Nha Trang Water Puppet Show (The Nha Trang Water Puppet Theater) is a vibrant and wonderful show that shows the daily life of local farmers, traditional Vietnamese dance and mysterious legends. The folk show dates back to the 11th century, when villagers used handmade puppetry and fun after irrigation and flooding the rice fields of the Red River Delta (Red River Delta), which was also used for the king's birthday ceremony. The Nha Trang water puppet show is staged at the Tran Phu Cultural Palace, where the show combines colorful puppetry, light shows and traditional music. The stage is a waist-deep pool, with 400 puppets controlled by poles from professional puppet operators hidden behind huge screens, performing various actions. In just 45 minutes, viewers can enjoy 14 scenes, including frog catching, fishing, children's play, rice planting, folk dance and boat racing. There is also a scene reminiscent of Vietnam's famous legends, telling the story of the folk hero Le Loi in the 15th century. Legend has it that he was given a sword by the gods to resist foreign invaders. After repelling the invaders, Kim Quy (Kim) came to Le Loi from a lake in Hanoi and recovered the sword. Now the lake is called Hoan Kiem Lake (Ho Hoan Kiem), a famous attraction in Hanoi.
