. We also loved the small touches, like the yukata robes provided for guests and the attentive staff who made sure we were comfortable at all times. The whole experience felt like a perfect balance of tradition and luxury.

We drove to the hotel for one night stay near Aso Mountain. Free parking available. Beautiful view, and we are able to catch the sunset by 18:00 after checking in. We chose to enjoy the onsen first before buffet dinner. We did the right thing, as after onsen, we are starving. They provide a range of fish sashimi , horse sashimi, sushi, noodles, bbq, hot dishes. All you can drink for me yay! There's free ramen at 9:30-10:30 and I had a bowl of specially made ramen before bed. Buffet breakfast is also spot on, we had a full stomach before heading to other locations around Aso the other day. Great deal, great service! And there's Kumamoto souvenirs for last minute purchase!

The tatami room is definitely worth experiencing. While the room itself has a toilet, there are no private showers, as guests primarily use the hotel's excellent communal onsen facilities. These fantastic facilities boast numerous hot spring pools, opening as early as 6 AM. Although the room rate might seem a bit steep, the overall experience and amenities provide incredible value. You get to enjoy spacious lawns, beautiful mountain views, two generous buffet meals daily (breakfast and dinner), and, of course, unlimited access to the rejuvenating hot springs. All things considered, it's genuinely great value for money.

Remote location, old decor, OK cleaning. Driving out of the nearest convenience store also. There are summer festival games for children to play, and snacks to collect. We checked in at around 5pm, the hot spring is closed, opening hours 13:00-17:00 and not stated online. Breakfast is good, dinner is ok, there are long-legged crabs all you can eat. The large bath has indoor and outdoor, outdoors saw a few dead insects, a little scared. After checking out I planned to try golf, but it was closed, no place wrote opening hours. In summary, if there are prescribed opening hours, please state them online.

The triple room was reasonably spacious. Because it's a hotel near a golf course, the scenery was beautiful. We even saw a deer in the bushes next to the course – a delightful surprise! Badminton and billiards are available by reservation, and there's also a hot spring bath.

The all-you-can-eat dinner was delicious and fun! I knew they had marbled meat and other dishes, but it was fun to be able to try out about 15 different types of sake! The family bath was also great! I was worried about whether I would be able to use it since I had to make a reservation on the spot, but it was surprisingly empty and I was able to use it both in the evening and in the morning!

This is a fantastic resort! With the dinner and breakfast package, you practically don't need to leave the hotel for meals. The resort offers a wide range of entertainment facilities, including a swimming pool and a mini lazy river. The onsen (hot springs) are also excellent, with each bath providing a different scenic view. It's conveniently located about 1 km (a 15-minute walk) from Aso Station, making it very easy to get to the volcano crater.

It was comfortable! ❢ The greetings were pleasant, the room was spacious and clean, and the location was great. The changing room in the large bath was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and it was very comfortable. The welcome sweets and drinks were also a nice touch. They maintained a reasonable distance, making it a truly relaxing and relaxing inn. 💖

The Japanese-style room is on the side of the annex building. The yard is large and parking is easy. It's just that the room lights are very dark, including the corridors of the hotel are very dark at night, I don't know if it saves electricity. On the night of staying, it was rainy and windy, but the rain still fell the next day. Life near Mount Aso might be like this

Like the onsen in the hotel; onsen water is good and big enough for 6-7 person to use. Japanese breakfast served by staff was quite substantial and tasty. The room that we stayed is quiet and faces mountain and park. Bathroom a little small but clean. There wasn’t any wardrobe but there were hooks on the wall and hangers were provided.
