Best Hotels in Eemnes

This was our second stop in a three Fletcher Hotel road trip of the Netherlands and was our base to visit Floriade and was a four-night package with dinner on the first and third nights. The hotel is in the refurbished and active harbour area of Huizen and beautifully landscaped. The room wasn't ready on our arrival at 18h00 but we were given a welcome drink in the bar by way of compensation. The staff were very polite and friendly but we suspect the breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were overstretched as breakfast was a little chaotic (particularly if arriving later); and our room wasn't serviced every day. The inclusive dinner was in the form of a tasting menu: excellent quality but small portions (barring the dessert). We also ate at the Italian restaurant which we can also recommend. Our main quibble with the room, although attractive and comfortable, was that it was not dark enough at night due to the nautical porthole on the door. This is a multi-building complex with separate accommodation blocks. We didn't find this a problem and could drive the car to load and unload. We took our own bikes and used the storage facility provided: good but only one key which had to be collected from and returned to reception - perhaps a rethink on that? We felt that package was very good value with a bottle of wine on departure. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

Great Hilton near Amersfoort. Rooms are great and with some excellent views over the Golf Course (from your Balcony 😎) Rooms are spacious and have a modern decor. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is good (apart from the Scrambled egg which is a bit hard/over-cooked 😕) and the Restaurant has a nice chilled feeling, so a great way to start the morning. The staff are really helpful (I forgot my Adapter and they found one for me 👍). The hotel is a bit out of the way, so you'll really need a car, but it's seclusion is what makes it so good 👍

The room we were given was one for people with a disability, which meant it was very spacious. The decor was nice, the beds comfortable, although a little soft. The bathroom was also spacious and had everything a disabled person would need. It didn't bother us we were staying in this room. We didn't have breakfast but had a coffee which was good. Because this room is on the ground floor just behind reception and next to the breakfast room we did experience noise. There is a 24-hour coffee and tea making facility in the breakfast room which is great. However, when we were staying, there were people in there even in the middle of the night, as we could hear the chairs being used (scraping sound which was very audible in our room). That got worse when breakfast service really started in the morning. It made sleeping a little challenging. We would stay here again, but would definitely ask for a room on a higher floor and further away from the breakfast room. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff were friendly.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this charming & comfortable hotel for 7 nights while I visited the Hilversum area. I booked a junior suite which had a large bed and plenty of room to stretch on the floor. The bathroom had a spa tub and shower plus soap, shampoo, lotion, etc. There’s a beautiful outdoor/indoor cafe/bar/restaurant. The hotel is walking distance to the train, a gorgeous park surrounding a pond with geese, and also some fantastic restaurants. The people at the front desk were lovely. I has zero problems and will most certainly stay there at again.

Large parking lot with free parking; directly next to the train station. My room was spacious with 2 single beds. I only used one; presumably it's possible to put the beds together to get a king-/queen size. There's a Nespresso machine in the room - I sure do appreciate coffee in the morning. An electric kettle is available on request. Unfortunately the hallways have a strong smell of old cigar smoke. And there's no elevator. My room was at the backside of the hotel with a view of the cemetery next to the hotel. To me it meant a quiet night without the noise of cars or trains. Maybe less quiet if you're a clairvoyant. The personnel is friendly but seemed inexperienced. They sure did their best, but one doesn't serve a milk coffee if you asked for a Latte Macchiato. There's also a rather limited choice of snacks and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) so we ended up taking a trip to the nearby town for food. Breakfast was OK - not great. Again, limited choice. Altogether a reasonable hotel if you appreciate a spacious and relatively modern room for one night. But find a restaurant in town if you want a decent meal.

All are good, the price is not expensive, the room is generous, the floor to ceiling windows are good. Clean and hygienic, the service has a smile. The room is the same as the picture, elegant and spacious

I had a terrible experience in this hotel at the end of August. Someone(s) broke into my room for 2 consecutive days with my door confirmed locked. The hotel didn't treat me seriously, they couldn't provide any convincing explanation or compensation. I went there for a business trip and had booked this hotel for 10 nights. The break in incident happened in the early morning 5:30am after my first sleep. I heard someone tried to open my door, but because I had locked it, so the intruder shaked the handle a few times, and eventually it did open!!! I went down and reported to the reception directly and asked if there was any CCTV. The staff said she didn't know...had to wait for her colleague to come back to answer me in the evening....by then i was told that there was no CCTV in this hotel...and they admitted it was one of their staff who broke into my room!!! I requested an explanation, the front desk only said it would not happen again. I requested to meet the duty manager, she said the manager would talk to me tomorrow....this is how they treated this security issue and code of conduct ”seriously”. Totally unacceptable. I could only go back to my room for the 2nd night. But then at 7:15am in the next morning, there was someone broke into my room again!! With a loud door closing sound, which i even more confirmed then the first time. The intruder went out as well before showing his/her face. It was unbelievable!!! I reported to the front desk again but they seemed not believe in me. Said it was not their staff this time and it was impossible to unlock the door with other cards. Long story short, it took me a whole day again in order to talk to the duty manager. And i personally showed her how to unlock my door using her card. She was finally speechless and arranged a new room for me. She said would investigate But I still could not receive a solid explanation in the next day and really felt unsafe. I was not able to sleep well and was super alert to different sounds. The next day the GM finally met me, but then still no compensation or with any gesture of apology. Didn't feel i was treated seriously so I decided to change the hotel for personal safety. They still charged me the fee for the 3 days. This was my worst hotel experience ever. I had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff greeted me warmly with smiles, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The rooms are modern and impeccably maintained, and it's conveniently accessible by car with paid parking near the Jumbo store. The breakfast was also delightful. I highly recommend this establishment.

This hotel will be 10+! Friendly and very helpful received by Myrthe, clean spacious room with fine shower, a delicious dinner and good breakfast. Service in restaurant is super-nice, you are always asked whether the next gang is desired. We had the Gooish women arrangement with a very fun bike route 👌
