St Mary Redcliffe Church Review

A marvellous gothic church with an extremely interesting history. The Mary Redcliffe is just a short walk from the harbourside. Though it is old, the church has a lovely warm feeling. You are made welcome straight away by the volunteers who provide you with a laminated guide which you return before leaving. There are some fascinating stained glass windows and you must see the wooden altar shaped as a boat. This is a working parish church with a difference.

the church is located on the roadside, it looks very attractive and historical, anyway ir needs some maintenace.

Built in 1140, it is one of the oldest and best preserved Gothic churches in the UK. It is located in the garden of the city center. The "branched rib" dome structure inside the church is unique in the UK.

St Mary's Red Cliff Church in Bristol is on a cloudy day in Bristol, cloudy days make the church look more solemn.

The scenery is pleasant, very good choice, I like this place very much!

On the way from the train station to the city, the church is particularly impressive. The whole building may be significantly taller because of a relatively high platform on the side of the road. The huge clock tower has become the highest point in the surrounding area, and the architectural style of the church as a whole is also relatively heavy. The beautifully designed glass on the stairs is eye-catching.
