It was a seamless check in and check out process. The location was the best, it was a walking distance to Bugis, Raffles City and Funan etc etc. Super easy to find food whenever you're hungry. There's even a restaurant in the hotel itself. Downside is the keycard needs to be changed daily. And it took us 3-5 times to unlock the room door. Overall, really worth the money, would come again.

I first stayed at the SEA Hotel back in 2014 as it was recommended by my aunt and uncle who always stay here when in Singapore. I love the place. It’s old and rustic (a throwback to another time) but for $100 SGD a night with a fabulous vegetarian buffet breakfast included (Kwan Im restaurant) and prime location in Bugis you couldn’t ask for anything more. Also when booking the staff are excellent in replying to queries and give very detailed information about getting to the hotel and airport transport options and nearby attractions. Free wifi was included and it was fast and reliable. The staff on the front desk were friendly especially the girl who checked me in. Bugis+ shopping mall (10 levels with cinemas, food/retail options galore and taxi rank) is less than 5 mins walk. I use this as a taxi pick up/drop off point to various attractions from the hotel. Bugis MRT Station is 5-10 mins walk and is on the airport line (10th station from the airport, with 1 change at Tanah Merah, cost only SGD 2.50) The Kwan Im Temple is right next door and worth checking out (it gets very busy with local worshippers). Directly outside is a pedestrian mall with a flurry of activity with market stalls and street vendors. The hotel is simple and rooms unadorned with only the basics but it’s all there and excellent value for money. They do request you leave your key if you go out and recollect (24 hour reception) but I conveniently forgot to do this most of the time and it was never a problem. Oh and don’t even think about bringing durians to the hotel!

The price is relatively affordable. But Ctrip writes that there is a window, but there is no window in reality. I confirmed with the front desk that their English version interface is different from the Chinese version. Please verify with Ctrip.

It's a very good experience! I reached the hotel at about 3pm, filled in the form, took my temperature and the personnel on the 1st floor directed me up the stairs to take the lift to the 2nd floor where the reception counter was. Check in was a breeze, although there was a hiccup due to me going on a solo staycation on my first off day after a night shift. The room was clean with amenities available in the room (coffee, tea satchel, shower amenities, toothbrush etc) Overall, it was a good experience and 10/10 would come back again!

Second time staying, this time manage to get a bigger room however there are a lot of stains in the room. Mirror was unclean, able to see footprint on weighing machine, bidet disgusting. But overall pretty good hotel with super friendly staff. Free mini bar with Excellent service! Will probably come back again cause the location is just amazing. Walking distance to Bugis, Suntec City and City Hall.

The location is good. It is close to Suntec City and the subway station. It's quite ordinary. It should be called a hotel in China. It's not a smart card but an old-fashioned key. I don't know which room to knock on until midnight. I can still hear the suggestion to wear earplugs at two o'clock, and the transit is only for one day

Modern hotel with basic amenities. Hand sanitizer and disposable masks provided which is quite nice . Love the rooftop garden in this hotel though need to ask the hotel in charge to escort us to the roof. Room are clean and modern but the aircon is not adjustable and could not switch off despite feeling cold .

It was so bad. Basically the hotel did not state they didn’t allow visitors and usually, hotels would allow up to 2 guests and 5 visitors until 10.30pm before asking them to leave. The receptionist claimed that the hotel is a private property and they reserved the right to set any rules they want. Hence my friends and I (3 people) weren’t allowed to enter the rooms since it’s more than 2 people. Afterwards the receptionist offered to add an extra bed for FIFTY dollars just to accommodate 3 people in the room. We rejected obviously because the room is $76 for a night, why would we pay so much just for a bed when it’s redundant. The receptionist herself was super rude to customers. She showed attitude and even badmouthed about my friend and I to the obese Indian security guard after we walked away from the desk. The Indian security guard was also extremely rude when she asked us to check in trace together. We would understand if she needs to be stern if we’re unwilling to sign in. However, we were super accommodating to her instructions but she spoke to us as if she was commanding us to do staff. Is this the right attitude service staff of hotels should provide???? Obviously they refused to refund, hence, my friend and I (2 people) decided to check in since it’s already paid for and my other friend (1 person) to wait at the lobby while we settle down for a bit. After around 20 minutes, the Indian security guard and receptionist proceeded to chase my friend out of the lobby, saying she’s not allowed to wait at the lobby even if it’s awhile because she’s not a guest. But it’s called a lobby for a reason no? However, my friend refused even after 3 attempts of trying to chase her out and the receptionist decided to call my room to ask us to hurry up and go down as my friend is waiting for us and that she has to go as she’s not a guest. I would understand if the lobby is packed and yknow safe distancing and what not but the lobby was empty. Hence, the receptionist couldn’t even accommodate to the well being of customers and how can the hotel allow this?? The room is honestly quite not bad, worth the price but I would never return to this hotel again due to bad customer service. And looking at the past reviews of this hotel, it’s not the first time people are complaining about the receptionist and the security guard. I hope the hotel take actions against them. Lastly, what kind of rule is “no talking in the lift” ?????

Somerset Bencoolen @ 51 Bencoolen Street is an amazing economically priced serviced apartment with good location, excellent service & amenities such as gym & lap pool. There are many nearby places of interests to visit and explore (eg Bugis Junction, Raffles Place, Narional Museum of Singapore, Fort Canning Park, National Library, Bras Basah Complex, etc) and also a wide selection of hawkers stalls, eateries and restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend this to any family requiring 1 or 2 bedrooms serviced apartments for a short respite.

Super comfortable experience at Carlton Hotel Singapore! I had arrived 2 hours before check-in time and lucky for me my room was already ready to be checked-in!! Upon checking-in my partner and I also received a nice slice of cake in celebration of our anniversary which I thought was a very sweet gesture. Not forgetting to mention that we also got a free upgrade to Premier Room which caught us by surprise. The room was clean and smelt nice upon entering. Bathroom and bathtub was kept in top-notch condition. Basic amenities such as toothbrush, shower cap, razors etc. were also provided. Overall, my partner and I had a very comfortable experience at Carlton and would definitely want to return again.

Quiet location but there seems to be renovayion works nearby which ends after around 5pm Checking in, staff was really helpful and friendly. Helped us with recommendations and directions etc. However, there was a leak in the room at around midnight. Tried calling front desk a few times but no answer. Highlighted to them in the morning. They apologied and say it might be condensation but seems serious to me. Also found some used toiletries bottles in the bathroom. Location wise is amazing. It is near little india, bugis, raffles city, etc. And we can walk pretty much anywhere. Could be a decent stay if not for the leak.

The hotel is very close to Wenqing subway station, walk 5.6 minutes. The youth hostel is very small. It has a lot of capsule beds in one room, but the capsule room is well designed. It is very spacious to sleep alone. The closed door is your own private space. Bedding, lighting, safe, charging plug, usb, and mirror are all available in the capsule. The access to the card is safe, and the bathroom is clean. Although there are many people, this is still in place. With breakfast, it is simple cereal. And toast bread, coffee milk variety. The front desk attitude is very good, that is, one of the lights in my room is broken and cannot be turned off. The Indian brother first said that the light in each room could not be turned off. He lied. Actually, it was not. Later, he let him think of a solution. In short, the overall is a good hostel, you can choose this next time you go to Singapore, it is recommended ~~~~~~

I booked this place on a long layover in Singapore, and this place is so cool! Now, the showers and amenities are pretty much like most hostels (nothing special, but more than adequate), but the pod itself was actually quite nice! Inside feels very futuristic, and it comes with your own power outlets and a/c. Bedding and pillow were soft, and the Chinatown location is a plus!

Check into the hotel and wait for the nucleic acid test results. According to government requirements, the hotel first arranged to stay in an isolated room and could not leave the room. When ordering food, you can scan the QR code in the room and deliver the food quickly. The room was isolated, and the disinfection was done well. The smell of the disinfectant was unbearable. Fortunately, after staying for 6 hours, I received a negative test report in the mail. After forwarding the email to the manager on duty for about 10 minutes, the hotel rescheduled check-in, escaped from the isolation room, and life returned to normal. The hotel facilities are very new, located in the downtown area, connected to raffles city, convenient for sightseeing and shopping, and the rooms are quiet. The front desk and some staff in the hotel can speak Chinese, there is almost no language barrier, the check-in experience is very good👍

Because I need to apply for a visa, I stayed here for 18 days and stayed at other hotels for two nights. This is a co-living hotel, so there is no private bathroom, but in reality, my experience did not feel inconvenient, and I rarely encountered other customers . The traffic location is very good. It is opposite to Chinatown Food Street. When you go out, there is a traffic light. There is a Maxwell Food Center on the left. The food inside is affordable and delicious. I often go to China Street Food to finish my meal and then go to Hailan Panmian. Fried fish noodles. It is also very close to the Chinatown interchange station of the NE and DT subway lines. It is very convenient to go to Sentosa or Sands or Merlion. Auntie Cong, who is in charge of cleaning, is also super nice and enthusiastic, serious and responsible. Next time I go to Singapore, I would prefer to stay here. The decoration style is also very simple and fashionable, and some romantic, very suitable for young people. Sign-in and sign-out are also very convenient, simple and convenient. If you don’t speak English, it’s okay to live here. In short, five-star praise, highly recommended.

The plane was rescheduled and stayed in this new hotel for three days. I saw this when I planned to travel. At that time, there were no reviews on Ctrip. I wasn't sure. At the end of January, there were more than 20 positive reviews. I booked it for 3 nights and tried it. First of all, I booked the highest room type in the entire hotel, which was only over 50 square meters. The previous Capella was half the size. It turns out that many of the comments in the review set the basic square shape of more than twenty flats that the room was large. . I really don't want to talk. Since the best room type is only over 50 square meters, it is good to have good daylight. Look at the picture. All the windows are blocked by the wall and the daylight is not good. The newly opened hotel contains two hours of happy hour, and there is nothing to evaluate. Breakfast was ok, few categories and quality. If there is any need in the room, such as adding drinking water and not waiting for a body lotion, you have to wait a long time. When you call and change the wiring for another person, you don't know what you are going through. Besides talking about the convenient shuttle bus, this hotel does not have its own shuttle bus at all. Instead, it needs to go to a nearby hotel instead of having a car that goes to vivo City and Resorts World like Capella. All three days of stay require us to walk or take the MRT. Why compare with Capella? Because I spent almost the same money as Capella (one less than 5000, one nearly 6000) So the credibility of the previous review is almost huh. In the end, I spent my birthday at the hotel and told me when I checked in. I asked if I could upgrade to know that I had booked the best room, so I was told "I will surprise you, but I won't tell you yet." "OK, alright, wait until 9 o'clock on the birthday, send a simple cake. I gave a cake to someone who was anti-sugar for 1 year. I was really huh, huh, and finally the child took a small bite and threw it away.

The boneless chicken fried rice in the restaurant is very popular with children. The swimming pool is very clean, about 25 meters long. Because during the epidemic period, some meals are bought one get one free. It was originally not expensive for about 15 servings, and it became more affordable. Very quiet, you can take a walk in the nearby big park in the evening, very relaxing, recommended

Good aspects: clean environment, good host service and good sanitation; Disadvantages: The public areas in the villa are relatively cluttered. They are located in the industrial area, there are buses and restaurants within 300 meters of walking, and shopping is about 1.5 kilometers on foot. If you are working near the Woodlands area, you can consider it. After all, it is farther away than coming from the urban area. Living here can save time and fares. If you are really traveling, it is not recommended.

This place has very, very good customer service which i must first commend in the first sentence of this review. I was there for 3 days and two nights and there was the same staff throughout my stay, day and night. But he was friendly, helpful and jovian. It actually seemed like he was the one who did absolutely everything in the hotel. Be aware that this hotel IS in the red light district of Singapore. My room was a single bed room, and the only single bed room in the already small hotel. It was unfortunately crawling with ants along the wall, a tile or two had chipped or fell off. The wall hiding behind the toilet door wasn't to die for either, the room didn't feel complete, but it was livable. I did get the opportunity to go into the other rooms, the double bed room and family room. Those were definitely more decent, they felt cleaner and were better maintained. They even had a cosy feel to them. It comes with breakfast in the vicinity's small kitchen. Don't expect a wide spread or a 4 star hotel breakfast, but it was pretty decent for it's standard. Bread, a fruit, protein (eggs, tuna or others), rice or porridge. There are plenty of food around the area, hawkers mostly. But there are three mrt stations within walking distance, and Paya Lebar Square is about 900m (12 - 18min walk) from the hotel. In all, it isn't a place for fussy stayers. But if you're pretty easy going, don't want to pay premium prices for an accommodation and get your own room and toilet, then one can definitely consider this place.

Arrived at the hotel more than 1 pm, the staff checked me in. The geographical location is superior. The hotel turns left and goes a few hundred meters to go to Fanglin Pasar. The laksa on Renlong store on the second floor is expensive. It costs 10 coins and it tastes good. The Fujian Bak Kut Teh on the 1st floor is very good. The 4 bowls of coins are good. The soup and ribs taste good, but the herbs taste a little heavier. Turn right at the hotel and turn right for more than ten minutes. There is the Maxwell Food Center on the street. Every day, Hainan Chicken Rice is inside. Unfortunately, the day I went there was not open. I switched to Xingxing Hainan Chicken Rice. I walked about twenty minutes from the hotel to Merlion Park, and only five minutes' walk to Ya Kun for breakfast and coconut toast. It was very convenient to use Google navigation. In the alley near the hotel, there are still some murals of the early Tang people living in Nanyang. You can take a look if you have time.

I stayed here for three weeks, so I booked this hotel because it was alone. It’s just fine to live alone, but staying in a room without windows for the first week doesn’t feel good, because people need sunshine to get up in the morning. After booking in the next two weeks, I asked the clerk to arrange a window, but the window could not be opened, the sound insulation was not good, and there were occasional car noises at night. Other facilities are good, toilets and showers are clean, the kitchen on the second floor can receive water, free coffee, microwave, refrigerator, etc. There are yoga and small bars on the roof, and there are two restaurants on the first floor. You need to download the st signature app to self-check in, submit your passport photo and a deposit of 80 SGD (only credit cards are supported), usually there will be shop assistants in the afternoon, and most of them can speak Chinese. The location is particularly good, the city center is quiet, and it is 5 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station. It is directly opposite to the Maxwell Cooked Food Market, where there are many small shops for food.

If youre looking for a budget hotel for a staycation, this one hits the spot. Location wise, located near food stores and a mall, about 10-15 minutes from the mrt station. If you have your personal transport, you may find parking spots nearby but they are limited. The room itself is very small and has a tv with HBO service (kinda like netflix). They do not provide any toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, and miniature body wash and shampoos. They do provide hand sanitizers, tissues, towels and a hair dryer. The rooms are not soundproof but its okay. I have issues regarding the rooms plug sites as it is very inconveniently placed. The one near the dress table was placed inappropriately that it made it difficult to plug the hairdryer. They also didnt have another plug site at the othe end of the bed so if you are a couple, do take note that only charging from 1 side is available.

There is no parking lot, no extra bed, and the hotel does not have breakfast. The hotel commissions the small county liver skewers to make breakfast. Guests need to take the hotel room card to the hotel front desk to exchange breakfast vouchers and then go to the small county liver hotel for breakfast. Chicken, sausages, boiled eggs, canola, broccoli, watermelon pieces, toast, jam, instant coffee, mixed fruit juice. Breakfast is almost the same every day, and the taste is ok. However, the location of the hotel is very good, that is, the room is too small, only a large bed can be put down, no free water, only two bags of instant coffee, boiling water must be picked up in a room on the second floor of the hotel. It is not suitable for bringing children, and the sound insulation is not good. There are windows that cannot be opened.

Stayed here during my trip, booked a family room for 4 (2 adults and kids). I booked using goibibo and they have an option for free breakfast and Dinner or lunch. What is good: at the center of little India, good number of Indian hotels and restaurants, staff's behavior / support is also good. Wifi Works with reasonable speed, they did provide an early check in. Cons: The rooms are small ( i guess this applies for most of the Singapore hotels), AC is slow (especially it takes lot of time to cool , though it works ), No room service provided. The hotel is very small may be around 12 - 15 rooms, so don't expect any extras. Bad: The hotel as such doesn't have a restaurant, they provide coupon (worth SGD 3) that can be redeemed for neighboring Hotel, where for dinner, they don't have VEG Option and break fast u won't get much items other than either dosa / parota with tea / coffee. Its quite misleading to say free breakfast / dinner. Rooms can be maintained well, rooms are so small that you really can't have much space to walk as well. Recommendation: Overall its an average hotel, in prime location near Little india.

I booked a club room for my birthday using the SRV vouchers but due to the passing of a loved one I had to postpone the trip and because of that I had to top up another $94 just to ammend my dates. After arranging for the ammendment, there isn't any email to tell me that the hotel is aware of my change in plans. I wasn't aware that you could check in early and we only reached there at 2pm, today we saw a couple checking in as early as 10am in the morning. As a guest maybe you want to take initiative to check with if an early check in is available. Not sure if there was a miscommunication of any sort but when we were going down to the Club Lounge to have our breakfast, we were asked to sit outside because they didn't allow hotel slippers to be in the lounge. But there are guests in the club longue who are in hotel slippers. I can't help but wonder why. Oasia has decent rooms but I think the feeling of being welcomed and having personalised service just isn't there yet. It wasn't a fantastic experience I feel.

The four of us stayed here on our visit to singapore. The front desk lady charged or room deposit instead of merely taking a credit card number to charge later in case of damages (this was against policy I discovered later). We stayed in a room with a queen bed and two bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, plus a small balcony. The room was clean and comfortable - all features functioned properly. The location is far from the main areas of the city and on the other side of singapore from the airport. A subway station is about 10-15 minutes walk away. A bus stop is directly in front of the guesthouse. It's a solid 30 minute trip away from little india or little china. Being a hostel we had concerns about noise at night but were not bothered by any. We did not utilize the breakfast option but did eat at the restaurant across the street and found it acceptable. On checkout I found that they could not refund the deposit. After working with the manager over the next several days she refunded the deposit to me via paypal instead of a credit to my original card. That was not desirable at all, but was the best she said she could do. On the whole this was a nice stay, I only advise you to be cautious about your room deposit.

Walking distance was 10 mins away from Orchard Central. The room is spacious and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides toiletries and we had our breakfast using the hotel voucher at Artisan Boulangerie Co located at Killiney Road which is 3 mins Walking distance with a choice of pastry and offered a top up of drink to large size at $1.05. The hotel is only a 2 storey property. Front desk staff was polite except that they were rushing through telling us the T&C and house rules of the hotel and there was a $100 deposit charged to my credit card which may take some time for the refund. Sound proof isn't that good as we keep hearing sounds of slamming door whenever someone opens their room door. Unfortunately the neighbour beside my room keeps singing like a crow and as the outerside of the showing area is partially enclosed, so we can hear it loud and clear in our room. Didn't get to use the pool due to the location as it is just right underneath the walkway to the lobby. There is no privacy as whoever enter or exit the hotel is able to just look down and that is where the pool is. Although it is clean and spacious but given the location and the condition of the hotel not being sound proof, I will not patronise again.
