Dormition Cathedral Review

Located in the corner of the Church Square in the Kremlin, the Ascension Cathedral has four golden domes and is very beautiful in appearance. The interior of the church is a coffin for the Orthodox Patriarch and has a long history, but the interior is under renovation and maintenance.

The Ascension Cathedral is located in the Kremlin, on the north side of the church square, on one side is the Ivan the Great Bell Tower and the czar cannon, and on the other side is the Church of the Virgin. The church has 5 golden domes, which are very conspicuous and the interior is the coffin of the Orthodox Patriarch.

One of the Kremlin churches, with five golden domes. The Kremlin's Assumption Cathedral is the most important cathedral in Russia, the mausoleum of the Moscow metropolitan and Patriarch. The coronation of the Russian ruler was held here, and many major events in Russian history have occurred here. There are seats for the czar and queen to pray, precious murals and sacred objects. No photos are allowed in the church, but there is a Chinese commentary list.

Located on the north side of the cathedral square, the five golden domes are very eye-catching from a distance, the white exterior walls are slightly low-key, unlike the luxury of St. Vassili's Cathedral, the interior of the church is very beautifully decorated.

The Ascension Cathedral, located on the north side of the cathedral square in the Kremlin, is an Orthodox church. From 1547 to 1896, the coronation of the Russian monarchs was held here. Tickets for the internal visit are already included in the large ticket for the Kremlin 500 rubles/person. We happened to meet a Chinese tour group when we visited the church interior, so we listened to the tour guide and visited for about 25 minutes.
