Alexander Garden is a rectangular park outside the Kremlin Red Wall. It is one of the favorite places for Moscow to rest and play. The Manesh underground shopping mall and square now built are integrated with the garden, and fountains and sculptures are everywhere. In the garden, there is the famous tomb of the Unknown Martyrs, built on the eve of the Victory Festival in 1967. There is a torch in front of the tomb, and the flame that remains unquenched from the time it was built to the present. The tombstone is engraved with the words: "Your name is unknown, your merit is eternal." Foreign delegations visit the tomb of martyrs and lay a wreath. Many moscows come here when they marry, and new people offer beautiful flowers to unsung heroes with reverence.
