This church is located on the southwest side of Cathedral Square of the Moscow Kremlin in Russia, where it connects directly to the main building of the complex of the Grand Kremlin Palace, adjacent to the Palace of Facets. You can't see much inside but the outside is very impressive.

The Annunciation Cathedral is the only Cathedral in the Kremlin not created by the Italians. This Cathedral served as the Church for the Tsar and the Tsar's family.

The Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles forms part of the same building as the Patriarch's Palace The Cathedral forms the grand entrance to the luxurious Palace. The ground floor of the Palace and Cathedral now houses the Museum of 17th Century Life and Applied Art, which contains a number of icons from various of the Kremlin cathedrals

This is the cathedral that the tsars used to attend. It's a beautiful piece of architecture inside the Kremlin walls. It's not as large as some of the other cathedrals in town, but it is a beautiful work from the 1400's. It's worth the stop on the Kremlin tour.

Part of the Kremlin. I found it impressive from the outside and very ornate inside.

    Original Text

The Cathedral of the Twelve Apostles is part of the same building complex of the Patriarchal Palace, and its construction date from the 17th century. At present, the Palace and Cathedral's lower floor is a museum with objects from the Kremlin cathedrals, furniture and the church suits of the time.
