Hotels near Da Church in Deqing

I met the best old maple tree in the best season, which was more shocking than the photo! I was lucky enough and very grateful. Although I booked an ordinary room in the annex, it was still clean and tidy, and I slept very comfortably. It is very convenient to walk to various scenic spots from the B&B, and autumn is very suitable for outdoor hiking. It can be seen that on the weekend when the maple trees are all red, the B&B is very busy. Some people still contacted in advance, sent location videos, and pre-recorded license plate numbers, so it was easy to find. I was worried that after climbing the mountain for a day, there were many guests and the bath water was not hot, but I still took a hot bath smoothly. I also saw other maple trees in Mogan Mountain during the two days of climbing, some were burnt or withered, only these two maple trees, perhaps by the stream, were spiritual and beautiful, standing tall and clean.

Great service and location. Had a view across the whole mountain range. Breakfast- decent but not a big variety of foods (Chinese: boiled eggs, steamed buns and sweet potato, fermented tofu, pickled bamboo, soy milk. however, this is what you get in all of the hotels on this mountain). Ask the staff for directions before you go. It's easy to get there with public transportation. I went by train from Shanghai-Hangzhou- Deqing and then by local bus Y1 to Mogonshan town and transfer to Mogonshan scenic spot tourist bus that takes you up the mountain (300m from the hotel).

The location is excellent, very close to the station and attractions. The room is well decorated, very large and quite new, with a large balcony for viewing, fresh air, and very comfortable to bask in the sun and blow the wind. It is very suitable for several families to travel together. Rent two rooms and share a balcony to play together. And this hotel has a long history, it's an old building, and there's a big clock on the roof that chimes the time every hour, and it's quite atmospheric. The disadvantage is that our room is next to the roadside, which happens to be under construction. There are often vehicles and tour buses passing by, and the noise is relatively loud, which will wake us up early in the morning. Then three households share a balcony, which offers little privacy and is noisy from the neighbors. The sound insulation of the whole room is not very good. The humidity in the room is high on rainy days and the toilet is a bit moldy. Overall, the price is less than 500 and afternoon tea is included. I may stay here again next time. The price/performance ratio is quite high.

I have been eyeing this place for a long time. Generally speaking, this kind of old villa will have some shortcomings, but Manting does not have them. The room is very clean, without the damp feeling of old houses, very quiet, maple leaves can be seen from the corridor on the second floor, and the breakfast is simple but nutritious. And you can drive up the mountain after staying in the hotel, which is a very pleasant trip.

Fantastic 2-night stay at the Naked Castle. Perfect for a short getaway from surrounding big cities. Beautiful views from the cliffside suite. I prefer the cliffside suite vs. the 5 different themed castle room due to the large open layout of the suite and better views of the mountain. Staffs are super nice and friendly. Buffet breakfast (next to the pool) is good and the restaurant at the castle is great! Not a huge amount of amenities but that's ok since the purpose of going there is to relax. Used half a day to check out the nearby Mo Gan Shan scenic areas. If you don't drive yourself, getting in and out with taxi requires a little bit of planning. Side of the property has two direct hiking trails to the nearby Mo Gan Shan scenic area (easy hike) and Yu Cun (very challenging). Pro tip: make sure to bring anti-mosquito/bugs bite lotion/cream and also anti-itch lotion. Special shout-out to Johnson, who really took care of us during our stay and the restaurant staff at the castle for their excellent service!

The lady at the front desk upgraded the room type for free and we stayed in Mengpo Building. When we opened the window, we could see Naked Castle from a distance. The scenery was amazing. The room was duplex, retro and dreamy. The location was excellent, and the sightseeing bus stop for ”Chairman Mao's Stay” was right outside. The hotel service was also very good. When checking out, they arranged a battery car to take us to Yinshan Street Transfer Center.

This trip is mainly to take my parents for a stroll. We booked a standard room with a mountain view, and the hotel upgraded the view room for free, thank you very much! As soon as we entered the room, we brought welcome fruit and mountain spring water. The fruit was very fresh and delicious. The waiter of the mountain spring water specially took care of it and used it to drink tea. We also ate at the hotel at noon. The owner's surname is Buddha, so all the food is vegetarian, but although it is vegetarian, the appearance and taste are still very good. Especially the fried bamboo shoots and mushrooms are very delicious. Before leaving, I bought dried bamboo shoots at the hotel and went home.

During the Qingming Festival, I came to Moganshan with my friends and chose this homestay, which was great. Location: The homestay is located in the Republic of China villa complex, very close to where Chairman Mao stayed. The car was parked in the Queen Hotel parking lot, and it was a short walk away. It was very convenient to drive up. Landscape: We lived in the old villa parent-child room. The room was spacious, and there was a beautiful mountain view outside the floor-to-ceiling window. The view was great, but the sound insulation was a bit poor. You could hear the sound of flushing the toilet upstairs at night, but after all, it was a villa in the Republic of China, and the flaws did not cover the merits. My friend lived in the parent-child room in the second building, which also had a good view and a small terrace. The children went in and out and had a lot of fun. Dining: We arrived at noon and had lunch at the homestay. The food tasted unexpectedly good. I had chicken soup and fried bamboo shoots 3 times in Moganshan. His taste was the best. Thanks to the cooking aunt. The breakfast was very exquisite. Although there were not many varieties, it was delicious. Service: The owner of the homestay was an elegant and enthusiastic lady. She always smiled and chatted with everyone and responded to our requests. The lady at the front desk and other staff were also very nice. Highlights: The B&B is pet-friendly. We brought our dog Baozi and met two other furry kids. In the morning, I took the big dog for a run in the yard. It was so happy and comfortable. During the short holiday, Mogan Mountain was crowded with people. It was very comfortable to sit and drink tea in this quiet and beautiful courtyard. If you get up early the next day and walk around before the big group going up the mountain arrives, you will feel like you have contracted the entire mountain. The sense of superiority is overwhelming. Next time you come to Mogan Mountain, you will stay here again

When I was planning to go to Mogan Mountain for a weekend trip, I checked out all the hotels and B&Bs in the Mogan Mountain Scenic Area a few days in advance. Finally, I settled on Du Mansion and Yi Su Er. After reading many reviews, I finally made a firm choice. Yisu, I feel that I made a wise choice. Whether it is hardware or service, Yisu does a very good job. I am more comfortable with beds, and Yisu's bed is so comfortable that I can fall asleep instantly after lying down. The hotel also helped us make an appoin**ent for travel photography, and we were able to take a blockbuster photo at Yisu. We look forward to coming back to Yisu next time. Because we temporarily decided to come one day earlier, because Ctrip cannot change it, after communicating with Yisu, they allowed us to check in one day early. We were traveling with the elderly, so we asked if the two rooms were on the same floor, but we didn’t expect to check in during the check-in process. When we checked in, he offered to upgrade our room and arranged two adjacent rooms. Thank you very much. It was a great travel experience. The terrace has an excellent view, the courtyard is clean, and it has a special flavor in the rain. The ethereal feeling in the mountains makes people feel comfortable physically and mentally. The rocking chair and large French windows in the room make people stare at the scenery outside the terrace. For dinner, several farm stir-fried dishes were brought into the guest room. After we finished eating slowly, they helped us clean up. When we checked out the next day, they also took us to the car with an umbrella. It was really hard to leave after passing two tea forests along the way uphill. I am really worried that I won’t be able to grab a room when I come back with time, haha!
