"On the second day of our Chinese New Year trip, my daughter suffered from gastroenteritis and kept vomiting. When we checked into the Lotte Hotel, we met Mr. Dean at the front desk. Hearing about our situation, he helped us with an early check-in. Later, when we requested a late check-out, it was him again, just as warm and kind, and he was a great help. We'll definitely stay at Lotte Hotel again in the future."

"We paid extra for a high-floor room with a sea view. In the morning, when the curtains were opened, the sunlight was truly beautiful. At night, the city lights and the illuminated decorations on the beach were equally stunning. For first-time visitors to Haeundae, I highly recommend this accommodation. Right downstairs (at the elevator exit), there are two major convenience stores (CU and GS25). A few more steps lead you to a currency exchange, a Starbucks on the corner, and the Haeundae Night Market. The beach is just across the road. In the morning, a 15-20 minute walk along the beach will take you to Mipo Station, where you can find salt bread, the Haeundae Blueline Park (Sky Capsule), and the Haeundae Sky Luge. The location is incredibly convenient and not expensive. Just a note on check-in: you take the elevator from the 1st floor to the 4th floor, then transfer to another elevator to the 6th floor for check-in. After that, the hotel will direct you to your room floor. Finally, a minor drawback: the soundproofing really needs improvement. Since it's in a busy area, we stayed for two nights and were startled awake by the sounds of cars downstairs just as we were falling asleep (and we were on the 21st floor!). However, overall, the price, transportation, and location are all very convenient. This will definitely be my top choice for my next visit to Busan. 🤍"

"I had a great experience here. Worthy with the price. I have read reviews before I booked and I seriously think those who expects a 5 stars treatment for a 3 stars payment shouldn’t book here. After reading reviews.. 1) I am totally okay with changing lifts and managed my expectations. 2) I brought my own bedroom slippers but amazing they provided, just that it’s not disposable versions and I think that’s totally fine because it’s clean. 3) I brought own toothbrush and toothpaste because I know they won’t provide. 4) I brought own shower gel etc. too but to my surprise, they did provide! Not as per what I’ve read (as per photos) 5) I was also given large towels and was informed during check in that we need to request if we need more and that’s not a problem. Just open mouth to ask for one. 6) I requested and had a reasonable half beach view (cropped photo) as per uploaded image. Take note, however, 1) that the make-up room and do-not-disturb room buttons can be faulty.. the cleaner came into my room when I didn’t request for my room to be cleaned when I am away from hotel room, but thank goodness nothing was missing. So they actually have honest staff. 2) you do not need a card to access higher levels so anyone can come up. Ladies traveling alone has to be extra careful. Overall, I’m so glad to give a great thumbs up for 1) a half beach view 2) convenience stores just downstairs 3) so so near to night market !! 4) walkable distance to the Haeundae metro station 5) room is so spacious for 2pax. I will come again when I visit Busan. Thank you!"

"This feels like a luxury hotel, but the substance is lacking… 1. **No in-room phone.** If I wanted to call the front desk, I had to use my own phone to find the number in the booklet and dial it. 2. **Low floors are… well.** The 'ocean view' was useless. Some building's water tank and a Holly's coffee shop blocked most of it. I had to crawl on the floor, taking 5,000 photos, to get just one decent shot. So, if you're on a low floor, you'll have to crawl to see the ocean! Okay, maybe this is my fault for not paying more for a higher floor. BUT, the room photos in the introduction made it seem like there was an unobstructed ocean view, which feels like a scam. There weren't many hotel reviews, so I couldn't have known. I feel cheated. 3. **The biggest problem is privacy.** The toilet faces a window, and the jacuzzi and shower are also in front of full-length windows. Since it's a low floor, you can make eye contact with people in the cafe across the street. My bathroom breaks, showers, and jacuzzi use could all be public! I don't know if the windows are meant to be covered, but it felt very awkward. I had to keep the blinds fully down to use the bathroom and jacuzzi, which defeats the purpose of an 'ocean view' and felt very stifling. They told me not to close the jacuzzi window because of humidity, but the shower is right there, and I almost froze showering! Seriously, you'd think they'd put more thought into the design, even beyond the ocean view… 4. **The room is so big, but there are no mirrors anywhere** you’d expect one! Only the bathroom mirror, which made doing makeup and getting dressed in the morning incredibly inconvenient. 5. **I used a barrier-free room, but as an able-bodied person, I didn't feel any consideration for disabled guests.** Even I, a seasoned traveler in my 20s, had trouble distinguishing between the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I almost ran out of hot water in the shower trying to figure it out. The labels are tiny and on the back somewhere, so you have to really search. Couldn't they use dedicated bottles or at least proper labeling? 6. **There's no room service or similar services, but other services are expensive.** Maybe I just couldn't find it, but usually, hotel F&B services are in the in-room booklet, aren't they? There was nothing. Okay, maybe because it's a lower-star hotel, it wouldn't have it. BUT, late check-out extension costs 33,000 won (which isn't cheaper than other luxury hotels). So, the standard doesn't reach luxury hotel levels, but the service fees feel comparable to one. Breakfast also felt similar, so I didn't use it. Considering all of this, if you're just looking for a cost-effective place, it's okay."

"This hotel has a resort with a casino. It is well-known for its outdoor spa. It is a mimic of onsen in Japan. It is quite crowded during peak hours. Guest room is a typical hotel room. It has balcony. Bed is very comfortable. However, there is no toothbrush and other disposable amenities available. Toothbrush and toothpaste are available with fee. Check in process is straightforward but can be long queue during peak hour. Same as checkout"

"Beautiful hotel, the room is clean. Not much to say on the hotel. That is five star for me. For this reason I will focus my review on the “extra” services. Very good the presence of the rooftop pool, they have two pools. The big one had cold water (too cold to be used) and the small one had hot water. They also have a small gym in the basement, good idea. There is a laundry room but the washing machine was broken (that is what they told me) I also want to mention the bar they have inside the hotel (GROTTO bar). The barman is very nice, very professional. The drink were very well made. BUT I was really annoyed by the menu. In every korean business you can see full prices (like 4500 won) or prices divided by 1000 (e.g. 4500 -> 4.5 ). At grotto bar, the prices of the drinks are listed as “1.6”, so I thought 1.6 = 1600 won. I know it is veeeery cheap, but I also thought it was a way to offer a service to the hotel, with very cheap drink prices. At the end, when I paid I found out that 1.6 was equal to 16.000 and not 1600 like any other shop in korea. Why can’t you just write “16” on the menu? I find this almost like a way to “scam” customers. I find no logic, why would you write 1.6 and expect the person who buys the drink multiplies by 10.000 while ANY other korean business always multiplies by 1000. Just fix this, it is total non sense, very unprofessional."

The hotel has excellent underfloor heating, and the room size is quite large for a Korean hotel. There's a small convenience store downstairs, and the outlets are universal, which is a nice touch."

"🌟 [Busan/Haeundae] Even a Room Upgrade! A Honest Review of Haeundae Central Hotel, Featuring Bubbling Hot Spring Water (Highly Recommended for Family Trips) During the ***** New Year holiday (February 17-19), my family and I spent two nights and three days at Haeundae Central Hotel. To sum it up, ”It couldn't be more practical for a family trip.” I'll thoroughly review it for future travelers. 1️⃣ An Unexpected Gift: Room Upgrade & Ocean View Design 🎁 Even though I hadn't requested it at check-in, they gave me a room upgrade, which made my trip feel great from the start. The hotel's biggest feature is its ”Sensitive View Design for Guests.” Usually, unless you're staying in a front-facing room, you won't have a view of the ocean, but this hotel's terrace was designed with that view in mind, allowing me to enjoy the refreshing ocean view from my room. (It was so nice^^ I was completely satisfied!!) 2️⃣ ”Is this a hotel or a home?” All-Time Amenities 🏠 For families, the most impressive feature was the refrigerator. • Fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator: This isn't your average hotel minibar. It's spacious enough to hold a family of four for two nights and three days, with plenty of drinks, snacks, and fruit. It's a perfect option for families with children or those who just want a quick drink in the room. 3️⃣ Enjoy a private hot spring in your room ♨️ Going to Busan just to see the ocean? You need to relax too. • Free use of the hotel's sauna and hot springs is a given, and surprisingly, the rooms also have natural hot spring water. • Kids can safely enjoy a dip in the bathtub without having to go to the sauna, which was a huge plus for both parents and kids. 4️⃣ Park and walk, incredibly accessible 🚶 The location is truly a steal. • Haeundae Beach: Just a 1-minute walk. It's right in front of you. • Busan Sea Life Aquarium: 10-minute walk (10-minute public transportation) • Nearby attractions: Very close to LCT and Mipo Station (Blue Line Park), making it incredibly convenient to get to popular spots. #HaeundaeCentralHotel #BusanFamilyAccommodation #HaeundaeHotSpringHotel #HaeundaeOceanView #BuyMyOwn"

"The hotel was nothing short of a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, my kids were reluctant to leave, iand by the end of our stay, they were begging to stay longer! The location is perfect, making it incredibly convenient to explore the beautiful surrounding sights. One of the highlights of our stay was the attentive and welcoming staff. Their hospitality truly stood out, and I must mention they were quite easy on the eyes too! The outdoor pool area was simply dreamy, and the hotel also boasts three indoor pools complete with jacuzzis, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Safety is always a priority, especially when traveling with children, and this hotel excelled in that regard.
