Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.37km from city center
The triple room was a bit cramped; there wasn't enough space to fully open our suitcases. The room rate was very reasonable on weekdays, but it doubled on weekends, making the value for money just average. The hotel is quite close to the subway station, which makes getting around very convenient. There are also 7-11 and Lawson convenience stores nearby. What was a bit odd is that on our first day, we received complimentary coffee and weren't charged a city accommodation tax. However, after returning from Universal Studios, on our third day, there was no coffee provided, and we were charged the city accommodation tax. Both nights were booked through Ctrip, so I'm unsure why there was a difference.

Shinsaibashi/Namba/Yotsubashi Osaka|2.48km from city center
The hotel's location is quite good, not far from the Shinsaibashi shopping district and Dotonbori, and closest to Nagahoribashi subway station. Aside from the slightly small bathroom, the room wasn't too cramped. The breakfast was pretty good for the price. For a two-day trip, I highly recommend considering the Osaka Amazing Pass, which offers free subway rides and entry to nearly 40 attractions (Osaka Castle Park + cruise, Tempozan Ferris Wheel + cruise, Tsutenkaku Tower, etc.).

It's a bit of a walk from the subway station. It's actually more around Nihonbashi. It's close to the Tanico store, and convenient for taking the Nankai line to the airport. Just be aware that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary water. Otherwise, the staff attitude was great, and the duvet and pillows were incredibly comfortable.

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.49km from city center
Located around 5-10 minutes walk from Yodoyabashi Station, somewhat in the middle of the business district stands the Hotel Resol Trinity Osaka. Yodoyabashi station is a pretty convenient location, as it was minutes away from Osaka-Umeda Station as well as Shinsaibashi and Osaka-Namba station, which were all on the same line which made travelling around a breeze. The ambience and feel of the hotel was very inviting and comfortable. We had booked the Hollywood Twin Room, and it was quite small, but I would rather describe it as cozy, though my only grouse was that the beds were too close to each other, and the lack of space for 2 huge luggages. I do love that although a bit on the small side, they still managed to fit in a nice Japanese bath to soak away the fatigue. Besides that, there was nothing much to complain about, as the beds were comfortable and not overly hard, and the staff were pretty warm, friendly, professional and efficient. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, which had a nice variety and were pretty delicious. Overall, a fantastic choice and a definite contender when we next go back to Osaka.

I highly recommend opting for the Executive Twin Room. The size and layout are much more suitable and comfortable. The standard room feels a bit lacking, haha. 😂 A big thanks to the Trip.com customer service for helping communicate with the hotel and resolving my issue!

The hotel is in a very convenient location next to Nankai line-Shin Imamiya station and about 130 m.walk to JR Shin Imamiya station and Midosuji line subway -Doubutsuen-mae thus you can travel to either the north or south from Osaka city very easily. On top of that there is plenty of food, cheap to local-price, near the hotel, including the Tama-de local supermarket that sells its food and goods quite cheap. Though the hotel is quite old it's undergoing renovation currently on the lower floors. Now there is WiFi for you to use inside your room. If you knows Osaka pretty well and just need a reasonable-price room to stay for a long period then this hotel can fit your needs

Everything was good. Location is perfect with with just 7 min walk to Nankai line to Kansai airport we were able to catch early morning train. Also well connected to metro lines. Lots of food and shopping options nearby. Great selection amenities and good breakfast (Asian style) The only thing we didn’t like is layout of the room. It is not bad but compare to other places we stay this trip it was not so optimized. However I can definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel's location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk from Kitahama and Yodoyabashi, making it very convenient to travel to Kobe or Kyoto. Although the room is small, it's very clean and well-designed. The lobby on the first floor offers self-service amenities like facial cleanser, sunscreen, toothbrushes, and tea bags. Across from the hotel, there's a fantastic Indian restaurant – the first time I've had Indian food that didn't upset my stomach! A short walk away, there's a Sushinosuke izakaya where two sushi pieces cost just 330 JPY, which is a great deal.

Very centrally located about 5 minutes walk from Shinsaibashi Station exits 5 and 6. Can be a bit crowded in the area on some nights due to the drinking clubs. The hotel is located along the alley streets and Mooken, the pastry shop is very nearby. Rooms are clean but a little tight. Just did not like having to use the raised bathroom as it's not safe for elderly to keep stepping up and down to get in (besides having to shower in the bathtub).

Location: The hotel is right by the JR station, with Universal Studios, restaurants, shopping, and commercial streets all within easy reach. Cleanliness: Both the hotel's public areas and the rooms were clean and tidy. Service: The staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities: There's a chargeable public bath on the 31st floor, but it gets very crowded. The room size was good, larger than hotels in Tokyo, and could fit two suitcases with space to spare. The buffet breakfast was busy, and while the food variety wasn't extensive, the ingredients were fresh and tasty. Perhaps because it was off-season, staying here felt like great value for money when visiting Universal Studios.

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable. Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi are just a short walk away. Both Nagahori and Nipponbashi stations are very conveniently located, and an airport shuttle bus stop is just a three-minute walk from the hotel. The surrounding area is incredibly well-equipped with convenience stores, a fresh food supermarket, pharmacies, and an abundance of dining options. We booked a quad room for three, and a fantastic perk was the complimentary ramen and ice cream served every evening after a relaxing bath. My child even declared the hotel's free ramen the best they'd ever tasted! We'll definitely be staying here again on our next visit.

When we first arrived, we went through the wrong entrance, and the front desk staff came down to meet us. The location is excellent; you just cross a pedestrian bridge outside and you're at the subway station. The service was fantastic. We were even more pleasantly surprised when we entered the room—it's definitely a very spacious room for Japan. We had no problem opening all three of our suitcases. The room facilities are very comprehensive. Every day, housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly and replenished everything. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Osaka.

If i can give higher than 5 rating, i would do so for service. Forgot to ask for the name of the American lady (saw a USA flag pin in her uniform) at the front desk and she is so amazingly service-oriented. So with the similarly pretty superior (i guess) as she seems to be the one incharge. They told me i can be refunded with my accidental double-booking. The penalty fee was even waived. If given the chance again, we will stay in this hotel. We also love the room and all there are in it. We also love the view from our window.

An excellent hotel with a convenient location. The twin room was spacious, and the bathroom featured a separate shower and toilet area. Guests are asked to place trash and used towels outside their door daily for collection. Every morning, the hotel provides Yakult. In the evenings, after enjoying the hot spring, guests can relax in massage chairs and read manga, along with complimentary ice cream. After 9:30 PM, you can head to the first floor for a bowl of soy sauce ramen and free coffee and cola. I enjoyed the hotel's hot spring daily, and even the showers in the room were clean. As our final hotel in Osaka, the room was adequately spacious; even after all our shopping, there was still plenty of room to open our suitcases. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|1.38km from city center
Our whole family was quite satisfied with our hotel stay in Osaka. First off, its location is excellent, right across the street from Fukushima Station. There's a FamilyMart next door and a 7-Eleven right by Fukushima Station. There are tons of restaurants in the area—yakitori, sashimi, izakayas, ramen, you name it. It's just one stop away from the Umeda shopping district, and even walking from the hotel isn't too far. The best part is that it's a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle. Umeda Station's transportation hub is incredibly complex and easy to get lost in, but this particular station has a direct exit that's super close to the hotel, so you won't get lost—it's incredibly convenient! We took the JR line directly from the airport to our room. We stayed for 4 nights, and housekeeping cleaned our room daily. Plus, there's even a hot spring bath to enjoy.

Compared to hotels in Kyoto, it's not as refined, but the value for money is quite high. In the afternoon, you can enjoy free-flow beer and drinks. I didn't book breakfast, but it looked pretty good when I passed by. There's a Shinsekai night market nearby that's very lively from 7 PM to 10 PM, and some izakayas or restaurants are open until 11 PM or even midnight. When you exit Ebisucho Station, use exit 5. (If you haven't booked a ride-share or luggage delivery, leaving might be a bit difficult as this subway station doesn't have an accessible route.)

The hotel is located in the business district, just a short walk from the subway station. I did my research beforehand, so I knew that check-in was upstairs. Excellent location above Osaka Takashimaya, linked to Namba Station directly by lift. Getting to the hotel was abit confusing using google maps until we figured it out. Overall their location makes for ease of shopping & convenient offload the bags in the hotel room. The check in desk was very professional & the bath tub was European size (we booked twin beds). Of the 3 hotels that we booked in Osaka (&Here Namba, Universal Port Vita, Swissotel), Swissotel was the only hotel that could read & execute our consistent requests to push the twin beds together so our toddler could sleep in the middle. Thumbs up for their professionalism. There was also a pair of kid slippers laid out for our kid. There is a friendly hotel bar (free entry, subject to opening hours in afternoon) on level 9 that allows one to play retro video games like Mario & board games etc. Our kid throughly enjoyed their hotel bar games. As Swissôtel is a business hotel, there is no water pitcher in the room & no ice dispenser room. The toilet is a combined one-room facility. However, the rooms are quiet, the water pressure is great & everyone slept really well. Thanks Swissotel

This is one of the few hotels in Japan with a 12 PM checkout, which is great. There's a Christmas tree downstairs that adds a lovely atmosphere. We went to the theme park on our second day, and this hotel is the closest one to it – the entrance is right downstairs! Food options are also very convenient. I highly recommend the fried beef cutlet, it was absolutely delicious! Our clothes got soaked on the Jurassic ride, which was totally unexpected, but thankfully we could just pop back to the hotel to change. You just need to get a stamp from the staff at the entrance to re-enter the park. I hope to bring my kids here next time and will definitely stay here again!

The location is excellent, close to Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori, making it perfect for first-time visitors to Osaka. The lounge offers complimentary drinks, and the kids absolutely loved the pancakes. The Imperial is quite nice. It was the last few days of the Expo back then, so it was super crowded, and the price was a bit higher because of that. The view from the executive lounge was still pretty good. I don't speak Japanese or English, and it took a while to get breakfast delivered to the room. The service was still good though; you could ask the front desk to help call a taxi when you left. They even gave me a welcome gift on my first stay. The only disappointment was with the butler service or more the non existent butler service. For the price we are paying, I expected much much more from St Regis as I have been accustomed to at other St Regis Hotels. The hotel is beginning to show its age and hence the cleanliness part is coming into question when our rooms were being cleaned, I mean I am again nit picking here but it isn’t up to St Regis usual standards. This hotel is a good choice for families traveling with children. The room was small, but still comfortable enough for one adult and two kids. Some parts of the room could benefit from renovation, but everything was clean and functional. The location is excellent—very close to Dobuen-mae Station, and just a short walk to the popular 通天阁 and the zoo, making sightseeing very convenient. Having a Sugi Pharmacy only a few steps from the lobby was extremely helpful, especially since it offers tax-free shopping. Japan Post was also just an easy five-minute walk away, which was very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and great quality. Overall, a convenient and family-friendly stay with an unbeatable location.

Just finished my stay here and honestly, I really recommend this hotel! The location is super convenient — the Kitahama station is literally just one traffic light away, so getting to Namba, Shin-Osaka, or anywhere else is very easy. The area is a quiet district, so you can actually sleep well at night (no noisy crowds). Plus, there are convenience stores everywhere — Lawson, FamilyMart and 7-Eleven all within 3 minutes’ walk. One thing I really appreciated is that the hotel has laundry machines and dryers. This is very important when travelling, especially in colder or wetter seasons. The room size is also surprisingly big, not like those micro-sized hotel rooms in Japan. Everything was clean, comfortable and well thought out. They also have a coffee machine that makes really nice hot chocolate haha. Only downside is that there are only two lifts, so sometimes need to wait a bit. Overall still a great stay. I’ll definitely come back again!

If your Japanese isn't great but you're looking for excellent, value-for-money hotel service, then this is the place for you. The front desk staff are incredibly helpful; once they realize you're a foreign guest, they'll communicate with you in fluent English to ensure quick and convenient service. I didn't opt for breakfast here (there are plenty of cafes and eateries right next door, as it's Shinsaibashi after all, plus the hotel itself offers afternoon tea), so I can't comment on that. The lobby is beautifully decorated in a classic, European style. Good news – it's right next to a subway station. However, depending on the specific exit you need or if you're carrying luggage, you might still have a bit of a walk to certain lines or the street level. Let's talk about the room itself. First off, there's air conditioning, which is a big plus as it ensures consistent temperature control, preventing any hot or cold spots. Secondly, there's no smart card system for electricity, so remember to turn off your appliances when you leave the room. What really deserves praise are the beds. While the facilities might feel a little dated, the mattresses are incredibly comfortable, easily making up for any minor shortcomings in the details of the room. All in all, if you're tired from exploring Shinsaibashi, this hotel is a great option. And don't forget to check out the underground shopping arcade at the subway station – it's also worth a stroll!

Clean and good location. It's my first time in Osaka. Mostly I just walk to most of the tourist spots. There are multiple train stations within walking distance. Also, the best is that, the limousine bus from the airport does make a stop nearby this hotel. The room is spacious. Multiple convenience stores around. The 7 Eleven is just right next to the hotel. Awesome. Highly recommend.

Rooms in Japan are generally small, but this one was clean and had everything I needed. There's no daily housekeeping; you have to put used towels and trash bins outside your door for staff to collect. They'll then hang fresh towels on your doorknob. You can pick up toothbrushes and toothpaste at the front desk. They also have a scale there for weighing luggage, and a microwave in their office if you need help heating something up. Vending machines on the 2nd and 13th floors make it convenient to grab a drink.
