Far away from the Drum Tower is the Bell Tower. The Bell Tower in Xi'an is the largest, oldest and best preserved of the existing similar buildings in China. The door, fan and window carvings of the bell tower in Xi'an are exquisite and complicated, showing the decorative art prevailing in the Ming Dynasty. There are 8 reliefs on the doors and fans of each floor. Each relief contains an ancient allusion.
