They even gave out a fridge magnet for the Jay Chou concert!"

Service: The front desk staff seemed unprofessional, and service efficiency was low. Breakfast: Both days, only broccoli was served, with no other leafy green vegetables. I didn't see any steamed buns, siu mai, pumpkin, corn, or other coarse grains. The fruit selection was also limited. Overall, the experience was disappointing."

The lighting above the vanity in the room is terrible – just a dim, warm yellow light, which is really unsuitable for women trying to do their makeup. It was a struggle to get ready because I couldn't see anything clearly. The picture shows the room when I just checked in (it was an upgraded room type), and the bed looked like a cat had been climbing all over it. I have no idea why... Overall, it's great value for money if you're staying alone. I wouldn't recommend it for couples; I think it's too 'low-end' to bring your girlfriend here. The Atour Hotel next door would be a better fit."

Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations, and it's a perfect choice for anyone attending a show at the Olympic Sports Center. Next time I'm in Hangzhou for a performance, I'll prioritize this hotel again, and I recommend it to any friends coming for concerts."

The building is a historic villa dating back to 1934, meticulously restored to its original glory. The old brick walls and wooden beams retain the texture of time, creating a wabi-sabi aesthetic that's full of character. There aren't many rooms, and each is named after a flower or plant. The soft furnishings, made of raw wood and cotton-linen, feel warm and comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the lush mountain greenery. The amenities are thoughtfully curated, including a Dyson hairdryer and a Marshall speaker. The minibar is complimentary and restocked daily. Soaking in the bath while watching the tree shadows outside, you can feel yourself completely relax. The butler service is attentive and meticulous, and the Crescent Restaurant boasts an elegant ambiance. Located very close to Hupao Park, this is a quiet and secluded retreat by West Lake, perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy some peaceful relaxation. The experience was truly delightful."

"At Hotel Indigo Hangzhou Upper CBD, I felt like I stepped into the 'old times' by West Lake. The moment I opened the door, I was struck by the aesthetics – the perfect blend of retro modern and Southern Song dynasty charm. What surprised me even more were the Mini Bar and the welcome candies and fruits, all with a distinctive Jiangnan flavor. The bedding in the room was crisp and dry, the bathroom was spotless with no water stains, and even the carpet seams were impeccably clean. While preserving the inherent old Hangzhou charm of the room's design, it still maintained the high standards and quality I've come to expect from an InterContinental hotel. Furthermore, from the smiling greeting upon entry to the turndown service, everyone felt like an old friend. They consistently remembered the hot weather; the front desk recommended the nearest local restaurant and thoughtfully advised me on the shadiest route. Finally, I have to praise the Pian'er Chuan at the restaurant! I initially had low expectations for a 'local noodle dish' at a hotel, but the first bite was incredibly savory! The fresh crispness of the pickled vegetables and bamboo shoots, the tender sliced meat, and the springy noodles that had soaked up all the broth. Enjoying a steaming bowl of Hangzhou's local flavor in such an elegant setting – this is truly the right way to experience Hangzhou. It's already on my list for a second visit; next time, I'll bring my parents to try the noodles!"
