The facilities are very good, it is a local villa area, very beautiful, the landlord is also very good, and provide a lot of help. The only thing that is not perfect is the 30 Singapore dollar sanitation fee, which is not cleaned. It is said that it will be cleaned only once in 7 days. We only live for three days. We do n’t have cleaning tools ourselves, which makes us unreasonable.

We stayed here for one night during our recent trip to Singapore. I love this hotel, it's perfect for a family trip. It has great facilities, lots of great swimming pools, great golf courses, gym and even a supermarket. In addition, there are many other facilities. We stayed in room 103, which was very nice and big. There was a swimming pool next door that was especially suitable for children. There were plenty of choices for meals, but there were no halal options, which was disappointing. But what makes us happy is that there is a subway here and there are many restaurants with delicious vegetarian food. The wifi was not free which was a bit surprising as we didn't expect to have to pay for the internet. However, overall the hotel is still very good.

Small room, however functional and Ok for short stays. Room wasn't the cleanest, dropped something on the floor, peaked under the bed to look for it and it was not cleaned in a while, leftover sweets, someone left their make up kit, etc.

Location - 5 stars because the bus stop is very near the entrance and there is a nearby hawker centre across the corner of the street Service - 5 stars because their staff is nice and listens to the request whenever we wanted to keep the bed sheet changed and automatically the towels will be changed as we stayed there for 6 nights 👍🏼 Cleanliness - 5 stars because it is so clean! They normally take out what’s in the trashbin almost regularly and they also replenish bathroom tissue and liquid soap Amenities - 5 stars because even the room is small, you won’t feel that it is small because the space is carefully throught of. Restroom has a water heater, in the room you have a mini fridge, a safe deposit box, tv, mirror, hangers, make-up space, hair blower, and I love that the room has a lot of lights! 🫰🏼 We forgot to take a photo of the room itself, (because we are super excited to explore SG!) 🙂 but the design is what was shown in the picture during booking for a queen bed. Served stay home notice at Ariva for 7 days. We were lucky to have upgrade from 1 bedder (450sqf) to 2 bedder (650sqf) on the very high level with an fantastic unblocked view. Apartment is well maintained and equipped with fridge, washing and drying machine, microwave, toaster, cutlery, basically all you need for a comfortable and homey stay. The front desk manager and staff are very helpful and friendly to cater what we need during our stay. Highly recommend visitors who are looking for a place that is spacious, affordable and at a quiet yet in the city centre location. Though I could not go out during my stay yet I am sure plenty of food options available nearby, confirmed by my foodpanda delivery.

This was our temporary accom following the sale of our house and before our flight to Australia to start our new adventure. It was like a home away from home, with comfortable rooms, excellent facilities, washer and dryer, laundry rack. Love love love the pool! It was huge, my kids loved it. Love that they had bbq pits for us to book, and sufficient pool lounge seats and tables for family poolside gatherings. Easy access to the malls through a side gate so we could buy our groceries and food easily, including a pair of goggles 🤣. Village Residence Hougang is truly a hidden gem. Service was top notched, they changed our airport transfer to a bigger vehicle when we explained the huge number of luggage we had at no additional cost. And Vijay turned up early (6.30am) when their office only opens at 9am, to make sure we got our airport transfer on time. Excellent stay and highly recommend to others. Will definitely come back here when we return to SG. 😁

Location was very good as it is in the middle of zhong shan mall and balestier plaza with many food options avaliable nearby. The hotel room was also better than expected , only negative would be that the toilet is a little small and the TV screen have some defect which makes it unable to watch. Overall it was a good stay and the service personnel are really kind and approachable, thumbs up 👍

You need to let the smell go in every day; the hygiene is quite clean; the sound of the air conditioner is a window machine, and the sound is relatively loud: the quilt is a layer of cloth, and there is a separate thin blanket; the location is in a pedestrian street, taxi It’s not very convenient. This capsule hotel budget-wise is recommendable. The location is great and 5 minutes away from the metro station. I have taken the mixed capsule. I did not expect much because of the price but I stuttered with disappointment when I was there. I availed myself of a stay with free breakfast for 5 days and in these 5 days, never I had tried and seen any food. What I saw are leftovers kept uncleaned. I usually wake up at 5-6 am because I have a conference by 7 am. By that time, no food on the counter. The toilets were furthermore small and crowded. No social distancing or infection control practices. The spaces are cluttered, unkempt, and unmaintained. I have raised the issue to an Agoda representative who told me that I should have the breakfast inclusion. Still, the next day, no breakfast was there. I planned to talk to the reception but most of the time, staff are not present there.

Please read - IMPORTANT about Campbell Inn: My 3 tourist friends from overseas have encountered potential scamming of tourists at this Campbell Inn. They have lodged a police report and contact Singapore Tourism Board and CASE in regards to this case. Hope by doing so, it will prevent the owner of Campbell Inn from cheating other tourists and disgracing Singapore as a safe country again. My 3 friends were ignorant of the various Google negative reviews of Campbell Inn and booked two nights with the Inn. However it seems that they have been scammed. It was their first visit to Singapore and she emailed and they tried to call the Inn several times without getting a proper response from the Inn. They wanted to inform the Inn about the late timing that they would be reaching the Inn. However as the Inn was uncontactable for a proper response, the 3 tourists decided to check-in physically at the premises. The Inn was obviously unsafe as it was occupied by alot of migrant workers in the premises and look more like a illegal foreign worker dormitory. The 3 tourists were initially informed by the receptionist that their room were given to other workers and were even asked to stay together with the male workers in the same room. They realized that these workers were wearing scantily (only sarongs) in the room and some of them appears to be drunk. The 3 tourists refused and left the Inn immediately feeling the whole situation was not right and unsafe. However they were left stranded on the streets in the middle of the night. My friends credit card was deducted for the nights which they did not stay in the Inn. They believed that the Inn management have planned this scam in such a manner that they can easily cheat the tourists who did not know the actual ground situation of the Inn. Also suspect several of these workers may be overstayers without legal work permits as they seems to be staying there for a long time. The Inn is definitely not a safe place for tourists to stay in. The practice of this Inn not only causes distress to the overseas visitors but also shame us Singaporeans which our country projected a very safe reputation to visitors from all over the world. The matter has been reported to relevant Singapore authorities.

It has a great location for a tourist. Walking distance from the metro station. Plenty of restaurants around. The space is really tiny. I got a single room and I had to jump on the table to access the bed. The boy kindly changed my room to an easier bed access. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom average. There is no ventilation, I felt lack of oxigen. You can hear any conversation as if they were in your room. The bathroom was in another floor...Well, I guess Singapore accommodation is hell expensive and this is what I get for this money.

I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

New hotel, minimal but perfect, both location near potato head, Maxwell food center, Mrt Mexwell&China town, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Inside the room is quite narrow. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. The cleanliness never failed us. The room is big enough. This time we stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They gave us a complimentary a bottle of red wine and free upgraded room with a nice view. Kudos to the management for this arrangement. Location wise is very convenient, right next to Clarke Quay station, there are buses to go Bugis, Marina area, Orchard Road. Walking distance to Chinatown. Buffet breakfast is superb as always.

The only bad thing about it is that the walls are quite thin and you can hear people from other rooms near by just slamming the doors shut, hitting the walls for god know what reasons. Which brings us to the second night, we were woken up at 2:30am as a family staying at the 3rd level was making so much noise at such hour, you can hear conversations going on, children’s screaming and shouting that we barely could fall back to sleep. It lasted for a good 45mins!! We hope that they would implement some noise regulations during certain hours and be proactive whenever this happens in the future. Overall nothing much to complain about, staff were super nice and friendly. Room is just nice for couples staying a few nights. Location was perfect as there were many cafes and restaurants located at the area, so you are spoiled for choices when it comes to getting food down your belly.

Arrive in Singapore late at night. I was at an age when it was difficult to stay at the airport, so I chose to lie down, but this was quite comfortable. A taxi from the airport costs $33 (including late night charges). The late-night reception was unmanned, but the self-check-in system worked well, and although it was a small space that looked like a closet, the women's 6-person room was so quiet that I thought no one was there, and the mattress and sheets were surprisingly good. It's high and I had a good night's sleep (although in the morning some people started unpacking their suitcases and there was nowhere to step) Showers and toilets are clean, but be aware that the floors can get wet. Also, perhaps because of the corona crisis, there is no breakfast service as mentioned in previous reviews.

The location is very good and convenient, its only five minutes walk to Orchard Rd. The room was very nice, looks like it just renovated. Pillows and bed were very comfortable. There’s also a Nespresso machine in the room. Breakfast buffet spread was good. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The bonus part is that we get full access to the pantry (24 hours) where you can take anything (they have all kinds of drinks & snacks)

This is a new venue in Singapore, offering guests loads of comfort. It consists of a main building (reception/lounge area/work space) and a newly built building, where the rooms/apar**ents are located. In between lie the swimming pool 30 mtrs or so long and the gym. Rooms are very comfortable, well designed and well equipped. Staff is very helpful. They offer guests a good breakfast, not abundant but more than enough for us. Around six they offer guests free wine and beer and some snacks. Non alcoholic beverages/coffee/tea are available 24/7. Bicycles are available too.

The stay is quite ok la. But there’s only 1 mirror for the whole room, I can only do my makeup in the toilet with very dim light. First, the noise from the air conditioner in each bed was too loud, so if you need complete silent to sleep this will be a big issue. Also the ladder's installed on the wall beside instead of in front of my bed, and I walked a lot when visiting Singapore so my legs were sore at the end of the day and climbing up to the top bunk was hard for me, I almost fell down a few times. Despite those inconveniences, I would still recommend this place if you want to travel on a budget. They offer complimentary breakfast, plus their bathrooms are clean and the service staffs are very nice.

The location is good. Clarke Quay Metro Station and Clarke Quay Shopping Center are just a few minutes walk away. There are two 7-11 convenience stores next to the hotel. The buses are also much closer than the subway. The minutes are here. The hotel facilities are fairly clean, the air conditioner has no noise, the bed is comfortable and not soft, there are free mineral water and oranges every day, there are not many samples for breakfast, but it is enough, eat in the morning and start the day. The room has a hair dryer, very nice. The front desk can help to call a taxi, there is a lift for the disabled, very practical. The room is very small, the washstand is next to the bed, the 20-inch suitcase barely opens two, and then it is more difficult to open the door.

This review is long over due. My extended family and I stayed at Oakwood Studios Singapore through most of December 2022 and onto the first week of January 2023. The circumstances around our stay was very difficult but the management and staff at the Oakwood Studios made our stay most comfortable and we can’t thank them enough. This is not your typical service apartment but one with a special touch. And it seems to be popular with expats on short assignments to Singapore and families who have patients being treated at MT E Orchard or many of the other medical facilities across Singapore. Nestled across from York hotel and one building next to Quincy this is a most unique property. I have stayed at both the others in the past but I prefer Oakwood by far with its balcony in every room and clean and modern style with kitchenette. But it’s the people that made all the difference. I would like to specially thank Hitesh for going out of his way and even while on holiday to accommodate our ever changing dates and need for rooms. A big thanks to Nass as well for always stepping up and being most accommodating. Thank you Dan, Denise, Kym, Jet and Shobina for all the help at reception, with the brilliant breakfast boxes and recommendations. The residents loved the Thursday night cocktail and snacks which were complimentary and the many hidden outdoor places in the building (including the roof top pool). A must stay in Singapore for those planning to stay for a week or longer. At the time we were there, we heard that the Ascott group had bought Oakwood Studios. As good as the Ascott brand are themselves, I do hope they allow Oakwood Studios to retain its unique style and personality.

it's my 4th/5th visit to Clan hotel , decided to treat myself hence chose to return to Clan Hotel despite having a previous unpleasant counter 🙂 not too sure if the welcome ”routine” changed , didn't get the tea ceremony this time but not a big issue . got a corner room , the room didnt fail us . everything is great about the room , comfort & cleanliness is good . booked w breakfast , i kind of miss the previous set menu options over the current buffet breakfast .. not too much variety . not too sure if i came late around 9ish , the staffs are less attentive and more concern about the closing time . was assigned to a table , however after upon taking my food my table was taken by another person 😕 not too sure what went wrong , did the staff forgot that table was already assigned or the other person just sat there ? if i'm not wrong we will be assigned to tables but not free seating .. and the staff served our drinks to that table should have noticed why is 2 cups of drinks ordered for 1 pax 😅 i had to ask the staff to reassign me to another table ? 9.30 - 10.30 staffs are more anxious to close the breakfast . food are not replenished as often , recommend to go early for breakfast if you are able to wake up

The facilities are very good, it is a local villa area, very beautiful, the landlord is also very good, and provide a lot of help. The only thing that is not perfect is the 30 Singapore dollar sanitation fee, which is not cleaned. It is said that it will be cleaned only once in 7 days. We only live for three days. We do n’t have cleaning tools ourselves, which makes us unreasonable.

We recently stayed in a two bedroom apartment (2A &2C) and my mother stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Highly recommend this location to stay. Apartments were well maintained, guest services helped organising taxis if needed. Complimentary breakfast had variety. My children loved the pool and swam every day. The garden surroundings were lush and green. I would definitely stay here again
