    5/5Outstanding

Days Inn does not have a breakfast and so we googled to see what was close. Chose this and thoroughly enjoyed!! Sat at the counter and watched as the two chefs created all meals on a grill. It is a pleasant glimpse of the old style diners I remember from the 50s. This one had a picture of NYE 1930 above the grill. Awesome food and pleasant staff! Very Nice! We will be back!

I had a hankering for Biscuits and Gravy with some eggs and some pork products. Looking at some of the reviews, thought I would try it, and they delivered much to my satisfaction! There are no tables. There are 12 bar seats and you watch the madness, that is.... the short order cooks doing their magic, and the waitresses taking care of the customers. It is an old and greasy dinner. I think there has been little to no upgrades in the kitchen in 20+ years. I ordered the the Old South Sunday, which includes 2 Biscuits smothered in Gravy on one plate, then 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 bacon, & 2 sausage patties on another plate for $11.99. It was worth every penny! The seating is tight. If you are worried about your personal space, this is not the place for you. If you like sitting next to someone and chatting them up, bam!... this is the place for you. A person sitting next to me had the classic Steak & Eggs, which looked delicious. The person eating it couldn't stop complementing the meal and ate it in about 5 minutes, then helped his girlfriend eat her meal. Thank you for a great meal and atmosphere.

    4/5Excellent

We really liked this place, only counter seating inside but several tables outside. I understand they are expanding. Food was really good , had the 3 stack pancakes with chocolate chips and pecans, asked for extra pecans too. They were delicious and I did not even use syrup. Loved the biscuits, never had them grilled before. I would love to try the funnel fries sometime. Because of Mother's Day I was given a box of chocolates by a very nice lady. Take a look at the counter and where they do the cooking/ pretty amazing they can do it all in a small space.
