With memories of Peter Frampton - History Comes Alive! In fact, so much so, that Gayle and I stared at one the life size wax historical figures, and thought for sure that the guy was moving!The Saga Museum was just a short walk from our Hotel and turned out to be a pleasant and educational surprise. It's a Viking Museum that intimately recreates key moments in Icelandic history, and which give a compelling view into how Icelanders have lived for more than a millennium. From the time of the earliest settlers, history is brought to life in a unique and exciting way, with life-like wax wax figurines throughout various touch points. An audio guide leads you though the whole thing, and before you know it, you're in the gift shop wondering how to enhance your Viking cred.

Me gustó mucho este museo pues está muy bien preparado y explicado para entender la cultura islandesas.Las sagas son las historias culturales que cuentan las leyendas de los primeros pobladores de Islandia así es que el museo es todo un viaje por la época vikinga. La más importante es la saga Njall.
