Just been back again for the third year, and we’ll definitely be back next year. We love this hotel. Amazing value for money, great pool area and pool bar, we love the hot tubs. We’re always sad to say goodbye to the friendly lizards. The rooms are great, air conditioned, good soundproofing and black out blinds. All of the staff are great. We never want to go home on our last day.

Hotel really good and not bad location. No real nightlife but we knew that when booking. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. Entertainment was ok not great. Best part was the food! OMG so much choice! Downstairs pool was a good find, warm pool with jacuzzi. Loads of sun beds as well. No getting up early to secure as we could always get some! Highly recommend this hotel

What a wonderful hotel, I will definitely come back. The hotel is immaculate and the cleaners definitely earn their money. I was lucky enough to have a lovely room with a view of the sea and the mountains. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I stayed for two weeks and cleaners came in every day. The pools were lovely, I regularly hired a daybed which I thought was great value, for 30euros you got a round cushioned bed with shade and then 2 cocktails, a bottle of cava and a fruit platter. I only had breakfast in the hotel but again that was excellent quality. You could have omelettes cooked fresh, there was so much to choose from, I’m already missing my breakfasts!! I used the gym regularly which was good, I would go down first thing which seemed to be a quiet time. Staff in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful, especially the man on reception. It was an amazing two weeks I will be back ☺️

This hotel is excellent we loved every part of it. Stayed in room 620 ideal for reception/pool (level 7) and restaurant (level five) the hotel is spotless the staff are excellent and the sound of the sea each evening is soothing. Tips The hotel is a bit of a distance to the main town it’s very hilly and we only went down once you can walk a kind of cliff path but it’s full of stairs which after a while kills you and gets very tedious. Go out of the hotel walk to the top road go right and you will see a walkway with steps follow them down (they are called the Agatha Christie steps as there is a statue as she had a house there each step has a book title on them) just keep following the road down to the sea front loads of shops and restaurants plus the lido ( which is due to open soon) you can either walk back or get a taxi (4/5 euros) we didn’t bother going again as the Main Street above the hotel had many bar’s restaurants and shops very reasonable priced excellent service not much of a party time if you like that kind of thing down town will be better for you. Food Breakfast is amazing plenty of choice and easy to get through Evening meal got board quickly so used only a couple of times drinks expensive and didn’t approve they charged for water you pay for drinks on the way out or you can charge money to your room and top up when it runs out we preferred to pay as we go drinks wise we preferred to eat out and give to local family business etc. The pool The rule is no personal towels you need to hire them from reception ten euros (refundable with receipt) to change for fresh one one euro exchange but we found we could use both our own and the hotels the reason they like you to use them to show that you are staying there and haven’t sneaked in. The bar is good very professional service. The room Lovely views over the sea the bathroom has been the best I have ever had abroad lives the multi shower lights and the screen window trick great fun to play with tv is crap so we always take a fire stick power lead and remote control Wi-Fi is very good the codes allow two devices per ticket but you can have as many as you like we had three tablets two phones and a fire stick don’t forget to put in the code for your fire stick to make it work you might not get every thing you get at home but it’s better than the tv without it We booked with jet2 excellent transfers etc the excursions we booked was the body trip up the side of the island we managed to see whales and dolphins I do warn it will be a long day 11.45 we left and didn’t get back until eight pm if you don’t like rough conditions sea wise this trip might not be for you as four plus hours on a boat feeling sea sick isn’t much fun there is chance to swim off the boat the food was a bit naff not to everyone’s taste take a jumper it can start to get cold. I stayed here for 4 nights. I had a nice holiday apart from becoming ill from the dinner at the hotel. When entering my room it was spacious for myself. The only thing that surprised me was there was no fridge! It would have been nice to keep my drinks cool. Other than that the room was great. Housekeeping were also excellent. The food at breakfast was alright plenty of choice for everyone. Some foods were overcooked and dry. I booked half board and the foods available at dinner was ok but just like breakfast some foods again slightly overcooked. However during the night I became ill and had sickness and diarrhoea, this was definitely from eating the dinner as the rest of the day I felt absolutely fine. When I was better the next day I had breakfast from the hotel and ate out elsewhere in the evening and was fine. On the final day I came to my hotel room after spending last few hours in the area and noticed my keycard wasn’t working. Unaware of this it was deactivated due to checkout time being at 12pm. I was unaware of this until asking reception to activate my card again. One of the ladies at reception was quite rude she said jet2 (who I used) should have told me, I said it was more yourselves some form of communication about this would have been nice. The hotel is beautiful especially looking onto the pool area and seeing the palm trees. It is in a perfect distance to the beach literally across the road. If I was to stay in the area again I’d come back here but just only for bed and breakfast.

Recently stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights (16th to 19th January) in a fabulous location overlooking the beach and surrounding area of Puerto de la Cruz. We booked a Superior Room with Sea View and were not disappointed. Fabulous views from our balcony. Very welcoming staff on Reception, beautiful well maintained grounds, beautiful roof top pool area with adjoining Restaurant. First class food great quality in Restaurant and buffet breakfast (absolutely everything you could ask for and so fresh) locally produced. Rooftop Restaurant for lunch was fabulous. Menus extensive and all cooked fresh. Restaurant Staff Exceptional, courteous and friendly. Plenty of room around the pool, and no-one getting up early to bag a bed. Top Class Hotel and Staff. Just one minor point to make and this is not a criticism, we would like tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It's just our personal preference to get up early in the morning and sit on the beautiful balcony watching the world go buy listening to the waves crash with a cup of tea or coffee before going down to the fabulous breakfast buffet. The worst experience of my life,, DO NOT BOOK this hotel with RUMBO Good morning, In the month of February I made a reservation with the reservation code 1937253813 flight plus hotel Malaga Tenerife April 30 to May 5 On March 22 I receive an email with a change in the return flight and I answer that I do not agree He returns to me. To send another alternative and I tell you that it is not good for us either because I would fly at 8 am. On APRIL 30, I RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM YOU WHERE YOU TELL ME MAKE YOUR CHEKIN ONLINE I DID IT THROUGH YOU AND THERE IS WHERE I ACCEPT THE CHANGE FOR THE 6TH DAY!!! I am about to CALL YOU AND TELL YOU THAT I ALREADY DID THE CHE-ing online THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE, AND THAT I NEED THE NEW HOTEL VOUCHER. Calls are supposed to be recorded!!!! I REVIEWED IT AFTER A MONTH TELLING ME THAT YES YOU WOULD PAY FOR THE ADDITIONAL DAY!!' Apartment is very comfortable room, with balcony and table, indoor table, all kitchen comfort. Family is done almost every day. Very clean, very friendly staff, including at the reception. We were next to the restaurant on the floor, so a little noise in the evening, but next to enjoy the animations. The residence is well placed to walk in the city, car parked outside at a maximum of 5 minutes in adjacent streets. the staff explains how to go there ... Very happy with our stay.

Overall we had a very good experience at this hotel. All the staff were kind, pleasant, smiley and helpful, always. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was on the seaward side with a balcony and spectacular sea view, but very noisy as the Atlantic waves crash on the rocks directly below. We didn't mind this, but if you want a quieter environment, ask for a room on the garden side. Breakfast (buffet style) offered a lot of choice, including cooked food, fruit, pastries, cold cuts/ cheeses etc. The evening meal buffet was also perfectly acceptable, although we mostly chose to eat out as there are various tapas bars and restaurants within 10-20 minutes walking distance. Loro park entrance is a 15 minute walk away, and impressive black sand beaches and associated beach bars another 5-10 minutes. What we liked the most about the hotel was the extensive and beautiful sub-tropical gardens, where you can swim in 3 pools located at different levels on the site. Because the gardens are so large, you can find a quiet spot if you need one. There's also a pool bar serving drinks and light meals. There were a few downsides, but they were minor. The decor is a little dated and our room could have done with a refresh. To go up in the lift you need to use your room key card, but the card readers are not reliable. It can be a little frustrating trying to get the thing to work so that you can access your room. But these ******* were well outweighed by the positives. We felt that the hotel offered good value and we would stay there again.
