It will be a fantastic experience if you choose the right time to avoid the summer crowds. You can rent a wetsuit, breathing tube, mask and flippers and drive to the beach. Parking was difficult when it was overcrowded and the beach was crowded, but we came in early December with a good weather and not many people on the beach and water. Well worth it.
