My Courtyard

The biggest feature of my courtyard is that it has a self-service washing machine. We put all the clothes accumulated from the previous trip into the washing machine. There are also plenty of drying racks, which are safe and worry-free to dry under the big rainproof umbrella. The room is large and comfortable. The facilities are complete. The housekeeper service is enthusiastic. The only drawback is that it is far from the pier, but the courtyard provides free cars to the pier.

There were a lot of mosquitoes, which scared my family, but everything else was fine.

The boss is very nice. He always takes the initiative to contact us every time we come back from the sea, and arranges the pick-up and drop-off in time. You can buy the sea trip from the boss, and the boss arranges it very well, without any trouble, and communicates directly with the driver. Especially the Mataking scuba diving is very worthwhile, cheaper than buying it on Ctrip. It is relatively quiet at night, and you can hear the sound of frogs 😂. The airport pick-up and drop-off arrangement is also good. In short, although it is tiring to go out to sea every day in Semporna, it is not annoying, and I also took a picture of a rainbow in the courtyard

The environment and conditions in Semporna are relatively good. The B&B provides a kitchen for cooking and the owner's pick-up service is very good.

The overall accommodation conditions in Semporna are relatively poor. Relatively speaking, the service and rooms of this hotel are very good. The location is far away by car, but the housekeeper is always available. Sometimes if you forget to arrange the pick-up in advance, you may have to wait for a long time. The convenience is definitely not as good as the pier. There are pros and cons. It is very quiet at night. I have never stayed at the pier in the town. The environment should be much better than the town of the same price. However, there was a long power outage in Semporna town one night, and there were really a lot of mosquitoes when I waited in the yard. For island hopping and taking a car, you can go directly to the pier Dragon Gate Inn to book island hopping and grab taxis. It is very convenient. It feels more suitable for families, or when the budget is limited, it is really cost-effective. Although it is a ten-minute drive from the town, the hotel has a car on call. The boss is super nice and will buy things and medicine for you. The service is impeccable.

Facilities: The pictures are all taken by me. It feels like a B&B. It looks like a country house on the outside with only one floor. The inside is relatively new, as if it was just installed in 2024. The bathroom is also very large. The floor of the bathroom is cement. This tropical place looks very cool. I stayed in a double room for 1 night and a twin room for 2 nights. They were both good and cost-effective. It takes about 15 minutes to drive from the town. Sisters in need and with a limited budget can consider it. My friends and I have always thought that living in a town is not so comfortable. Hygiene: The room hygiene is okay. After all, Semporna is just a small fishing village. As a transfer station for the main island, it is surrounded by too many islands with beautiful scenery and charming sea views, so it is famous. Environment: Country road, country house, quiet, natural and comfortable. Compared with the noise, smell, fishy smell, and garbage at the pier in Semporna town, I personally like it very much. Service: The boss's service is very good and he responds to every request. The local people who picked up and dropped off the car were hard-working and dedicated every day. They picked us up and dropped us off twice a day, not including other guests. The local butler is also very nice. I feel very friendly when communicating with him, and basic language communication is OK.

The courtyard is close to the town. There is a driver who picks up tourists. He is almost always available. It is very convenient to travel. The housekeepers are two local girls who are very enthusiastic. The overall environment of the courtyard is a bit remote. The house is built in the field, so there are some small insects. You can ask the housekeeper for insecticide. There will be some small animals at night, but overall it should be more comfortable than living in the town. The main price is not expensive, and you can cook your own food. This price is quite suitable. I will come again next time if I have the chance. I signed up for a 3-day island hopping tour with the boss. I met many black coaches and had a good experience.
