Elenka AngeWe only stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights – we were short on time, so we only picked the most interesting cities to explore. On the plus side: it was clean, comfortable, had a large and cozy bed, and pretty much everything you'd need. However, the lack of slippers was really noticeable. As for the negatives: like many large hotels, they have a paid system for early check-in and extra hours. But the most unpleasant thing was being made to wait two hours upon arrival, under the pretext that 'the room wasn't ready yet.' After a long and tiring journey, such a wait is a real test of patience. During our stay, there was noisy construction outside our window, which would definitely wake you up early in the morning.

Very nice hotel just near a tram and metro access have a nice view and spa and a awesome gym !!
However be careful the road is quite noisy so prefer a room with ocean view. And it was quite cold during our stay the night and there was no option to turn on the heat.
Those two points were a bit disappointing due to the price of the hotel but else it was good

Great little hotel round the corner from the train station. The rooms were basic and compact but really well designed and had everything you need. No tv or kettle in room but hot water and lemon water provided plus good free WiFi from streaming. The staff were friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this place for a budget friendly stay in Rotterdam.

Guest UserI booked quite last minute so quite an expensive stay but still good value especially taking into account the wide choice and excellent continental breakfast and a free drink as I am an IHG member.
Checking in staff patient and helpful which is always appreciated as an older woman travelling solo!
Well located near the main station in walking distance but also tram stops practically outside the entrance (if your case is heavy as mine was) and you can pay by swiping your debit card on/off as you do now on the tube -just so easy to do.
The shop in reception was well stacked with a good variety of items which were more expensive but you’re paying for the convenience.
The room was great and the air conditioning a real blessing in the heatwave.
I’d definitely stay there again and would happily recommend it to others especially solo travellers. I felt very safe there.

Impeccably clean and spacious room with full kitchen and a comfy bed. Extremely convenient location adjacent to metro station and in the centre. I liked the working space as well and made use of luggage storage without no issues. Frequent fire alarms was the only issue that I would complain of(had 2 in 4 days). Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here if I were to visit Rotterdam again

DaimingtianThis hotel is a great choice for business trips to Rotterdam. It's centrally located with lots of shops nearby. Both the bathroom and the room itself were quite comfortable. Being so close to the train station means you won't be rushing to catch a train to Amsterdam for your flight!

The location is convenient. I arrived by bicycle and was able to secure my bicycle the the racks in the square in front of the hotel. It is a 10-15 walk to central station, cube house, Oude Haven and other tourist sites. There is shopping precinct and major supermarket 10 min walk away. I went to a concert at de Doelen which was next to central station so easy to get to. I recommend doing to 15 min walk to the waterfront and getting the water taxi from Erasmusbrug as a cheap way to do a river cruise … the water taxi even goes all the way to Kinderdjik , the famous windmill area.
I stayed in the triple female only room. The was one other roommate with whom I had no problems. The room felt spacious. Each bed had its own light and charging point. There were no curtains though the board with the lamp and charging point acted as a privacy shield. Bedding is laid out on the bed and you make the bed yourself. Comfy bed. There were several showers and toilets located in the corridor as well as separate sinks. The shower had hot water …. Is the type you press the button to 30 seconds of water then press again which helps conserve water. Bring your own towel or hire one.
Rooms have keycard access. You need your own padlock for the locker in the room. The locker will not fit a big suitcase though my carryon sized luggage fitted ok. I was on the top floor in an annex type area where it was very quiet. I had no issues with cleanliness though I did notice an empty drinks container in the toilet for a couple of days.
There is a small area near reception with seating and small tables where it is possible to sit and eat your own food. There is a small kitchenette area with one fridge, kettle, microwave ,air fryer and a hot plate. Using the hotplate for foods such as pasta, rice, boiling eggs is permitted but not frying nor cooking smelly foods. It is very helpful to be able to use these resources for quick food prep, though keep in mind that you may need to wait at meal times and utensils are limited. There appeared to be some people living there who had their own cooking utensils.
Like many places in the Netherlands there is a steep staircase to get in, so even though there is a lift to get to the different floors, the first staircase will be a hurdle for those with a large suitcase.
Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

We stayed at Le Marin Boutique Hotel during our trip to Rotterdam. While the hotel is not far from Rotterdam Centraal, first-time visitors should plan their route in advance. We initially followed Apple Maps, which led us on a longer path, but there's actually a more direct route.
The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood, offering a peaceful environment. It's within walking distance to Chinatown, where you can find various dining and shopping options.
We appreciated the spaciousness of our room, which provided a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The decor is stylish, with a marine theme and dark tones that add a cozy ambiance.
However, some guests have noted that rooms can feel smaller than expected, and the dark interior may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, sound insulation between rooms could be improved, as footsteps from upstairs can be heard.
The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with a variety of options, though some guests felt it lacked certain basics. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location makes it convenient to explore the city.
Overall, Le Marin Boutique Hotel provides a comfortable stay with a unique atmosphere, suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil environment close to the city's attractions.

Guest UserThe bed was uncomfortable and too hard, and the lighting wasn't bright enough. Hygiene was okay, but there were no coffee amenities. The location is quite central, and the service was decent. Most facilities were available, so it's basically passable.
