Baodingtianzhu Church Review

Originally known as Baoding Beiguan Catholic Church, the predecessor of Baoding Catholic Church on Yuhua Road. The church was completed in 1905 and is named "St. Peter's St. Paul's Church", adjacent to the Governor's Office of Zhili. The whole building is Roman style, magnificent and elegant.

The existing Catholic churches are all French-style buildings, combining the style of Chinese architecture, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters. In the summer of 1997, the church self-funded, changed the roof to the tiled iron, but the main building has not changed, and still maintains the original style. In 1993, the church was listed as a cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province.

Baoding City Catholic Church was built in Guangxu 24 years (1901 AD), expanded in Qing Xuantong 3 years (1910 AD), named "St. Peter's Temple", built by French missionaries. It is currently a cultural relics protection unit in Hebei Province.

保定天主教堂就在钟楼附近，非常的醒目。当我还当心是否让我入内参观时，一个漂亮的工作人员非常热情的邀请我进来参观。这幢宏伟的建筑始建于1901年，目前为河北省重点文物保护单位。

保定天主教堂位于直隶总督署和大慈阁之间，已经有123年历史，是由法籍传教士所建的一座精美罗马式教堂，从远处看气势恢宏，但周边的临街商铺影响美感。
