Dharahara is its Nepali name. Its famous s for its historical effects from Bhimsen Thapa. It was supposed to be the tallest point nepal. Its located in busy area near Sundhara.

Built in 1832, the 62-meter-high tower is the tallest building in Kathmandu, with tickets for foreigners reaching Rs 299. There is no elevator, visitors must climb 213 steps on foot, the tower is Shiva's little shrine, and the observation deck is located at 200 steps.
