Church of Aghios Andreas Review

Located on the seaside, St. Andre's Church is a Greek Orthodox church built in 1908 in the traditional Byzantine style. It is currently the largest church in Greece and the second largest Byzantine church in the Balkans, and contains some relics of the apostle St. Andre's.

Located on the hill of Saint Andre, the largest Orthodox church in Greece, the blue onion is very distinctive, the appearance is magnificent, the interior is tall and majestic, it is worth a visit, highly recommended.

Church of Aghios Andreas or Cathedral of Saint Andrew is a Greek Orthodox basilica in the west side of the city center of Patras in Greece. It is dedicated to the First-called Apostle of Christ, Saint Andrew.Construction of the Greek Byzantine-style church began in 1908 under the supervision of the architect Anastasios Metaxas, followed by Georgios Nomikos. It was inaugurated 66 years later, in 1974.

The Church of St. Andre stands next to the seaside road, brightly colored, special shape, very eye-catching, only five minutes away from the train station. At present, the largest church in Greece and the second largest Byzantine church in the Balkans have preserved some relics of the apostle St. Andrea~
