"Location was perfect. Walking distance to the cathedral. Outside the hotel got their own local convenience store. There is microwave at the lobby you can used. Free flow of bottled water u can oenself get from the lobby as well. Love the room as its not centralised airconditioning. Water flow for shower is consistent as well."

"The room was warm enough despite the temperature outside is freezing cold at lowest -27 during our stay. They said there is only 1 family suite each floor, so the view with St Sophia Cathedral is guaranteed. There is 1 bed right after the entrance (i call it the living room with bed), and another 1 bed inside the bedroom. There is only 1 toilet / shower room - which is at the living room. There is no table or coffee table to eat together with family. The room overall has plenty of space but lack of proper furnitures."

"Seriously, who gets this lucky?! On my last day in Harbin, I was sent off by a heavy snowfall! 🎬 The video of the snow falling outside the hotel entrance will forever be my most romantic memory of this city. I chose a hotel near the airport for convenience, but unexpectedly, I found so much warmth there. The service from the people of Harbin is truly exceptional – warm, attentive, and welcoming. From the hotel staff to the locals I met on the street, everyone made me feel so welcome. I had an amazing time in Harbin, and this snowfall just added an extra layer of romance to the city. So fulfilling! I'll definitely be back next time! ❤️ I recommend this to anyone who needs to catch a flight."

"The hotel is right at the entrance of Central Avenue, so the location is excellent – attractions are right outside the door. The subway is also nearby, and it's easy to hail a taxi. The breakfast was very generous, with a wide variety of dishes. I stayed on the 13th floor, and it was very warm, in a great spot, and I slept comfortably. Bottled water was plentiful on the floor. The staff also had a good attitude. Although it's a bit pricey, I highly recommend it."

"Room, location and service were fantastic. The room was very large , has what we need, they had complimentary everything .. bed was comfortable, hotel has good meals available & cocktails/bar (lack of those everywhere). Close to the Chocolate Castle, you can catch a cable car to or from Sun island or subway as well, its close ( line 2) hotel is near line 3. The ice and snow world was a highlight and best transport is subway ( line 2) . We walked 8mins to the line 2 subway and then switched for line 3 on way back. Central street is also close by for the delicious massive icecreams . Harbin was amazing !"

"We had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express by IHG on Harbin Central Street, which greatly enhanced the convenience and comfort of our trip to Harbin. The hotel boasts an excellent location on Central Street, with restaurants, shops, and major attractions all within walking distance. Room and Comfort: The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft, and the room layout was practical. The indoor temperature was just right, making us feel very warm and relaxed in the cold winter. Service and Staff: The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and enthusiastic. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient and smooth. Staff were also very helpful in answering questions and providing travel advice, making the entire stay very reassuring. Breakfast and Facilities: The complimentary breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. The food was fresh and delicious, a great start to the day. The public areas were tidy, and all facilities were well-maintained. Location: The hotel is situated on the bustling Central Street, offering convenient transportation and excellent amenities. "The hotel is located just off Central Avenue, a short walk away. It's a bit removed from the hustle and bustle, so it's not too noisy. The front desk staff are all super enthusiastic and helpful. They assisted us with our luggage and reminded us to dress warmly and stay safe every time we left, wishing us a good time. When we returned, they'd ask us how our day was. We even received complimentary frozen pears upon check-in, and there are many useful gadgets at the front desk you can help yourself to. There's also a self-service afternoon tea with snacks and drinks. The hotel offers luggage storage and courier services too."

"The service was excellent, very polite, and they answered all our questions. The room was around 20-30 square meters, which I found spacious enough for just the two of us. After a day out, it was great to come back and relax with a bath. The room was clean, equipped with a humidifier, a coffee machine, and complimentary drinks. That humidifier was a lifesaver at night; otherwise, it would have been too dry. What stood out most was the comfortable room temperature. At our previous hotel, the room was easily 30°C, making it unbearably hot even with the windows open, while it was -20°C outside. Such a drastic temperature difference makes it very easy to catch a cold. When booking a hotel, always ask if they have a humidifier, what the indoor temperature is, and if it's adjustable. I can't stress this enough – it's crucial. If I had to pick one thing I disliked, it would be the scent of the shower gel – I really couldn't stand it, it was quite unpleasant. I'd suggest switching to something with a nicer fragrance. I forgot if our king-size room had a bathtub or not, but everything else was the same. We had some time before our flight, so we booked a hourly room to get some sleep. Facilities: All available Hygiene: Clean Environment: Good Service: Excellent"

"This hotel is the top choice if you're visiting the Harbin Ice and Snow World. The location is absolutely perfect; no more enduring the pain of being exhausted after a full day of fun and still having to take a taxi back to the hotel. The hotel itself is really big, with a vintage decor and dim lighting. To be honest, walking around alone in the hotel felt a bit spooky 😨. Another thing is, because the hotel is so huge, and you're utterly drained after a day at Ice and Snow World, the next morning, dragging your tired, aching body across the carpet just to get breakfast feels like an impossible task. Plus, the restaurant is genuinely quite a trek from the guest rooms. It's utterly exhausting! 😩"

My friend and I stayed here, and from the moment our ride-share dropped us off, we were just saying ”wow, wow, wow!” It's an incredibly beautiful hotel, giving off a distinct Russian palace vibe. The attention to detail is remarkable, truly embodying the warmth and hospitality of Harbin. The location is super convenient, right next to Zhaolin Park. It's a breeze to get to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. We even walked to the Songhua River. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Harbin!

MM1s3n3ckn****This was my first time visiting Xuegu with my mom, and we stayed at this inn. The environment was great, with a strong Northeastern charm. The owners provided excellent service. The next day, when we went to Wusong Ridge to play in the snow, the owner accompanied us the whole time, taking photos and even teaching us how to ski for free. If we had gone on our own, hiring an instructor at the ski resort would have cost several hundred yuan. The owner was very patient and professional with the photos, allowing me to fully enjoy myself. There were also evening activities at the inn, where the owner would film a 'water splashing into ice' video for us for free, a service that costs money in Xuexiang. We even bought Wuchang rice from them. Overall, I highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting Xuegu. I've already recommended it to my family and friends.

The smart curtains and 'sleep aid' mode were a thoughtful touch. The location is great, close to both the beach and the old city, making getting around super convenient. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the service was warm and attentive. Excellent value for money – definitely the place to stay when you're in Xingcheng!

The underfloor heating works exceptionally well; even when it's dozens of degrees below zero outside, the room remains warm as spring. The guesthouse offers a free breakfast with a rich variety of porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and pickles, providing a balanced and nutritious start to the day. In the evening, you can even roast sweet potatoes and regular potatoes at the guesthouse, which are sweet and delicious, bringing back many childhood memories. GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even offered complimentary rock sugar pear tea and afternoon tea. The room was very new and spotless. They thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers and disinfectant wipes. All in all, our stay was very comfortable and pleasant.
