Lovely hotel with a beautiful view and amenities. It has everything you would need for a beach holiday. They provide towels and a beach bag. The staff are all lovely and very helpful. The service was good with cleaning. One thing I would say is you need a car/bike to travel to the main strip of shops and restaurants and the main area of the beach. The hotel does have its own section next to the pool for the beach but the stairs go straight into the water (which is shallow) so is fine to get onto the beach area.From$58

It was really great time. Large rooms with new equipment. Great pool and sun beds. Tasty breakfast with coffee from coffee machines and seaview. Friendly staff. Nice cocktails. Hotel offer transfer to central lamai and back, also you could rent a bike in hotel and pay by card on checkout
The only disappointment is soundproof from the road nearby the hotel. Sleeping rooms located not far from the main road, so you hear every vehicle on the road, some of them are very noisy.

Super friendly staff, and they were very hospitable and willing to help with anything.
The airline misplaced my bag, and when it arrived at the hotel on a later date, the reception called me straight away to let me know that it had arrived.
The restaurant served a good variety of tasty food at a very reasonable price.
My only criticism is that I think the air conditioning unit in my room needed a bit of maintenance: it took a long time to cool the room, which is not ideal in Thailand!
Overall, I had a pleasant stay here and felt it was a fair price for what was offered.From$37

A nice resort at its peak, but now quite run down and old. Had some issues with water in the shower and the walls and furniture show a lot of wear. Could not find a hairdryer either. However, it was cheap, the room was large, bed comfortable, pool is nice. Room had balcony. And you can walk across the street to Hyatt Regency and have food at their beach club, maybe even pool, etc.

The hotel is on the beach, just steps from the sea, and very close to Samui Central, the hub of nightlife. But the room was quiet. We stayed in a family room, and overall it was fine, with adequate air conditioning. However, the rooms are certainly old, which is why they smell of dust, and the curtains and furniture are also dusty. An air freshener was installed, but the dust smell mixed with the air freshener, making it unpleasant to sleep and to be in the room with that constant smell. There's a large terrace for sitting outside, and you can dry your clothes on a drying rack. Breakfast is à la carte, and everything is delicious. The beach has its own sun loungers.From$58

I really loved this hotel; the infinity pool and the restaurant's sea view were absolutely stunning! The service was also great. However, why are the mattress and sheets of such poor quality and so old? And the sheets weren't even very clean! It's such a letdown! It doesn't match the hotel's hardware quality at all. I sincerely hope this gets the attention of the hotel management. For guests, the quality of the mattress and the cleanliness of the sheets account for at least 80% of the experience. Have a nice 2 swimming pools in front of the beach and the breakfast is Delicious. Staffs are good and kind.
But the Welcome drink is only can get. At 4:30pm
And if you are not still use the coupon 15 minutes from 4:30 pm u cannot use that day, they will say u can use it next day, But sadly it was my last day that day so yeah i did not Get use that one, I ask the bartender and receptionist but they say NO and NO CONSIDERATION. I was so sad .

The room was spacious, perfect for our family of three with plenty of room to spare. Although there wasn't a Chinese-speaking receptionist when we checked in, the front desk guy was incredibly nice! He meticulously explained everything, from check-in procedures to hotel facilities, and even walked us through all the features in our room. He was super enthusiastic! We later added a Chinese-speaking staff member on WeChat who was always quick to answer any questions, from recommending local restaurants near the hotel to helping us book taxis. She was so thoughtful and accommodating! The hotel scenery is absolutely stunning, and the beach quality is excellent. I could just lie there all day and never want to go home! The hotel breakfast was also quite generous, with a wide variety of Western and Chinese options, including both à la carte and buffet choices. The food tasted pretty good, and they had different special juices every day, which were delicious! My only minor regret was on our last day's breakfast, one of the restaurant staff members seemed to treat us a bit differently – if you know, you know! We'd like to give a special shoutout to the Hotel Manager, Boky, and her amazing team for their exceptional professionalism and warm hospitality, which truly enhanced our stay. Initially, we didn’t realize we had booked the wrong room, but Boky kindly upgraded us to an Oceanfront suite. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view!
We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, and the service was amazing. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made each visit memorable and special.

Really incredible resort. Very boutique luxury experience, the staff are incredibly friendly and by the end of the trip could easily recognize us and expect our requests. The resort is beautiful, two great pools and a private beach located in a little cove blocked by land on both sides. Our villa had a nice view of the ocean with plenty of privacy for our pool. We had breakfast included, which was in a gorgeous restaurant with a fantastic food and views (pictured). We had a great vacation!From$282

The room is very spacious, in a loft style like an apartment. The whole room is close to the mountains and the sea, and the balcony view is very beautiful! There is a faint sandalwood scent in the room, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. The jacuzzi is very comfortable.
The hotel is located halfway up the mountain. Although the mountain road is very steep, guests can be picked up for free. Free shuttle services to two nearby beaches are also provided from 8 to 17 o'clock every day. If you want to snorkel, there are masks and tubes for you to pick up next to the front desk.
The hotel service is very good. The hotel added my WeChat two days before departure through the phone number and communicated in advance. After the previous guest checked out, they also cleaned and provided check-in as soon as possible (checked in at about 12:50 noon), and the service attitude of the staff is also first-class.From$144

The reason why booked this hotel because it is close to the golf course we’d visit pretty much everyday. The first thing my kids mentioned was that the hotel looks older than the previous one we had stayed at and they wanted to go back to that one. However, just after one day, this has become my kids FAVOURITE hotel ever. It all the staff and service~. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, everyone really went out of their way to assist with anything and everything! My son ended up crying the night before and on the day we checked out because he really didn’t want to leave and understandably so!
Although some of furniture are a bit worn and dated, everything else compensated for this.
The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff always remembered our drink orders.
Can’t miss the fire show at the bar, that was super fun to watch
A shout out to Mak, who would always drive us to and from everywhere around the hotel with always the most upbeat attitude, biggest smile and playing the best jams in his buggy!
I guess it’ll be nice if the hotel offered kids amenities such as slippers, toothbrush etc
Other than that it was perfect.
We enjoyed this trip so much, on the night we arrived back home, we booked our next trip back to this hotel again in Feb of next year!From$570

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was fantastic—very attentive and professional. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the property itself was stunning, with beautiful landscaping and plenty of areas to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The beach line is quite narrow, and the sand is relatively coarse, though this seems to be a characteristic of the entire North Coast. Additionally, the rooms are designed in a way that you can hear your neighbors, as they are separated by connecting doors. This can occasionally affect privacy and quietness.
Overall, despite these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!From$136

Little detail is that bathrope and slippers are far fr comfortable.Bathrope is like it is used in prison and with slippers You cannot walk.

Wow. From the moment you step inside, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a Kimpton. We arrived during their social hour, which meant a generous spread of complimentary drinks and snacks. They also made sure our furry family member Nacho got a cold treat, which was a nice touch. Everyone is taken care of here.
The service is outstanding. Staff go out of their way to deliver. Peter at Hom Bakery arranged almond croissants just for us, and the housekeeping team on 534 was fantastic. Every time we stepped out, even briefly, we returned to find the room cleaned as if they had read our minds.
The rooms are beautiful. Warm, modern design with attention to every detail. They didn’t forget about Nacho either. He had a comfortable bed, treats, and even a full pet menu.
Breakfast was exceptional. Everything you could want was available.
The only weak spot was the Boho menu. To their credit, Channakan and the management team handled it professionally and courteously. I have no doubt they will make adjustments for future guests. After that first visit, we didn’t try the other restaurants, but we will definitely return and give Boho another chance once the changes are made.
Overall the best 5 star experience I have ever had. With service far exceeding what competitors offer at this price point. I would recommend this hotel to any friend.From$335

The location was great considering it is only 20 mins from the airport and near the famous Bo Phut/Fisherman's shopping street (walking distance). However, the whole stay experience was average. We were given the ground floor having paid the more expensive price for the sea view. The heater wasn't functioning on the first day (they later fixed it). There were mosquitoes inside the room which I had quite a few bites from them on my face. The room's lighting was quite dark. The layout is not to my liking (there is no door to the bathroom, so the aircon temp affects the bathroom). The cleaner did not change our bathroom floor mat for 3 nights, and the cleaner only changed our bath towels once (we stayed for 3 nights). Overall, it was not satisfactory considering the price we paid and this is actually a 5-star hotel.From$188

The room was quite large and the bed was super comfy, as was the day bed in the outside verandah. Travelled to Ko Samui as a group of friends and family for 5 days and we had the best time at Anantara Lawana. From the moment we stepped in, Khun Arthur and Khun Baimon introduced the resort to us and assisted with the check-in process. As we had a family member celebrating her birthday, the resort was so kind to prepare a sweet message and cake for her, together with a token during our departure. Throughout our stay, everyone was so polite and friendly, greeting all guests they see. The team at breakfast service (Khun Mint, Khun Pla, Khun Pop, Khun Benz and many more members whose names we couldn’t get) was very attentive and accommodating, even preparing a larger table for us everyday after realising we were a group. During our stay, we also got to enjoy the many facilities and activities organised by the resort, such as the gorgeous pool overlooking the sea, the private beach, kayak rental, beach tennis rental, muay thai class, live music at Sandal lounge, traditional thai dance for the end of day ritual and even a mesmerising fire show. Resort buggy service, turndown service and bubble baths were such luxury, and we truly enjoyed our interactions with all our buggy drivers and housekeeping team. This has been the most relaxing and enjoyable vacation for all of us, and we deeply appreciate the Thai hospitality we were shown. InterContinental Koh Samui was absolutely amazing! The views were first-class and incredibly photogenic. The service was also top-notch; everyone from the lobby manager to the delivery driver greeted us with a cheerful ”Sawasdee ka” and a smile. The front desk staff, Song Jia and Lian Xiaochun, patiently introduced everything to us in Chinese, and other service staff also made an effort to greet and chat with us using the few Chinese phrases they knew. We truly felt at home.
Although the hotel facilities are a bit older, they are very well-maintained and clean. I especially want to say that booking a Club room was the best decision! Firstly, the most beautiful views from the lobby are reserved for the Club Lounge, where you can get drinks and snacks anytime. Secondly, there's daily afternoon tea, and from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, there's a happy hour where you can watch the sunset, enjoy various drinks, and have plenty of food. We even managed to catch a sunset party for Club members on the pier. This trip was wonderful and unforgettable.From$262

The little villa was very cosy and clean. Very quiet as well. The villas standing in a lovely park. Green with birds, well maintained. Breakfast was good, many choice. Pool nice with very soft beds, a plus. Several massages we took at the hotel very relaxing, can recommend. We booked one boattrip from the hotel snorkling tour. They had plenty of options. City with beach clubs and restaurants on walking distance just along the beach. Some small minus: check in took too long. And one day we did not swim in the sea due to the green color of the water. They told us this can happen sometimes for several days there as it is more in a bay not facing open sea. We stayed before on the south east side of koh samui, i would say nicer sea here with more waves and nicer wider beaches. But overall a very pleasant stay here!From$176

From the moment I stepped onto the hotel grounds, I knew I'd chosen well – it had such a stylish atmosphere! On our first day, we had an issue with no hot water in the bath. After contacting the front desk, a maintenance staff member came immediately and fixed it. Breakfast at the oceanfront restaurant was absolutely delightful. Even comparing it to other hotels visible from the beach, this one was clearly the most stylish. It was a minor drawback that insects sometimes entered the room, but luckily, a plug-in mosquito repellent was provided, which was very helpful. The hotel is located on Chaweng Beach, less than 15 minutes' drive from the airport. It has its own beach area and a great environment and scenery. The location is great, lively and convenient, with 7-11 diagonally opposite. The check-in deposit is 3,000 baht. The breakfast is average, the coffee is not very good, fried rice, fried noodles, fried potato balls, various sausages and salads. I order a bowl of Thai noodles and an omelette every day.
