树正瀑布的下游，因为河流坡度的变缓，水流不再湍急。河道中遍布着小而矮的古树，好似间隔一般，将完整的河面间隔成不同的海子，形成群海状。

树正群海景区是九寨沟秀丽风景的大门，从这里开始共有海子大约40多个，是九寨沟海子最为集中的地方。著名的有芦苇海，火花海犀牛海等，更有像树正瀑布，若日朗瀑布这样的瀑布群，大家共同构成了这里一步一景的美丽景色。
