CChangjiangdashayuThe main reason I booked this hotel is its unbeatable proximity to USJ. You literally walk out and in two to three minutes, you're at the park entrance. This gives you a huge advantage for morning queues, and if it gets too hot during the day, you can pop back for a break before heading out to play again in the afternoon.
The second major point is that the rooms here are the biggest among the surrounding hotels. You don't feel cramped or squashed, unlike those 'sparrow hotels' you often find elsewhere in Japan. It feels much more spacious and comfortable.
I didn't try the food at the hotel this time, but it looked pretty good. Plus, there's a shopping street right below the hotel, making it super convenient for both dining and shopping.
Overall, big rooms and the best location are this hotel's biggest strengths. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to USJ.

I forgot my room card when I went out, and he immediately made a new one for me, just needed to return it when I checked out. The hotel is right outside Universal City Station, making it perfect for a visit to USJ. There's a rooftop hot spring, separated for men and women, though I didn't go. The bathtub in the room was quite large anyway, so it made no difference to me.

GGuest UserAside from the small room, there's nothing bad to say. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Universal Studios entrance, located at the end of the main street, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle, and dining options are easily accessible. The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks, and ice cream, which was a very thoughtful touch. You can even make your own orange juice, ice cream, and pancakes, which the kids absolutely loved. From the window, you can see the Ferris wheel and the front of Universal Studios. Very satisfied!

SSoooooonThe hotel is very clean and well-maintained, though the room size is quite small, which is fairly typical for Japan. Amenities are conveniently provided at an amenity bar in the lobby, allowing guests to pick up what they need.
The location is one of the biggest highlights. Just a 5 minutes walk away is Temmabashi Station, which offers easy train access to Kyoto and other parts of Osaka. Directly opposite the hotel is Keihan City Mall, where you can find popular stores like Uniqlo, GU, and Muji, making shopping very convenient. Osaka Castle is also within walking distance, which is great for sightseeing. There are convenience stores such as FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so getting food or daily essentials is very easy.
Another plus is the Airport Limousine Bus stop located behind Keihan City Mall, which provides a direct ride to Kansai International Airport in about an hour for 1800 yen. Tickets can be booked online, and the hotel staff are helpful if you need assistance. This makes it especially convenient for both arrival and departure.
Overall, it’s a great choice if you value cleanliness, convenience, and accessibility. Perfect for exploring Osaka and making day trips to Kyoto too.

AAnonymous UserWhenever we're in Umeda, the Hanshin Hotel is always our family's top choice. The rooms are spacious, and they even come with a decent-sized entryway. The cleanliness is consistently excellent. Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserComing from Kansai Airport, you do have to transfer a few times on the subway. However, the hotel is very close to Juso Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. Juso Station has a food street, so dining is super convenient! It's not crowded around at night, so sleeping is very, very quiet! There's a convenience store at the intersection, and Don Quijote is just across the main road! There's also Daikoku Drugstore nearby! Although breakfast is simple, it changes a bit every day, which shows a lot of thought. You'll definitely be full and satisfied! The lobby also has vending machines with beer, drinks, and ice cream! All your normal needs can be met here! Personally, I think even though the location is a little out of the way, it makes up for it in value for money, and transferring subways is still very convenient~

HhoongmhAirport express, nankai line, is walkable to hotel. It is walkable from shin-immamiya station n doubutsuen mae station. Hence, easy to get around. Shinsekai is just next to hotel. Hence, lots of eateries. There is a diaso n donki round the corner. Zoo is also walkable and next to zoo is a garden with cherry blossom trees. The cherry blossom was illuminated at night. It was lovely. Whenever we come to osaka, we will stay at this hotel.

CChocoAlisonThe location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

I recently stayed at Serene Elegance Boutique Hotel during my trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations.
Location:
The hotel enjoys a prime location in the city center—just a 5-minute walk from the subway station. It’s surrounded by local restaurants, convenience stores, and major attractions, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and dining.
Check-in Experience:
The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade. The lobby was clean, beautifully decorated, and subtly scented, creating a relaxing atmosphere upon arrival.
Room Comfort and Amenities:
I stayed in a Deluxe King Room, which was spacious, well-lit, and tastefully designed in a modern minimalist style. The bed was extremely comfortable with crisp, clean linens. The room included high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a mini fridge, and a kettle—everything I needed. The bathroom featured a separate shower area, strong water pressure, and high-quality toiletries.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet offered a wide range of options, from Western-style dishes to traditional local fare. There were fresh fruits, hot porridge, eggs cooked to order, and baked goods. The dining area was elegant, and the staff were attentive, often checking in to offer coffee or tea refills.
Service:
The service throughout my stay was consistently excellent. Housekeeping was thorough, and any requests were responded to promptly. The staff were always friendly and professional, adding a personal touch to the stay.
Minor Downsides:
If I had to point out one small flaw, it would be the slightly thin walls—some hallway noise was audible in the evening. However, it didn’t significantly disrupt my sleep.
Overall:
This hotel offers fantastic value for money and is a great choice for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely return on my next visit to the city.

GGuest UserThis place is excellent, very close to the metro and surrounded by convenient stores such as 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, and Lawson. The room is clean, the staff provide great service, and the space is comfortable for 1–2 people. It’s also quiet and peaceful.
The hotel is located near the major Shin-Osaka Station, making it very convenient to travel to Namba and Shinsaibashi. I highly recommend this place, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
