Bangtuo Temple is located in Hemuda Township, Zangtang County, Aba Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 32 kilometers away from the county seat. It was built in the Yuan Dynasty and belongs to the Ningma (Red) monastery of Tibetan Buddhism. The existing cultural relics include the Lama Tower and the stone inscription Tibetan scripture. The Tibetan language of Bangtuo Temple means "the temple on the grass dam". As the name implies, the surrounding mountains and clear waters are beautiful, birds and flowers are fragrant, and the ancient temple is hunted by the fragrant. The temple is backed by Zhanbala Mountain, and the tributary of the Dadu River is Quhe. Looking at Xiangshan stretching out its long nose and drinking, Qudu River water, curved the river into "U" shape, wonderful. Zhanbala Mountain stands like a statue of a god Buddha, famous Buddhist tantra practice holy place Mican practice cave, fairy cave, Gesar practice cave, Shiwala heritage practice cave, auspicious eight treasures, turn king seven treasures distribution among them. Legend has it that a saint from India in the 4th century BC came here to practice Buddha.
