Van Gogh Reappears

This year marks the 170th anniversary of Van Gogh's birth. From April 29th, the multi-screen immersive digital light and shadow exhibition - "Van Gogh Reappears Van Gogh Alive" the 90th global city special commemorative edition is open to the public at the Shanghai World Expo Museum, with thousands of square meters of space digitally displaying Van Gogh's life. "Van Gogh Reappears" arrived in Shanghai before the May Day in 2023. As the special exhibition of the 90th global city, it embarked on a special commemorative journey with the Shanghai World Expo Museum full of art and design. "Van Gogh Reappears Van Gogh Alive" exhibited nearly 3,000 Van Gogh's paintings, manuscripts and letters in a digital light and shadow way, allowing the audience to follow his colors and emotions and experience his ups and downs in life. It creates a 600 square meter immersive light and shadow art space. Works such as "Sunflowers", "Dr. Gachet", "Starry Night", "Night Cafe", "Iris" and so on, from sunny landscapes to enchanting night scenes, from rural laborers to blooming flowers in the fields, towering trees, from portraits to still life. Van Gogh's masterpieces that radiate vitality, after the colorful animation visual effects, the brush strokes and colors are more vibrant.
