Air wasn't working in one room, and it took most of the night to switch rooms. There was an event during which a physical domestic dispute took place. My kids, 18 to 23, witnessed the bloody mess. We booked 4 rooms for my husband and me and my 4 adult children; hotel seemed frustrated that my children had their own rooms. They're grown. The hotel was getting paid for 4 rooms, plus they had my card for incidentals. I don't see the problem.

Be careful to avoid pitfalls when it comes to breakfast. The hotel I booked with Ctrip in China included breakfast, but when I arrived at the hotel, breakfast was not included, and it was a set meal. I spent more than $200 on breakfast for three days...

The opposite side of the entrance faces the main street, and there is a drugstore nearby.
Hot drinks are available at the entrance and inside the room, and it was quiet and comfortable. I could hardly hear the noise from the next room.

This is a great hotel with nice clean rooms and comfy bed. Lovely big TV in the room with accessible HDMI port for bringing your own device. I know you don’t book into a hotel to lie and watch TV but it’s nice to catch up on things after a long day out. Location is excellent as no more than 10 min walk to downtown Beale St, and 20 mins to Sun Studios, where the magic began. Reception being renovated while we were there so not quite as functional as it should be but staff were terrific and incredibly polite. Overall very low quality for a Hampton Inn. Nice staff, very old building and sketchy adjacent parking garage, elevator broken, pan handlers galore, too close to annoying homeless, ******** ***, and drunks. I walked to FedEx, then to post office, and back to the Hampton Inn today (3 blocks total) and an older man on a bicycle followed me for five minutes shouting insults and racist slurs because a i refused to give him money as I exited FedEx. There is an abundant police presence in the area but if you leave the main three blocks of Beale, drunks are hassling people for alcohol. Very sad for the well-intentioned and hard-working locals. 👎.

Our family stopped here while traveling home. It was close to where we were and needed to just stop for the night. Quick booking through my trip app, and the guy was nice when I was checking in. The room was okay, nothing special, honestly, which was surprising since it was a higher end hotel, but it was decent as far as cleanliness and enough beds for my family of 6. The beds are not that comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and coffee was good.

The motel is very close to the center so it is very easy and comfortable to get there. The good thing was that it is in a gated property so at least it feels safe. I reserved a room for three people but they provided just two sets of towels. The room had the basic. TV, no fridge. The main problem I had was the clean. The room did not feel clean at all. The beds were changed, but under the bed the dust and dirt was disgusting. The floor probably has not been clean from a very long time and there was a condom wrap open under the bed. In the heart of Memphis is this 1925 English Tudor home with historic charm and modern amenities. This spacious home is perfect for family get togethers or couples retreats. The modern eat-in kitchen offers all the essential cookware, upscale dishes and seating for 8 as well as a bar with all essentials. Dining room, den with large TV and formal living room downstairs. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, all with plush luxury pillow top queen mattresses, luxurious Egyptian cotton linens and two bathrooms. This is an amazing house with tons of charm and comfort. Unlike most short term rentals, this home feels like just that - a home and not generic hotel feel. The home is perfect for gatherings of two or three couples or families meeting in Memphis. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with upscale cookware and dishes. There is seating for 10 in the kitchen and the formal dining room seats 8-10. The den is cozy and has a large flat screen TV. All the bedrooms have TVs and updated bathrooms. Nexflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime available on all TVs. There is a deck with seating for up to 10, dining for 6-8 and an outdoor fire pit. In the master bath is a spa room and in-house massages can be arranged for guests. Please note that this is a seasonal home for the owners and personal belongings are in the master closets, but there is plenty of space for guests to put their items. Guest House was beautiful. It felt as if I was walking into a movie scene. Very beautiful place. They have a movie theater with free Elvis movies each night, food was excellent and service was superb. Location is great and very secure. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The hotel is located right at the train station, and so is perfect if you are catching the AMTRAK. The rooms were pleasant and the staff were friendly. The bar is very trendy though was understaffed and so whilst we were there, it took ages to get served.FromAED 478
