Mancheng Han Tomb, also known as the world's first cliff tomb, is the largest, most complex and most complete cliff tomb found in China. The Tomb of the Han Dynasty is situated on the Lingshan Mountains, about 15 kilometers away from Baoding. The Lingshan Mountains are an isolated mountain on the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains. The road to the Han Tomb is very good. According to the navigation, we came to the parking lot of the scenic spot. The temperature outside the car is 41 degrees. It's extremely hot. There are few cars in the parking lot. But the sight is excellent. On the opposite side of the parking lot is a group of hills. This is Lingshan Mountain. It is said that one group is because the terrain is so peculiar. There are three hills in front of you, two in front and one in front. In the latter part, it can be said that it is like a chair or a treasure. The Han tomb is located on the top of the hill in the middle. It's really the feeling of a geomantic treasure. There are also several choices for visiting the Han Tomb, such as walking, going up and down by cable car, sliding down by taxiway. In such hot weather, it is estimated that only the cable car is acceptable for us. The ticket is 80 yuan, and the cableway is 50 yuan. With the seniority certificate and the student certificate, the ticket can be half-price. The ticket is bought to enter the gate directly. The road at the foot of the hill is covered with trees, flowers and grass, and beside a road. In the green bushes stood half-human statues of various animals, and on the way was a tall official statue, which seemed to have been moved from other places because they were arranged only on one side. On both sides of the ropeway, such as the hillside of the armrest, the lower ropeway turns to the left and has a circular mountain road, which overlooks Mancheng County Town. After a few minutes'walk, the left hand first sees a cave door. The sign on the door says "The Mystery of the Ancient Ages is thus opened" which was originally the site of the discovery of Mancheng Seoul Tomb. The discovery of the Han tomb was accidental. In May 1968, a PLA unit was preparing to construct the tomb. After opening a cannon, it heard a dull sound and found a cave with various buried objects. It was then handed over to archaeologists for development. Guo Moruo, a famous archaeologist, had also personally excavated the tomb. The seal of King Zhongshan was found in the tomb, but which King Zhongshan had also conducted a lot of research. It's final. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, there was a small country established by the Northern Di Xianyu Department in the west-central part of Hebei Province. Because there were mountains in the city, it called itself Zhongshan State and was destroyed by Zhao State. More than 70 years later, Qin unified the county system under the world. In the past, the land of Zhongshan was under the jurisdiction of Hengshan County. In the early Han Dynasty, Qin system was inherited, but the county system was parallel with the feudal system. Gaozu of Han changed Hengshan County into Zhongshan County. Liu Qi, Emperor of the Han Kingdom, was the son of the first generation of Zhongshan King (Liu Sheng was the fifth emperor of the Han Kingdom, Liu Qi, from 156 BC to 141 BC) in the third year of BC (154 BC).
