A must see place and you will definitely see some pandas and other animals too but it is extremely crowded with long lines in peak summer season. Highly recommend going in Spring or Fall when crowds aren’t as bad.

✨🐼My friend and I arrived early in the morning, and there were no lines. All the pandas were active, and some were eating. I recommend arriving early in the morning! Then you can take a taxi to the Zoo (we liked it even more there 😅)

The front desk manager was amazing, I wish I knew her name! I'd booked a 399 RMB room, but they upgraded me to a deluxe executive king room, probably because they were short on standard rooms. The room itself was fantastic after I checked in! And the breakfast selection was incredible! Seriously, so many choices it was dizzying and overwhelming in the best way possible. Full marks! Highly recommend! Plus, you get a beautiful night view! It was stunning!

A very satisfying stay! We brought our child from Chongqing to Chengdu to see the giant pandas. Xiao Qin at the front desk and Xiao Yi from housekeeping were incredibly warm and attentive. When checking in, the front desk gave us direct bus tickets to the Panda Breeding Research Base, which was super convenient. The next morning at 8:30 AM, there was a bus right outside the hotel that took us directly there. Given the recent heatwave warning, they thoughtfully provided extra water, showing concern for our well-being. Due to our itinerary, on the third morning, we took our child to the Chengdu Museum, and afterwards, we planned to take them to Guanghan to see the Sanxingdui site. They proactively asked if we needed a late check-out or wanted to extend our stay, which really took the stress out of worrying about check-out times. The free panda bus tickets were a nice touch. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Wangfujing Mall, Chunxi Road, IFC, and Taikoo Li. Highly recommend! It will definitely be my first choice for future stays! I didn't take many photos, so I can only piece together what I have. The second picture is the hotel's second-floor afternoon tea and breakfast restaurant.

Hotel was in a relatively good location. Within walking distance there are malls and food stalls. Opposite hotel was the Sichuan opera theatre. Recommended to watch at least once. Hotel is able to get the tickets at cheaper rates. For the two bedroom suite, it is suitable for family of 5 with 1 child inclusive. There is one master bedroom which is directly linked to the toilet with a bathtub. Other room and second toilet is separated. Kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery etc. detergent is also provided for the washer. Refrigerator has normal and freezer compartment. Balcony is locked but you can sign an indemnity form to open it. Slippers provided are of good quality and house keeping is good. Only downside is the different little issues for different room we stayed in like hot water tap not working. hotel is connected to a mall, the HK cafe there is recommended. Food is good. Also the bakery sells really good chocolate bun. You can find it right after u enter the mall through hotel lobby. The best thing of course was Tina, who always served with a smiling face and takes the initiative to add you on WeChat to cater to your queries whenever you need. she was also the one who helped to provide breakfast for our child whose breakfast was not included. The other lady who served us on the first night told us we had to pay. It was a very nice gesture from Tina. look for Tina if u stay here, she will be a great help. For the breakfast,it is not the most fanciful but sufficient. Food changes daily but some food type stays the same. They have a paper where you can order noodles, egg omelette, pancakes and waffles. It will be served to you directly so thats a nice touch. They even provide disposable cups for the coffee machine with lids so that you can bring it out if you are in hurry or needed more drink. On weekday and weekend breakfast, the crowd was just nice unlike some hotels where it feels overwhelming and overcrowded due to the huge influx of tourists and there is no need to worry about food running out. Only downside for us is we can’t differentiate the type of meat. We don’t eat beef but it doesn’t state on the labels so we had to ask each time we wanted to take meat or dishes with meat. It is easy to call for DIDI (their taxis) from the hotel. If you have 4 pax or less, hotel can call for you but more than that, you have to arrange yourself. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable stay. Definitely you can’t compare the price to a cheaper hotel. You are paying for quality over here.

Clothes were wrapped in layers to prevent wrinkles, small items were categorized one by one, and the space inside the suitcase was utilized to its fullest. Throughout the process, their movements were gentle, respectful of my personal belongings, and perfectly discreet without being overly intrusive. Despite seeing some negative reviews, I decided to give it a try. My conclusion is that the experience of staying in a star-rated hotel is incomparable to a B&B. I'm not sure if I was upgraded to a business room, but I had a very comfortable stay. The soundproofing was excellent, and it was very clean. All the little details were thoughtfully designed. Although the decor is a bit dated, it didn't detract from the experience. In the bathroom, I even found a retractable clothesline, which was a nice touch. The entire floor felt cozy. I had a great night's sleep. The lobby service was also excellent; even with people coming and going, it wasn't noisy. It felt just like home, leaving me feeling completely relaxed and at ease. (I've stayed in more expensive B&Bs before, and even though they had smart rooms and were spacious, the hygiene couldn't compare. I once had an itchy duvet and couldn't sleep all night. Plus, B&Bs are often located in buildings shared with other businesses, and the breakfast wasn't good.) The hotel is also very close to Chunxi Road. Highly recommended and very satisfied.

The ladies at the executive lounge were all lovely and patient. One of them helped me get a cheesecake (which was surprisingly delicious!). I didn't get a chance to thank her when I left because she was busy, but I wanted to give her a special shout-out; she was always so proactive in interacting with guests without being intrusive. When checking out, I also went to the executive lounge and tried their special Sichuan peppercorn Black Forest cake. I thought they would just deduct the cost from my deposit, but they refunded the full amount instead.

If you forget any daily necessities, there's a store similar to Watsons right next door. Plus, there's a Sichuan opera theater nearby, so I didn't waste any time in the evenings. All in all, staying here was incredibly convenient!

Our river-view room offered an unobstructed view of the stunning scenery outside. The room itself was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright, and we were even treated to welcome fruits and local snacks – truly wonderful! Although the hotel is a bit older, the service and maintenance are still top-notch. The dinner buffet even includes hot pot, and guests get a discount. The food was delicious, with à la carte options, roast duck, and local specialties like Qiaojiao beef. There was a great selection of drinks, including white and red wines, and refreshing ice cream. The restaurant staff were attentive and friendly – definitely worth a visit! Breakfast was also excellent. The entrance to the Rong Restaurant is adorned with numerous pandas, which is absolutely fantastic!

Stayed for two nights. The hotel's location is not far from the front mountain of Mount Qingcheng, and about a 20-minute drive from the Qingcheng Mountain Golf Course, making it quite convenient. This area is essentially a small town with many guesthouses, but this hotel feels like the best one around. Plus, the rooms even have private hot springs! After hiking all day, coming back for a soak in the evening is so relaxing 😪. There's a night market street right in front of the hotel, perfect for an evening stroll and buying some fruit. Also, the hotel's food is so much better than the restaurants outside. On our first day, we went to a seemingly popular restaurant outside and the food was awful. For the rest of our meals, we ate at the hotel. It was clean, hygienic, and most importantly, the taste was fantastic. The chef clearly puts a lot of effort into the cooking, highly recommend! 👍

It must have been fate; among the many hotel options at Mount Qingcheng, I ended up choosing Yuanyuanxiang. My flight was delayed, and I didn't check in until almost 9 PM. The butler had already prepared a hot pot dinner for us (which needs to be reserved in advance), and it was surprisingly delicious. The room was split into two levels: the first floor had the bed, a small living area, and a balcony, while the lower level featured a hot spring bath and a sofa area. Every single detail was incredibly thoughtful. It was quite cold on the mountain, but the room had underfloor heating, and all the hardware was from major brands. The amenities and the generous daily supply of snacks were all from Sam's Club. As someone with high standards for hotels, I found everything to be impeccable. The butlers' service and attitude were exceptionally attentive and warm; they could meet almost all our needs. They offered valet parking, delivered breakfast to the room, replenished supplies daily, and even prepared the private hot spring tub by filling it with water in advance. Before we left, they even gave us two complimentary coffees and offered to mail us some local cured sausage. Everything was simply so comfortable and delightful. By the way, the natural oxygen bar goes without saying, and the cafe is incredibly photogenic – I regret not discovering it until just before I left. I will definitely be back!

This is a classic luxury hotel, and it still holds up quite well. On the first night, we stayed in their popular courtyard deluxe room, which was absolutely beautiful. It's been ten years, so it's well-maintained, which is impressive. The staff were all incredibly friendly. There was a slight hiccup on the first day during check-in; we were initially told we could check in at 1:30 PM, but then it was delayed. They proactively offered a suite upgrade, which we declined. When checking out, they were very accommodating with a late checkout and didn't rush us at all – truly excellent service! From the doorman to the restaurant, housekeeping, and front desk, the service was consistently great. Any requests for deliveries were handled promptly. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance. The location is also super convenient, just a ten-minute walk to Taikoo Li. Very comfortable overall.

The room was much larger than my previous stays. My only minor regret is that breakfast wasn't served in the old restaurant in the East Lobby this time; that Russian-style building was incredibly beautiful.

My stay in the King Room was perfect. The room design was sleek and high-end, offering a spacious and open feel. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided expansive city street views. The mattress was soft and perfectly conformed to my back, and the bedding was skin-friendly and breathable – after a day of travel, lying down instantly brought relaxation. The entire room featured smart controls, making it very convenient to operate the curtains and lights with voice commands. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, and the rainfall shower had stable water pressure. The toiletries had a pleasant, fresh scent. The soundproofing throughout the room was excellent, completely blocking out city noise. Plus, the mini-bar drinks were complimentary. Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We brought our kids to Chengdu Courtyard Hotel, and it’s a hidden gem tucked away in Wenshufang. It’s an ancient Western Sichuan courtyard filled with intangible cultural heritage elements, offering a serene and charming ambiance. Everywhere you look, there are beautiful examples of Shu embroidery and bamboo weaving, which the kids absolutely loved. The front desk staff was incredibly thoughtful and even upgraded our room for free. Our butler, Xiao Fu, was always on hand to assist with anything we needed. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and they even provided amenities for children, making it a pleasant stay for both adults and kids. It’s a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, making it an ideal choice for family trips. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Chengdu. We hope the hotel continues to thrive!

The location is quite good, right by the river. There are plenty of great food options in the alley behind it, making it perfect for a city walk. The materials and furnishings are undeniably top-notch, extremely luxurious, all marble with an 'old money' vibe. You can tell they invested heavily in the hardware at the time. However, in stark contrast to the luxurious hardware, the service was truly abysmal, so much so that I canceled my second night and moved to another hotel. Let me briefly explain: 1. The butler called ahead to confirm my arrival time and room preferences, which was very clear. Yet, upon check-in, there was no record in the system, and the front desk seemed clueless. There was clearly no handover or communication in between. 2. When checking in, I was curious about the hotel's construction, materials, and opening date, but the staff knew absolutely nothing. Seriously, how are they trained? 3. Even more incredible, the sweet potatoes 🍠 and corn 🌽 at breakfast were stone cold! Yes, I took them from the steaming cabinet, and they were cold (this was the direct reason I decided to move). I kindly told a staff member they were cold, and she came over, touched my corn with her hand, and then just walked away… walked away… walked away! Hahaha, I actually laughed! I won't even mention other things. I will definitely not choose this place again! Compared to the Shangri-La and Grand Hyatt I stayed at previously, the difference is just too vast. Although the current economic environment is challenging and hotels face cost pressures and high NOP targets, I hope management sees this and takes it seriously! Wishing them well!

This was my first time staying at a W hotel in Chengdu, and perhaps my expectations were a bit too high as I wasn't completely blown away. That said, it definitely lives up to its reputation as a good high-end hotel. The location is excellent for business travelers, with many companies nearby. The area is also quite lively in the evenings, with lots of stylish young people around, and you can see the Twin Towers right outside. The room was spacious and the facilities were good, with comfortable bedding. My only minor complaint is that the view faced a residential complex, which isn't as open as what you'd get at the Waldorf Astoria. The breakfast, however, was fantastic – varied, fresh, and with plenty of authentic Sichuan snacks. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at the Millennium Hotel with our three girls. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome by surprising the kids with complimentary panda plush toys, which they absolutely loved. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and we especially appreciated the pillow menu, which was a nice touch. The delivery robot was also a fun and memorable feature that the kids were excited to use. After we checked out, I realized I had accidentally left some items in the room. The hotel staff responded quickly, located them, and promptly arranged to send them to us via SF Express, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful family-friendly stay with excellent service from start to finish. We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

This Home Inn I booked for my trip to Chengdu was easily the best I've ever stayed at; the experience was truly fantastic. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a lovely fragrance, which was incredibly pleasant. The front desk staff were also very warm and attentive during check-in, always greeting guests with a smile. Their service was impeccable – always available but never intrusive. The hotel's overall decor has a distinctly British feel, and both the staff's attire and the interior design were excellent. The environment is quiet despite being in a bustling area; the whole place felt very peaceful. The hotel breakfast was quite good, offering local Chengdu specialties like 'xiaomian' (noodles), 'chaoshou' (wontons), and 'douhua' (tofu pudding). The cleaning staff were also very friendly; the 'auntie' cleaning our room even brought us extra bottles of water when tidying our room during our extended stay. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center near Xinnanmen Metro Station, just a 150m walk away. Having the metro so close made getting around and visiting attractions incredibly easy. Chunxi Road is just one metro stop away, and popular spots like Kuanzhai Alley and Wenshu Monastery are also easily accessible. There are plenty of dining options nearby, including 'chuan'er' (skewer) and hot pot restaurants. Just a short walk down University Road, you'll find even more local snacks. This place is truly excellent, the price is reasonable, and it exceeded all my expectations. It's a fantastic base for exploring Chengdu – highly recommended!
