Xianbenna in China, Ping Mountain Canyon Travel Guide

Transportation Guide: In Enshi, you can take a coach to Hefeng which takes about two hours, and then transfer to a coach to the scenic area which takes about an hour. On the return trip, make sure to leave the scenic area before 17:00 to catch the bus. This might cause a slight delay, so if you are traveling with a group, it is recommended to carpool or charter a car, which will save a lot of time. Accommodation and Food Recommendations: You can stay in Hefeng, get up early to go to Ping Mountain Canyon. Staying in Hefeng is relatively convenient, there is a pedestrian street nearby where you can walk around, find a local restaurant that is economical and tastes good. Tour Route Recommendations: Once you arrive at the scenic area, just follow the signs. There is a glass-bottom boat on the lower plank road, and the water there is as beautiful as an emerald. Continue walking and you can take a wooden boat, where the boatman will introduce the scenery along the way. Suggested Time for Visiting: The whole trip takes about 3 hours, try to avoid holidays when it's too crowded, as it will affect the mood for appreciating the beautiful scenery. Practical Tips: Be careful when going downstairs, as spring water may fall from time to time, and the plank road stairs are slippery, so wear slip-resistant shoes. The 'Heart Shore' is at the end when you are about to leave the valley, inside a cave. It is advised to check the weather in advance before setting out, and be sure to choose a sunny day to visit.
