Not far from the old city of Montreal, the Royal Mountain Park is a forest green area, and there is also a small lake; it can be taken from different directions, there are steps; the main point is the top platform overlooking the entire Montreal.

The Royal Mountain Park is about 7 kilometers away from the old city of Montreal. The terrain is relatively high and overlooks the city. The park is very large and you need to climb some steps to the observation deck. There are also green grass and lakes in the park, so you can set aside half a day.

There is a 30-meter-high cross on the top of the mountain, which is very eye-catching. At night, it is even more dazzling under the colored decorative bulbs, like the stars of the night sky silently protecting this beautiful city. Part of the park was built as a cemetery, and the silent tombstones on one side stood neatly on the ground. Although the scene was a bit bleak, it made people feel solemn and peaceful, and the last dignity of the deceased was preserved.

Known as the most romantic place in Quebec, it has a beautiful heart-shaped lake. We hiked for 3 hours to feel the forest. Figure 8 ⃣️ is a crystal orchid (as its name, crystal clear as crystal, belongs to the perennial rotten plant of the Deer's Hoodaceae. The peculiar thing about this plant is that it has no chlorophyll, so it cannot be photosynthesized like other plants. But it has a way of survival, it is by absorbing the nutrients of rotten leaves to obtain nutrients, sustain life, and therefore, crystal orchid is known as the "flower of death".

The Royal Mountain Park is the source of Montreal's name. The scenery is average, that is, there are many foreigners running and exercising on the mountain road. Two places are especially recommended: (1) After going up the mountain from MiGill University, there is an observation deck overlooking the panoramic view of Mengcheng. There is an old-fashioned building on the side of the observation deck square. There is a self-service restaurant where you can buy simple meals and drinks, and provide self-service microwaves. (2) On the other side of the mountain, there is a lake. There is a big lawn on the lake! The scenery is very good (I arrived there at the end of August). In particular, at the highest point of this mountain, it is a launch tower, which is disappointing.
