Vesterbro Review

Walking through the front of the "mass pit" today, the sky is high and refreshing. Opposite is the SAS building. Follow Vesterbrogade Street to the town hall, and pass the Hard-Rock Bar and Tivol Playground on the right hand side, and cross Andersen Avenue to the town hall square. We looked at the statue of Andersen, which sits on the side of the town hall, and saw him wearing a hat, holding a book in his right hand, and carrying a stick in his left hand, looking sideways into the distance, as if he were thinking of a new fairy tale. Behind the sculpture is a vast boulevard, and we leaned carefully on the side when we took a photo for fear of disturbing the writer's reverie.
