"The hotel's location was an unexpected delight! It's right across from the cable car station, making trips to Sun Island incredibly convenient. There's also a subway station just across the street, and Central Street is only a ten-minute walk away. The restaurant was another highlight, impressively staying open until midnight. It's fantastic, with a great atmosphere and excellent facilities. The food goes beyond typical breakfast offerings – they have Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork), boiled shrimp daily, and even freshly pulled and cooked Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant staff even prepared yogurt with cute designs for the children. The room was a two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, perfectly accommodating our entire family. Highly recommended!"

"The front desk and room staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, odor-free, and the bedding and towels were spotless. The air conditioning worked well, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Having 24-hour hot water was a plus, and there's an elevator for convenience. They offer a free private parking lot. The location is excellent – you can easily walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street (even via an underground mall passage). Dining options are plentiful, with fast food downstairs, and there's a large supermarket directly across the street offering incredibly affordable fruits and pastries."

"This new hotel is quite clean, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Both the front desk and housekeeping always greet you politely and proactively. The complimentary hotel afternoon tea was excellent, and the breakfast selection was abundant. Staff would go to each table to ask if you'd like 'Guobaorou' (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce), and the daily fruit and cookies were also very nicely presented. The room size was a bit small, but aside from that, the location is superb. After booking, staff contacted us to inquire about our arrival time and prepared children's slippers in advance. Our two rooms were also arranged together, which was very convenient for a large family traveling together. The hotel's location is also great, just a 1-2 minute walk to Central Avenue. It's also very close to the airport bus stop. Overall, a very good experience, highly recommended!"

The environment is lovely, and the staff are incredibly warm and helpful, offering excellent and attentive service. "I booked the basic room type through Ctrip for 90 yuan. The room was on the basement level, requiring a walk down stairs. The room was large and spacious, but it was surrounded by walls, had no windows, and no connection to the outside. Don't expect an upgrade to a room with a window or on an upper floor if you book the basic room type through Ctrip. My companion had a leg injury and was limping in and out, but still had to climb the stairs to the basement level. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're traveling with elderly people, sick individuals, or anyone with mobility issues. Late check-out isn't allowed; you must check out by 12 PM. Late check-out costs 35 yuan per hour, clearly priced. Ctrip also doesn't offer their own extended check-out until 2 PM. We stayed in room 9 on the basement level. The air conditioning wasn't working well; the buttons wouldn't activate it. The joint between the bathroom and the main room was damaged, and my companion slipped there after it got wet, though thankfully wasn't injured."

"Our stay at the Novotel Harbin this trip far exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it for families. We specifically booked a family room, and the layout was incredibly thoughtful, divided into two separate bedrooms for maximum privacy – perfect for a family without disturbing each other. The entire room was meticulously cleaned, with every corner spotless and fresh. The bathroom design was particularly impressive; the toilet was in a separate cubicle, and the shower walls used a special Japanese anti-mold material, which looked clean and stylish, with absolutely no dampness, mold, or odors. The bedding was soft and thick, providing a fluffy and comfortable sleep, allowing us to relax completely after days of sightseeing. The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. Just across the road is the Daoli Vegetable Market, where you can easily pick up local snacks and ingredients. St. Sophia Cathedral is just a few minutes' walk away, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient and hassle-free. Both the facilities and service were excellent, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Harbin in the future."

"I came specifically to check out the Cloud Hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The room facilities are comprehensive, the wet/dry separation in the bathroom is very convenient, and the soundproofing is good too, so I slept really soundly at night. "The hotel staff lacked attentiveness, and the room was poorly equipped. There were no tote bags, sewing kits, or children's toothbrushes provided. Usually, when guests check in with children, the front desk proactively asks if they need kids' toothbrushes and slippers. This hotel neither offered nor provided them in the room. Furthermore, there's a sofa bed in the room. When I called the front desk to ask how to use it, they did send someone to open it for me, but without sheets or blankets. This is a common issue the front desk should anticipate. When a guest inquires about the sofa bed, they should proactively ask if bedding is needed to avoid the guest having to call room service for this reason. The room service staff, an older gentleman, arrived with a stern look and snapped, 'Anything else?' Who calls room service for fun? It's simply the hotel's own service falling short!"

GGuest UserHighly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!

The facilities are brand new, the layout is very well-designed, and the view is also excellent! [Strong][Strong][Strong] The service attitude was exceptionally good. HOWEVER, with that said, it doesn’t defeat the purpose of how a hotel should actually operate. This is my honest review: ✈️ LOCATION: (10/10) - It’s literally less than 5 minutes away from “Harbin Taiping International Airport” (HRB). - There is also a street filled with small restaurants and grocery stores, just one minute away from the hotel. We recommend eating at 云姐: 金麦手擀面 (Sister Yun: Golden Wheat Hand-made Noodles) 👍🏼 💁🏻♂️ SERVICE: (10/10) - They are very transparent about the lack of English speakers, and the use of Translation apps. It was quite easy to communicate with the staff despite the language barrier, because they had a real-time convenient translation app. - The staff were very accommodating, and them smiling a lot helped ease any discomfort. There was also a free transportation service to the airport, and the driver was equally as friendly. 🧴 CLEANLINESS AND AMENITIES: (8/10) - Much like with the rest of Harbin, I LOVED their provided cosmetics, as they always have a scent of tea to them, and the feel is good. They even provided small delicious snacks. - However, the reason why I didn’t rate it the highest is because compared to other hotels, it’s not the most clean-looking. Don’t get me wrong, it was clean, but it wasn’t the whole “spotless and sanitized” look. There was also A BIT of an odour once you enter the room. Just a bit tho, not to the point of causing extreme discomfort. Plus, it’s only upon initial entry, it fades right after. 🍲 FOOD: (?/10) - I have no idea, because we didn’t try their food, sorry. We went out to eat 😭 🌸 VIEW: (10/10) - Much like I’ve said earlier as well, the Hotel is beautiful but not as pristine as it looks, because the front is now filled with shafts, etc. - However, I still rated it the highest because the view from outside our window, and to the left of the Hotel itself was beautiful (at least in the winter, during snow season, when we came). It was a vast plane field (corn field, I assume) filled with snow, and you get a clear view of the sunset/sunrise, as well as the Tower of the Harbin Airport. All in all, I’d rate the overall stay a 9/10. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the Hotel to my friends, and my family and I would love to stay there again if we ever come back to Harbin ! ~

GGuest UserHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

MMediterraneanSeaFacilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

The shower is a bit small and only offers 2-in-1 body wash and shampoo. Overall, it was a good fit for easy access to the metro, cafes, and train station.
