We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Hotel Raito in vietri sul Mare! The hotel has a great pool, a well maintained garden and a restaurant where we used our breakfast where nothing was missing. Our room had a beautiful view over the Gulf of Salerno, both daytime and nighttime. We were very glad with this service! Beside this service, the staff of the desk, in the restaurant and near the pool were very friendly and willingly help us when we asked for it. We used the penddle bus a couple of times and that was an extra service to go to the city or to the beach of Vietri. We highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at Le Sirenuse solo for only one night leading up to a wedding in Ravello and am so glad that I did! The stay was basically flawless. An easy transfer organized by the hotel from Naples and a smooth check-in experience with Maria at the front desk kicked off the stay. I arrived before my room was ready, and Maria did a great job of reviewing my itinerary, explaining how to make the most of my limited time on-property and smoothly handing me off to various English-speaking employees before I arrived at the pool restaurant for lunch. The pool, bar and casual restaurant are the heart of the property because of their extraordinary views of Positano and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is truly one of the best views one could desire for lunch, pool lounging, reading etc. (and with views are clear and sunny most days the property is opened between April and October). Food across the board was excellent. I had a wonderful lunch at the pool (tomato salad and club sandwich) with generous portions, a nice bread service with housemade tapanade and Le Sirenuse olive oil, an amuse bouche and very attentive staff (e.g. they offered a table in the shade as the sun shifted midway through my meal, they brought another cocktail, olives and almonds to snack on after I finished my meal). La Sponda was a wonderful experience too. Elevated food featuring local ingredients, a flexible menu, live music and beautiful views (as with everywhere on this property). The service is what really stood out in a week full of great food — I was instantly recognized and greeted when I came down the stairs for dinner, the sommelier did an amazing job of pairing the a la carte dishes I chose with local wines, and the service was warm and helpful, but never overwhelming or pushy. I was in the base room as I booked a couple of weeks before my stay at a time when the property is generally sold out. The room was very comfortable, and had a nice view (albeit limited compared to the higher room categories). There was a festival in town that night so it was wonderful listening to the sounds of Italian music, Positano and sea breezes outside of my window while lounging in the room...and thankfully the sound insulation was great when it was time for bed. I loved the take-home gift offered in the room (I won’t spoil it), and all of the thoughtful touches, local handiworks and artwork throughout the property that extended to the room. It was basically a perfect stay. The only constructive criticism I would offer is that the gym is limited in the weight equipment it offers — it would be great to get a full rack of free weights to use as the one set of adjustable dumbbells that they have was in use while I was there so I had to wait a while, and the base rack only goes up to 20kgs or so. I would love to return and stay for longer. The hotel is a family heritage, and the service staff are very nice. It can be seen that they love this job from the bottom of their hearts... What a coincidence, I met their Michelin dinner. Naihua, until the finale, all dancers and carnivals 🎉, the whole atmosphere scene is like a fairy tale...perfectly interprets Italians' relentless pursuit of beautiful details! Recommend friends who come to Nanyi, you must come and experience it

The hotel is at a great location, surrounded by scenic spots where you can reach on foot. The hotel itself is also good, meeting the brand price positioning. Its cleanness, breakfast, facilities, and service comply with the standards.

This hotel was formerly a convent and is adjacent to a beautiful church, and the setting is serene and beautiful. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so accommodating and helpful that you could not ask for more. The room my wife and I stayed in was lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and the coffee was delicious. The staff were warm and friendly and the service given was among the best we’ve ever experienced. There is complimentary wi-fi ( a rarity these days with most establishments charging a small premium) . We had a lovely stay which was predominantly down to the staff and in particular a lovely lady named Theresa who always went out of her way and was so accommodating. Although the hotel is listed as a “Three Star” it feels like a “5 Star”. Stunning , and would not hesitate to stay here again.

What can I say about this hotel other than it is magnificent. We stayed for our wedding and honeymoon with our two young daughters and I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be the right place for young children, however I was totally wrong. Every single member of staff went out of their way to speak to my children, entertain them and make us all welcome for the duration of our stay. I didn't get any names but the young man at breakfast who was particularly wonderful with them showing my daughter where she could find seashells as she's fascinated by them and letting them play with his water guns. They made pancakes for their breakfast every day and high-fived them all the time. The room has the most amazing view, was spotlessly cleaned all of the time even after 9 of us got ready for the wedding in there and it was left looking rather chaotic. The walk through the caves to the beach is stunning and the solarium is a lovely spot to swim and catch some sun. The restaurant food was sublime. My only slight issue was that we left early in the morning and had requested breakfast boxes twice before checking out but didn't get them, and the noise levels from weddings in the hotel late at night was problematic for us getting the girls to sleep or if we wanted an early night because we were up early the next day for a trip. I think that perhaps the area where events are held is very close to the guests rooms. My daughter cried when we left and has asked to be back at the ”holiday house” every night since. An absolute dream of a hotel and a huge thank you from us all.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff but the best part of all was the view from our room - absolutely beautiful. Pool and beach area was nice. Funicular was appreciated. Location good, away from the hustle and bustle but just a short ride into the main town. Whilst we would stay here again, and would recommend, I wouldn’t rate it 5/5 as it didn’t feel like pure luxury. Great, but not luxury.

The Good Friendly helpful staff and a warm welcome. Exceptionally clean Beautiful stunning views from the restaurant and the rooms across the bay of Naples Easy walk downhill (15 minutes) into the centre of town. (But beware - a taxi ride from the grand harbour is €25. And €20 from town) Private hotel access down to the small fishing harbour via hotel. The Ok Friendly service at breakfast. Good coffee. Nice fresh fruit. Nothing exceptional - would have been nice to have had some different beautiful Italian breads other than same little rolls and sliced (sweet) toasting bread every day. Also a change in the hot Buffett - mushrooms, quality sausages (not hot dogs) roasted Italian tomatoes. The bacon was often undercooked. Omelettes and fried eggs are available on request. We had dinner the first night and didn’t repeat the experience. We are well used to Michelin star dining and appreciate great Italian food. We didn’t find either here. There were lots of staff milling around who didn’t seem to know what they were doing ( they may have been new staff being trained). Lots of whispering going on and we felt uncomfortable. The food was presented well - small portions on big plates and we filled up with bread - we were hungry! Our room had a most amazing picture window and a comfy bed. It was fairly spacious and very clean. There was no comfort to be found in the room however and on the rainy days when we would have liked to retire to our room and read we would have had to lie in our bed. Not good. All the furniture in the hotel looks good but it is hard and angular. This is not a comfortable hotel. Even in the bar area the design is for aesthetics rather than comfort. One early (rainy) evening we attempted to order a bar meal but were told we could only have a snack as the chef was preparing dinner and was busy. The bartender said he could ask the chef if we wanted. We would have gone back to our room and ordered room service from a limited menu but there was nowhere to have eaten any food that might have been delivered. Therefore we went back into town. On the one and only sunny afternoon we decided to go to the beautiful swimming pool Tge water was too cold to swim in - nice at the height of summer but not the end of May. The beds were uncomfortable. Staff bought another couple who were sunbathing food and drink but never came to ask us if we’d like a drink. Very odd. So in summary - some really lovely points but overall we were disappointed. This is no way a 5 star hotel and we would not return or recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Covo dei Saraceni - the staff was so helpful and our room was amazing, with a gorgeous water view. Our room was very large with a balcony which we enjoyed several times a day. We ate breakfast at the hotel every day and it was ample and delicious. We enjoyed the fresh juices, pastries, salad, meats and cheeses. One of our favorites was the carrot cake! We also ate in the dining room several times and again, terrific service, nice wine list and delicious food. Would highly recommend for a restful stay in Positano.
