DudusimidaHygiene: The room was cleaned meticulously every day, a big thank you to the housekeeping staff.
Service: I had such a good experience with my best friend in January that I decided to bring my in-laws and kids back to the hotel. However, the breakfast restaurant service this time was quite subpar. The staff weren't proactive enough, and their service felt stiff and lacked warmth. One specialty breakfast item took an exceptionally long time to arrive. On one particular day, after we were seated, no staff member asked if we'd like coffee or tea. This was a stark contrast to my first visit, where staff even remembered our names.
Breakfast: The crackers at the cheese station were already stale. Breakfast has never been about a wide variety of options, but the pastries are exquisite, and the congee is also quite good.
Overall, my experience from check-in to check-out this time was quite mediocre compared to my first stay. However, I do want to commend the housekeeping staff.
Anyway, a huge thank you to the hotel for preparing an anniversary cake for my in-laws' room.

Guest UserMy girlfriend and I traveled from Hong Kong to celebrate our 2-year anniversary, and our stay at this hotel completely exceeded our expectations! I originally booked via Trip.com, but wanting to arrange a small surprise, I emailed the hotel directly about three days before our arrival.
Ms. Jane Chong handled my request, and she went absolutely above and beyond. Not only did she arrange a beautifully warm and lovely room design for the surprise, but she also proactively shared fantastic local recommendations to help us build a memorable itinerary. Her assistance truly made our trip unforgettable.
Throughout our stay, I was consistently impressed by the hotel’s meticulous attention to detail. For example, finding a glasses cleaning cloth provided in the room is a rare and thoughtful touch that most hotels overlook. The entire staff is exceptionally professional and well-trained; every team member who assisted us always made sure to ask if we had any other needs before finishing their service.
I also want to give a massive shoutout to Trista at the front desk. Since it was our first time staying here, she gave us a wonderfully detailed walkthrough of the room services and amenities. Later, when she was helping us view a higher-tier room setup, she showed remarkable consideration. She arrived and waited silently outside our door 10 minutes early, purposely not knocking until the exact time just to ensure she didn't disturb our rest.
This level of dedication, discretion, and personalized care is world-class. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a flawless experience, and I deeply hope management formally recognizes both Jane and Trista for their outstanding hospitality!

xfmhThe room was spacious, and the amenities were complete and brand new. Since I was here for my daughter's graduation, the hotel even specially prepared a graduation bouquet and a cake. The most pleasant surprise was the customized room cards, engraved with the university's logo – a truly delightful and memorable touch. I'd like to extend a special thanks to Angela from the reservations department, who meticulously inquired about our room preferences and travel arrangements before our arrival; her service was incredibly thoughtful. Overall, the staff at the front desk, room service, and housekeeping were all very enthusiastic and attentive. It was an extraordinary experience!

XiaobudianerererererThis was the best hotel experience we had during our trip to Hong Kong and Macau. I really care about service, and I went in with high expectations, but St. Regis truly lived up to its reputation as having the best service. The attention to detail in their service was astonishing and kept surprising me. Most of the staff were expatriates, and they were very prompt with pick-ups and drop-offs, and incredibly perceptive. The 6 PM evening ritual was quite grand. My husband and I were at the very back of the line, just hoping to grab a glass of champagne to try, and the front desk staff immediately brought one over to us. They were thoughtful, professional, enthusiastic, and gentle. Fruits and coffee were delivered whenever we wanted. The room was very clean and beautiful, and directly across from a mall where we could eat. If this hotel were in mainland China, I'd definitely want to stay here repeatedly.

zf5522The Grand Lapa Macau, as a long-established hotel, excels in being family-friendly, making it an excellent choice for families with children.
- **Family-Friendly & Pool:** The hotel is very attentive to children's needs, providing kids' slippers, toothbrushes, and other amenities. There's also a kids' club and indoor/outdoor play facilities. If your kids enjoy swimming, the heated outdoor garden pool with slides and a dedicated children's pool is a fantastic place to splash around. However, since it's open-air, it can't be used on rainy days.
- **Location & Convenience:** The location is incredibly convenient, situated on Avenida da Amizade on the Macau Peninsula. It's within walking distance of Sands Casino, Fisherman's Wharf, and Lotus Square. The Macau Grand Prix Museum and Science Center are also nearby. Plus, there's free shuttle service to the airport and Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, or it's just a short taxi ride, making getting around hassle-free.
- **Overall Experience:** Even though it's an older hotel, the facilities are well-maintained after renovation. The Portuguese-style garden environment is very pleasant. The overall service is friendly towards both families and the elderly, making it a great family-friendly option for a relaxed stay while exploring Macau.

YanbianguojiaMy appreciation for the Mandarin Oriental brand led me to visit the Macau property 🇲🇴 after my stay at the Hong Kong one, eager to experience its unique charm once again! Each Mandarin Oriental hotel in every city has its own distinct culture and character. The facilities at the Macau MO are generally a bit older and relatively simple, and the rooms are smaller than those in Hong Kong. However, they are well-maintained. This time, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a higher floor, and the soundproofing was excellent. Many thanks to the reservations department for their efficient replies and thoughtful service, which made this trip possible (it was almost canceled due to a thunderstorm ⛈️ warning). The front office staff provided warm and detailed service; a special thank you to Forrest for the care! The in-room service was particularly impressive. Every staff member was well-trained in etiquette and manners, and they responded promptly. The turndown service was especially warm and welcoming! For travelers who aren't keen on gambling, the Macau MO is an excellent choice. I would definitely choose it again and recommend it to others!

1. The check-in process at the front desk was chaotic. After receiving my room card, the staff didn't bother to inform me that the elevators were divided into high and low zones. I went straight to an elevator, only to discover I was in the wrong zone after going up. Already tired and wanting to rest, I had to go back down and switch elevators, which was a huge hassle. What made it worse was that the front desk staff clearly saw me heading to the wrong elevator but didn't say anything. Their lack of proactive service was very disappointing, and it really soured my overall check-in experience.
2. I went to a concert and left my mom alone at the hotel. After she returned from the supermarket, she noticed someone had entered the room – the pillows were tidied, and slippers were left out. However, we hadn't requested any turndown service. I don't understand why someone would enter the room without permission; for a hotel of this size, it's quite unacceptable.

Escaping the hellish routine of work, my partner and I hid away at the Grand Coloane Resort for a day to recharge. 🌊
The breakfast buffet was all-you-can-eat, so no need to rush; we could slowly fill our stomachs. The pool view was absolutely stunning; soaking in the water and feeling the sea breeze, all the fatigue from overtime work just vanished. Far from the city noise, it was just the two of us, recovering and rejuvenating!

Sandao.
The environment was good, for 200 patacas for a one-night stay in Macau, a big bed, and a private bathroom – it was more than enough. If you're out late in Macau, it's definitely more comfortable to stay overnight. The front desk staff was very gentle and patient. You can dry clothes on the rooftop. The only thing is this room was on the first floor, next to a masseuse, and an older masseuse was a bit... overly friendly.

The room service was excellent, incredibly friendly and professional, far exceeding expectations. The 30+ strong delegation from the University of Brazil was extremely satisfied and said they would return here on future visits to Macau and recommend it to others. Every visit to Macau has been a 100% positive experience. Many thanks to the hotel team for their thoughtful and professional service. Especially the power outlets, which can accommodate various needs, are a big plus and very international.
